Chapter 7
"We did it."
"Did what? Goodnight." Dumbledore waved his hand at us after responding to Harry and then he left. We quickly reentered the room and saw Past Me, Past Hermione and Past Harry disappearing. We quickly shut the door behind us and ran over to our past selves' places. Madam Pomfrey came in with Madam Bones.
"Is the Headmaster gone now? What happened to Mr Weasley? He was conscious when I left!" Madam Pomfrey exclaimed as she ran over to Ron.
"Er, Dumbledore, kinda, hit his broken leg a couple of times and Ron passed out. I think he's been drinking a little at Hagrid's. His Hippogriff was sentenced to be killed today so..." Hermione trailed off.
"Hermione, Madam Bones has an exact Aura match to us too," I whispered to her in surprise and Hermione blushed a little. "Madam Bones, Lady Cassiopeia Malfoy, Head of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black." I bowed and then smiled. "But you can call me Cassiopeia. I'm really glad you're here." Right then, Sev, Dumbledore, Macnair and Fudge came in.
"What did you do, Potter!? Black is gone!" Sev growled.
"I already told you he's innocent," I said and they all looked over. Fudge paled a little at spotting me with Madam Bones. "And why were the Dementors called to give Sirius the Dementor's Kiss when the 'Kiss-on-sight' order was revoked? You can be sure that, once Sirius' innocence is proven, I'll be suing the Ministry for this!"
"On what grounds!?" Fudge protested.
"Sirius was only disowned by his Father for being a Blood Traitor. For the last year, I've been considering reinstating Andromeda Tonks, and therefore her Daughter too, and Sirius into the Black Family. I sent a letter to Gringotts a few weeks ago after I discovered Peter Pettigrew was alive and Sirius was definitely innocent. For a while now, Sirius has been an official member of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. As Head of House, I have every right to sue the Ministry for actions taken against a member of my House."
"And where is the proof? He's gone! He can't corroborate your claims in a trial if he doesn't show up!" I took my backpack off and took out the jar with Pettigrew inside.
"The jar has an Unbreakable Charm on it so he can't transform back or he'll die but the Rat inside was formerly known as Scabbers. He's been a pet for the Weasley Family for 12 years. He's actually Peter Pettigrew in his illegal, unregistered Animagus form. He cut his finger off to fake his death as you can see from the missing toe. You can interrogate him under Veritaserum and you'll find Sirius switched the Secret Keeper to Pettigrew who then informed The Dark Lord as to the Potters' whereabouts. After being confronted by Cousin Siri, Pettigrew framed him and ran. Sirius escaped using his Animagus form, by the way, so you should probably make sure the cells in Azkaban are Animagus-proof. Wouldn't want this happening again, would we?"
"No, we wouldn't," Madam Bones said. "Thank you, Cassiopeia, for this. We'll make sure the trial happens as soon as possible."
"Thanks, Madam Bones."
"Amelia, please," she responded. "If I can call you Cassiopeia, it's only fair."
"Okay, then. Amelia it is."
...
Harry and I chuckled as we entered the Great Hall. "I told you that Draco was just--"
"What's going on over there?" Harry asked as we saw a huge crowd around the Gryffindor table.
"Stand back, I said! Or I'll take them upstairs if you don't settle," Ron said.
"Harry, Cassie!" Neville said as he and Seamus ran over. "Wherever did you get them?"
"Can I have a go, Harry? After you, of course," Seamus asked as we walked over to the crowd.
"What are you talking about?" Harry asked and I spotted Blaise, Theo, Hestia, Astoria and Flora in the crowd around the table.
"What's got both Slytherins and Gryffindors excited?" I whispered to Harry.
"No idea," he whispered back.
"Quiet," Ron said from where he was leaning on his wooden crutch. "Let them through. I, er, didn't mean to open them, Harry, Cassie. They was badly wrapped and they made me do it." He pointed at the twins.
"Did not," they said in unison. We looked at the table and moved the wrapping to uncover two Firebolts.
"Holy shit! Who sent us these? My Father brought brooms for the whole Slytherin Quidditch Team last year so no one'll get me a new one for another few years and I have a perfectly good broom so I wouldn't buy it myself either or I would've during the summer... Not to mention there's one here for Harry too... Harry... You don't think Sirius..."
"Well, maybe?"
"These came with it," Hermione said as she held up two of Buckbeak's feathers, each with a little piece of paper wrapped around them. One said 'Harry' and the other said 'Cassie'.
"Hey, Harry..."
"Yes, Cassie?"
"Wanna race?" I grinned and him and he grinned back. Everyone cheered and the twins started placing bets while Harry and I tied Buckbeak's feathers around the handles of our brooms. We all ran outside past Marcus, Lucian, Peregrine, Cassius, Draco, Crabbe, Goyle, Daphne, Pansy, Tracey and Millie.
"Cassie, what's--"
"Not now, Draco! Ask Blaise! And bet on me!" Harry and I mounted our brooms and grinned at each other before looking forward.
"It's from here to around the castle," Fred said.
"Flying over The Black Lake to do so," George said.
"Three laps."
"And then landing right where you started."
"The race starts," Fred said.
"On the count of three."
"One."
"Two," George continued and I readied myself.
