Lessons in Distraction

"Coming of age, weren’t you?" they’d say, as if it were something to celebrate. For her, it only made life harder. She’d once thought finishing school would feel freeing. Maybe it was the endless stress of studying that stole all her time.But now, sitting with her NEWTs in hand, one terrible thought filled her mind: him.That awful man seemed to control her every thought, as if he’d tossed her brain into one of his dreadful, brutal potions he made. And yet, some foolish part of her wondered if he liked her. The idea made her sick. She hated it almost as much as she hated him.

I am not sure if this is going to be underage or not. We will see how that comes out. Regardless, to expect some underage (she is seventeen) romance between them. Not including sex at the moment but later. Another note might be myself not knowing what to do after the main plot of the story finished. I guess that's another issue for later. For now, I'm trying to work on it. Thanks for the wait.
