Chapter 5
"Your Parents didn't stand a chance, Harry," I ended with a grimace.
"Expelliarmus!" I heard Uncle Sev yell and I saw Lupin's wand fly out of his hand. I turned around and saw him pointing his wand at Sirius.
"Don't!" He turned around and looked at me in surprise. "I know he did to you, Uncle Sev, but it wasn't Lupin's fault and Sirius is innocent. I know it for a fact and our proof's in here." I saw his eyes go wide and then quickly flicker to behind me. I turned and saw Harry's wand pointed at Sirius. "Harry, no!" I quickly erected a Protego in front of Sirius but as I did, Harry moved his wand to point at Sev.
"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled and I used my Air Magic to try to redirect the Spell but was a spilt-second too late and the Spell hit Uncle Sev and he flew backwards, unconscious.
"Harry!" I yelled at him.
"You attacked a teacher!" Hermione yelled and I noticed Harry had her wand.
"You attacked my Godfather!" I exclaimed. "Harry, stop using Hermione's wand. Summon your own wand and give Hermione's back to her."
"I don't know the Summoning Charm. It's a fifth-year Spell," Harry said.
"So's Protego," I said with an eye roll. "Accio Harry Potter's wand." The wand flew into my hand and I raised an eyebrow at Harry. He sighed and handed Hermione her wand back. I waited a second more and then passed Harry his wand which he immediately pointed at Sirius.
"If what you're saying is true," Harry said to Sirius. "Then prove it." Sirius tried to grab Scabbers but Ron wouldn't let him.
"Ron, hand him over," I ordered and Ron looked at me for a moment before nodding and letting go. Lupin bent down and grabbed his and Sev's wands. How the fuck did two wands land in the same place? Sirius let go of Scabbers on the piano, Lupin passed him Uncle Sev's wand and the Rat immediately started running and avoiding the Spells the two were throwing. They both just managed to hit the Rat right as it jumped through a hole in the wall to escape and turned into a fat, ugly, Rat-like man with two big front teeth and a bald patch on his head who kept making Rat noises. Ew. I don't even want to be in the same room as this ugly-ass guy. Just looking at him makes me want to throw up. "And to think, Ron's been sleeping with this guy for years now." Ron looked traumatised at the realisation.
"He was in the room when we got changed, Harry," Ron whispered, disgusted.
"''Peter Pettigrew watching little boys change' by Rita Skeeter'. I can see it now," I said with a mix of disgust and humour in my tone. I zoned out until I saw the disgusting man grabbing Harry's jacket. "Ew. Now he's trying to undress you himself, Harry." Harry quickly pushed him away and Sirius and Remus pointed the wands at him again.
"You should've realised, Peter," Sirius said. "That if Voldemort didn't kill you, we would. Together."
"No!" I yelled. "We can use him to clear Sirius' name. Prove his innocence at his trial. The trial I convinced Madam Bones at the DMLE to give him. He'd be a free man and, once in a better state of mind given he's been in Azkaban for so long, can take over Harry's guardianship since he's Harry's Godfather. There's no point in you suffering further, Cousin Siri. The Ministry will give him the Dementor's Kiss after your trial." The two looked at each other and then Harry before nodding. I grimaced when I felt a Life Debt snap into place and Pettigrew's eyes went wide. "Now, let's get out of here. I'll take care of Uncle Sev. Lupin and Hermione, you watch Pettigrew. Siri and Harry, you help Ron. Siri, you can hold onto Sev's wand for now." Everyone but Lupin, Pettigrew and Sirius nodded but then the boyfriends sighed and agreed. I zoned out as we made our way outside, my Air Magic keeping Uncle Sev floating in front of me. Sirius hit a knot or something to make the tree stop moving just as I'd gotten outside. I looked up and realised in horror that I'd forgotten something and my eyes went wide. "Oh, shit! Sirius! The full moon!" I yelled as Hermione placed Ron down against the base of the tree. Her eyes went wide too. I quickly bound Pettigrew and summoned a nearby rock. As Harry and Hermione helped Ron stand back up while Lupin moved away from us with Sirius following him, I transfigured the rock into a jar. I made it unbreakable and then forced Pettigrew into his Rat form. Ratboy immediately tried to run away. "Accio Rat Peter Pettigrew." He squealed as he was dragged through the air and I shoved him in the jar and put the lid on. I quickly poked a couple of holes in the jar with my Fire Magic right as Uncle Sev woke up.
"Professor Lupin's turned into a Werewolf, Professor," Hermione told him, pointing at the nearby Werewolf Lupin fighting with Dog Siri.
Bad idea. Bad idea. Should've taken my Potion...
Lupin? I asked as I stepped closer. I ignored Hermione and Uncle Sev trying to pull me back. Lupin? Where's Sirius?
Right here! Sirius yelled as he rammed into Werewolf Lupin. The two fought and Werewolf Lupin ran after Dog Siri. Harry ran after them.
"Come back here, Potter!" Uncle Sev yelled. I quickly ducked under his arm and ran after Harry. "Cassie, don't!" I spotted Harry throwing a rock at Werewolf Lupin.
"You fucking idiot, Harry!" I yelled at him as Werewolf Lupin started towards us, growling. He stopped close by when we all heard a howl. I tried to hear what it meant when the howl happened again.
