Harry stepped forward when Neville faulted
"It's okay, Nev." And then Harry himself step forward to the Boggart thinking of Tom Riddle from the chamber
Then the boggart turned into 6th year Slytherin Tom Riddle, but only Harry knew who it was, and only Hermione and Ron guessed who it was
The other only saw a older student with a prefect bage and in Slytherin colours but none of them could actually recognise who it is and when the Gryffindor's asked the Slytherin students if they recognise the person the Slytherin student replied in the negative which had everyone confused but then the boggart started talking
Riddle: I'm afraid I can't do that, Harry. You see, as poor Ginny grows weaker, I grow stronger. Yes, Harry. It was Ginny Weasley who opened the Chamber of Secrets.
Riddle: It was Ginny who set the Basilisk on the Mudbloods and Filch's cat, Ginny, who wrote the threatening messages on the walls.
Riddle: Because I told her to. You'll find I can be very persuasive. Not that she knew what she was doing. She was, shall we say, in a kind of trance. Still, the power of the diary began to scare her. And she tried to dispose of it in the girls' bathroom. And then, who should find it but you? The very person I was most anxious to meet.
Riddle: I knew I had to talk to you, meet you if I could. So I decided to show you my capture of that brainless oaf Hagrid to gain your trust.
Riddle: It was my word against Hagrid's. Only Dumbledore seemed to think he was innocent.
Riddle: He certainly kept an annoyingly close watch on me after that. [walks around Harry as he speaks] I knew it wouldn't be safe to open the Chamber again while I was still at school, so I decided to leave behind a diary, preserving my sixteen-year-old self in its pages, so that one day, I would be able to lead another, to finish Salazar Slytherin's noble work.
Riddle: [smiles maliciously] Haven't I told you? Killing Mudbloods doesn't matter to me anymore. For many months now, my new target has been you. How is it that a baby with no extraordinary magical talent was able to defeat the greatest wizard of all time? How did you escape [pushes Harry's hair aside with his wand to see his scar] with nothing but a scar while Lord Voldemort's powers were destroyed?
Riddle: [smiles wickedly] Voldemort is... my past, present, and future. [turns toward the statue and uses Harry's wand to write his full name in flaming letters; after writing the "E", he flicks the wand, and the letters rearrange themselves to say "I AM LORD VOLDEMORT]
[as the letters fade and Riddle turns to face him, Riddle stares evilly at Harry]
Riddle: Surely, you didn't think I was going to keep my filthy Muggle father's name? No. I fashioned myself a new name, a name I knew wizards everywhere would one day fear to speak when I became the greatest sorcerer in the world!
Riddle: Dumbledore's been driven out of this castle by the mere memory of me!
While this was happening all of the Gryffindor's and Slytherin's even the teacher professor Lupin were confused then concerned then horrified especially those who were related to death eaters and then the revelation that Voldemort was a half-blood with a muggle father had a few people fainting and a few grab empty potion vials and placing copies of the memory in it within ten minutes all of Hogwarts found out about the so called dark lord within a hour three-hundred and thirty owls left Hogwarts with copies of the class
Within two days the daily prophet got a hold of the story and were the second newspaper to report the story with the Quibbler beating the prophet by two days and a half and even having an elusive with Harry Potter himself who just adored the blonde Ravenclaw Seer and later when azkaban actually brought multiple version of the Quibbler to hand to the imprisoned death eaters well more then half killed themselves and the others revoked the former dark lord the free death eaters who were formerly loyal either killed themselves or revoked the dark lord official
While this was happening Amelia Bones received multiple vials full of copies of memories from one Sirius Black and after watching the memories called an immediate wizengamot meeting within the day Sirius Black was free and due to Albus freaking out at Hogwarts the man didn't know about Black's new-found freedom or that Black was named Harry Potter's new guardian along with Augusta Longbottom who would finally after twelve years have custody over her god-son's son and her daughter-in-law's godson and Sirius was even moving in with Augusta and going between the hospital and the Longbottom residence
After a couple of days and hearing about Neville's so-called first accidental magic both Sirius and Augusta were horrified as both adults knew that Neville had showed magic since he was a baby only minutes behind Harry in the accidental magic department while Harry had saved Lily's life Neville had magical grown Lily's favourite flowers hence why Neville second middle name was a flower related name as he grew Oleander flowers for Lily so both Alice and Frank gave Neville a second middle name to remember the occasion
When Augusta who had let Algie take Neville to get his wand as she went to get Neville some exotic seeds had learnt that Algie had forced Neville to use Frank's wand for school this had both Sirius and Augusta storming Hogwarts grabbing Neville, Harry and Hermione who refused to let the boy's alone after they had been almost hexed into the hospital wing earlier that day and took all three to diagon alley
The two adults had first taken them to Gringotts where the two adults forced the three children to have inheritance test's which had showed all three being descendants of all four founders but Harry having the lordship for the Gryffindor and Slytherin houses and Hermione having the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw ladyships as apparently the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw goes from girl to girl and Hermione was the only magical daughter of both houses
Then after both adults made sure that the three children because they were including Hermione as she was Neville and Harry's cousin had everything and Hermione had access to the Ravenclaw library vault because of course Rowena Ravenclaw had a vault dedicated to amassing books from all over the world and had three of each book ever made including those that had multiple editions every time a book was republished there would be three brought and added to the vault and even Sirius, Augusta, Neville and Harry were curious about some of the books Neville for the herbology and Harry for the parseltounge books and apparently all three were parseltounge which shocked Neville and Hermione and Harry had to partake in a specialised ritual to cleanse Harry of something called a horcrux
Which then had the goblins and some of their human workers being sent on a adventure to destroy all of Tom Riddle's horcruxs which the goblins were unnervingly happy about which would give both Sirius and Augusta nightmares for days to come and the three children wondering why they were happy
Which turned out to be the fact that if a horcrux was in Gringotts that would mean that the wixen had broken the goblin treaties which after finding Helga Hufflepuff's cup in the Lestrange vault which had the kids very angry then lead to the goblins falling back onto the backup treaty that favoured the goblins more and gave them more freedom too
So soon all of the dark lord's horcruxs were found and cleansed with Hufflepuff's cup and Ravenclaw's diadem were returned to Hermione and Slytherin's locket and Peverell's ring were returned to Harry along with Gryffindor's sword after this a mass recall was done so that all of the items belonging to the three children was returned to the correct vaults
Turns out Professor Lupin's class was a cataclysm for multiple different possibilities, and Neville, Hermione, and Harry were all the better for it, especially when all of Dumbledore's lies and manipulations came to light