"Three!" They shouted in unison and Harry and I immediately kicked off from the ground really fast. Harry screamed in fear and then it turned into the kind of scream you do when having fun. Harry lost the first lap but beat me in the second and I barely won in the third. I guess this is also something I have to practice over the summer. I grinned as several Gryffindors passed money over to the Slytherins and Hermione. I ran over to Hermione and kissed her.
"You bet on me and not Harry?" I whispered.
"Yeah," she said with a small smile. I saw Ginny looking really jealous, mad, hurt, upset and resigned. I saw Pansy and Daphne looking pissed off and jealous so I dragged Hermione over to the Slytherins, passed my broom over to Draco, grabbed Pansy, who was holding Daphne's hand, and pulled Pansy and Hermione away.
"I'll talk to you later, Dray! Daphne, don't let go of Pansy." I pulled them all the way up to the seventh floor, paced three times and into the Room of Requirement. I pushed the three of them onto the sofa opposite the fireplace, walked over to close the door and sat down on the small table in front of them. "Okay, we're talking about this now."
"Since when are you and the Mudblood a thing?" Pansy spat.
"One, don't call her that, Pansy," I said. "And two, we kissed for the first time not last night but the night before. It's been less than 48 hours. We've only kissed then and just now. We're not a thing... Yet."
"But you want to be," Daphne said, sadly.
"You and Pansy have been kissing a lot. You've gone to Hogsmeade together. Why do you care?"
"Because we want you too!" Pansy shouted. "You've been flirting with us since you were five! We thought you... We thought you wanted us too," she whispered.
"She does," Hermione said. "We talked about it shortly after our first kiss. Apparently, you two, me, Cassie, Cassie's Mom, Cassie's two Aunts, Madam Bones, Professor McGonagall, Blaise's Mom, Rita Skeeter, Cassie's Cousin and Alecto Carrow all have the exact same Aura shade and are 100% compatible."
"Oh, shit! That makes total sense," Daphne said. "Your Mom's the one who made me realise I like girls, after all."
"Wait, what!?" I yelled at her. "You had a crush on my Mom and never told me?"
"Have a crush, not had."
"Me too," Pansy said, blushing.
"Why is everyone cuter when they blush, it's not fair!?" I complained and they giggled.
"And, I was kinda too busy focusing on her Mudblood status in our first year and then jealous you were flirting with her last year and this year but Granger... You're really cute," Pansy said and Hermione went red.
"Yeah, it's kinda the same for me too," Daphne said. "You're really cute, Hermione."
"I was jealous too and in our first year, everyone was just horrible to me so I didn't want to think about it but even then I knew I kinda liked you both," Hermione said.
"Yeah, but I bet Gorgeous is the one who made you realise you like girls, right?" I asked with a wink.
"Yeah," Hermione squeaked before hiding her bright red face in her hands.
"Gorgeous?" Pansy and Daphne asked.
"It's what I call Professor McGonagall when I can get away with it, which is just during the holidays now, sadly," I sighed.
"So, wait... Do you like your Mom, then?" Hermione asked me with a slight wince. She's gotten more used to the whole 'Pureblood inbreeding' thing but she's still not 100% okay with it.
"Kind of? I think she's stunning and I love her but when it comes to the idea of kissing her... I've thought about it and I want to but I also don't want my relationship with her to change, you know? Like, I want to be her lover, her Girlfriend but I also want to be her Daughter. She's my Mom... From what she's told me about her past relationship with her Sisters, she felt the same when she was younger and so did they but with incestual relationships in the Wizarding World, once they're public..." I sighed.
"People either still consider you family to each other and say it's wrong or they don't see the familial relationship anymore and sometimes even have to be reminded of it," Pansy said.
"So, about this then..." Daphne said as she pointed at the four of us. "Do we all agree that the other three are cute?"
"Yes," Hermione shyly said.
"I think cute's an understatement," I said with a smirk.
"Obviously, Daph," Pansy said with an eye roll.
"So, to start with, maybe we should kiss each other?" Daphne suggested before kissing Pansy. I kissed Hermione. I don't think her blush is going down any time soon. I leaned over and kissed Pansy as Daphne leaned over and kissed Hermione. Pansy sighed a happy little sigh. Daphne and I waited, watching Pansy and Hermione. They both looked red as they leaned in and kissed each other. Gods, that's hot. After they pulled away, I smirked at Daphne and she smirked back. I stood up and walked forward a step, pushed her back against the sofa, straddled her and then passionately kissed her. Daphne tried deepening the kiss and I let her. I moaned as I felt her tongue touch mine and then I pulled back. She tried to kiss me again but I stopped her and motioned to the two Witches watching us with rapt attention. "Enjoying the show, you two?" Pansy and Hermione's faces were so red, it's hilarious.
"Kind of, yeah," Hermione whispered. "You two are so..."
"Yeah," Pansy sighed. Daphne and I chuckled.
"You two are so cute," Daphne said and I giggled.
"I know, right," I said. "I've been saying that for ages!"
"Do you think your Parents will let me visit you during the summer? Or you visit me?" Hermione asked.
"No," Pansy said. "Even though you've passed your Etiquette Exam, they'll still hate you for your Muggle Parents. If you tell me when you're going to visit the Malfoys, though, I can make sure I'm there then!"
"Same," Daphne said.
