The Lamb and the Serpent
Summary
Tom then leaned over to Orion and whispered. "Who is he?" But Orion merely stared at the boy, then at Tom without answering. But Tom wasn't paying that no mind, Tom’s eyes narrowed as the boy approached the altar, kneeling with careful precision as he presented the lamb to the priest. His movements were calculated yet unpracticed, suggesting a defiance against the rigid traditions forced upon him. It was subtle, almost imperceptible, but Tom noticed. There was something raw about him, something untamed beneath the veneer of obedience. Tom couldn’t quite place it, but he recognized the flicker of rebellion, the refusal to fully conform. And that intrigued him. For a brief moment, Tom wondered if the boy’s defiance was born from the same place as his own. Did he chafe against the expectations placed upon him? Did he reject the idea of submission as thoroughly as Tom did? Or was it merely an illusion, a glimmer of individuality that would inevitably be stamped out by the weight of tradition?(This used to be "Les Amitiés particulières." In title, changed it to seem more original, by the tittle though hehe)
Note
Okay I'm pretty excited about this one since Les Amitiés particulières. Is one of my favourite films of all times and now turning it onto one of my OTHER favourite films such as Harry Potter plus a Tomarry fic is too good to pass up! I hope you do enjoy this as much as I enjoy writing this!

Chapter 4

Harry then inhaled the smell of food, to say that he was hungry was an understatement, he had gotten in trouble by being late earlier, so he had detention with Flinch, eugh! Everybody then stood up, he followed suit and a prayer being said. Afterwards everybody sat down but he remained standing as punishment. Seriously, this is so unnecessary. Harry thought as he passed his bowl over as it was filled with soup, he then placed a napkin, tucking it in by the collar of his uniform neatly, as neat as he can do supposedly.

He then turned out the chatter of their holidays, yada yada, lucky them then. He had to stay with his vile aunt and uncle, psssh! It would've been better if he had gon to an Orphanage, Atleast he wasn't treated like a lesser human being there. He then scanned the entire room, finally his eyes landed on the very person he was looking for, and the person who he knows realize was already staring at him, it made him smile, blush, even a little bit for being caught staring. He waved his hand that was holding the spoon as Tom gave a little nod and a small smile.

"Why has he been punished?" Tom asked with a furrowed brow, never bringing his eyes away from the boy. The person Infront of him then turned to look at Harry, tried until Tom kicked his foot under the table, making the person hiss under his breathe, he then looked at Tom who was glaring already as if daring him to say anything. The person just gritted it's teeth before answering. "He was playing the fool-" The person then stammered a bit, not sure if it was the right thing to say. "He told the inspector he'd given his ticket away" Tom asked before turning to Orion to his left. "I saw Abraxas!"

Tom nodded in acknowledgement before taking a bite of his food. "Is that so? What did he say?" He turned to Orion with a questioning brow, Orion then shrugged before turning on his own food. "Nothing special" someone then asked how Abraxas was doing to which Orion answered, however as the conversation easily flowed between the people sorrounding Tom, his gaze was always on the green eyed young man who was surprisingly graceful on his movements despite eating while standing, not spilling any of the food on the spoon he carried.

Harry tried to eat his food without spilling which was a success, honestly this was getting all too frustrating but he kept a mask on, faking nonchalance and tried his best to look his best despite being in a situation that would otherwise said differently. He finally lifted the plate near his hip, not too close and ate, not right after he'd done that, Snape then passed by and muttered on his breath for Harry to hear. "Without lifting the plate." Accompanied with his signature snarl, it made Harry want to roll his eyes at the man but did as told.

His gaze then averted towards Tom who was staring at him, again. He then played the spoon and napkin on top of his half finished food before Snape passed by again, he crossed his hands over his chest and pointed his nose highup, while maintaining eye contact of Tom and looking over at Snape on the corner of his eyes to no surprise who was staring holes on his back, it seems the man was trying to be intimidating.

As Snape passed, Tom then gave Harry a pleased smile, and a small nod whom the young boy returned.

NOTES:

Hi! So I know this is a very very short chap, and I know I promised 3 chapters in a week, so I do hope you forgive me, tomorrow is my exams and I was cramming this up, I am still planning on the upcoming chapters but For now I need to focus on my studies, our science teacher has been less present during one of his lectures so we have to self study for his, and when he does enter the class, I can't understand what his saying, I do try, really. It's just that the way he teach is not really that.... Satisfactory, trust me. I am an honor student at school, and I am quite satisfied with the other teachers teaching but with our science teacher (he teachers physics btw) it's just like- his not qualified for it. Yes. But anyway, we have a 2 days test, so I will be free to write on Saturday or maybe Sunday, I will need Saturday as a rest day, probably, but I will try though, I'll make 4 chapters, it's a promise!

Thankyou for your understanding. I won't disappoint on the next chap, you have my word:)