Come to me.
Coming. Werewolf Lupin ran towards the noise. We turned away when we heard Dog Siri whimpering. We saw him stagger a little and turn back into a Human before disappearing from view. We ran after him and saw him lying down next to the edge of part of The Black Lake.
"Sirius!" Harry yelled as he ran over. He turned him over so he was lying on his back. "No." Harry and I spotted the huge wound on Sirius' shoulder. "Sirius!"
"He's still alive, Harry. His Aura is weak but still there. We need to get him to the Hospital Wing, Harry. If we don't, he could die. We have to get him help. I can use my Water Magic to stop him from bleeding further until we can get proper help but we need to move." I spotted the edge of the water freezing. "Oh, no. Please, no. Not now." Sirius woke up for a moment and made scared noises. I spotted Harry's face fall as he looked up.
"No! Sirius no longer has the 'Kiss-on-sight' order. You aren't allowed to hurt him. He's weak enough as it is," Harry complained but the Dementors flew closer.
"Harry, they don't care. Dementors won't listen to pleading. If they want him, they'll try to take him. We need to summon the best Patroni we can. Expecto Patronum," I said as I focused on the memory of waking up with Thema and Mom. A large barrier made of white mist came out of my wand and I heard Harry perform the Spell too. After two Dementor attacks, Harry's Patronus Shield was gone. After three, mine was gone. Hundreds of Dementors swarmed us.
Time to feed.
Time to feed.
Time to feed. They all said the same thing as they started feeding on the three of us.
No. It isn't time to feed. You're not supposed to feed on us. We're children and Sirius is weak. The orders changed.
No order change. Sirius' soul is ours. We were promised. We will feed. You attack us. We feed on you too.

Ours. The last thing I saw was a bright light and I blacked out.

"Cassie... Cassie?" I heard a voice say. I groaned and blinked away the bright light that had appeared after opening my eyes. Hermione!
"Hey, Cutie. What'd you want?" I asked.
"Any minute now, the Dementors are gonna perform the Dementor's Kiss on Sirius," Hermione said. "We've got to wake up Harry!"
"We need an Owl. If we can owl Madam Bones, she can put a stop to it. We need to owl her and find a way to prevent them from doing that to Sirius until she gets here... there should be an Owl around here somewhere... Or a Floo maybe? Some way of contacting St. Mungo's when needed... I quickly run over to Madam Pomfrey's office.
"Miss Malfoy, what are you doing!?" Madam Pomfrey exclaimed as I ran over to her Floo.
"I'm kinda in a rush so I'll explain after. I promise," I said as I grabbed some Floo powder and threw it into the fireplace. "Amelia Bones' office."
"What...? And you are?" Madam Bones asked when her head was in the fire.
"Cassiopeia Malfoy. We've got a huge problem. Sirius was captured and Fudge is insisting on the Dementor's Kiss but he's innocent and we've got proof of it!"
"The 'Kiss-on-sight' order was rescinded."
"But it wasn't! One of my Family Gifts is Magical Creature Communication. The Dementors themselves told me that their orders haven't changed. Even if the orders were changed, the Dementors weren't told. Please, you've got to stop him!"
"It was the Minister's job to notify the Dementors of the change in orders... I'll be right over, Princess Malfoy."
"Cassie," I said with a grateful sigh and she nodded. I quickly left the office and spotted Hermione looping the chain of the Time Turner over Harry's neck. "Hey, wait for me!" I ran over and Hermione placed the chain around my neck too. Everything blurred backwards around us. Once it stopped, Hermione took the Timer Turner from around our necks and placed it back under her shirt. "Three turns... So, I've just got to use the Turner for 427 more turns and my birthday will stay the same. Thankfully, I'm getting a Turner next year as I've signed up for all of the O.W.L. classes. I don't want my birthday to change," I muttered to myself as Hermione explained the Time Turner to Harry. "Why this moment in time...? Guys! Buckbeak! We can save Buckbeak!"
"Of course," Hermione said. "Remember what Dumbledore said? If we succeed, more than one innocent life could be spared. Let's go." We quickly made our way down to behind the pumpkin patch outside Hagrid's Hut. We spotted Fudge, Dumbledore and Macnair, the executioner, coming down to Hagrid's.
"Here they come," Harry said. "I'd better hurry." Harry started to stand up but Hermione and I pulled him back down.
"We can't change the past. Buckbeak was still there when we came out, Harry," I whispered.
"Fudge has to see Buckbeak before we steal him. Otherwise, he'll think Hagrid set him free," Hermione said. I zoned out as Scabbers was found and Harry and Hermione argued about stealing him. "Doesn't matter if we don't get him now. I forced him into an unbreakable jar in his Rat form. If he transforms, he dies. I don't know what happened to the jar but if we get the jar, we've got Pettigrew. He couldn't've escaped."
"So, that's what you were doing," Harry said in shock. Hermione drags us further around the pumpkin patch so we're not spotted.
"Fudge is coming... And we aren't leaving?" Hermione asked in confusion.
"We left after Harry said 'ow'," I said and then I quickly ran past the tree line, making sure Fudge and the two didn't see me. A few moments later, Harry and Hermione join me. Harry hides behind the tree next to mine and Hermione hides with me.
