Diagon Alley.
It was late August – a week before the new school year began and Tommy was sleeping peacefully.
Keyword: was.
Tubbo, being the little ball of chaos that he is, couldn’t resist the temptation to cause some trouble. With a mischievous grin plastered across his face, he grabbed the biggest pillow in his line of sight and swung it wildly. The cushion slammed into Tommy’s face with a loud thwack, his eyes flying open as a boisterous cackle is heard from beside him.
He groaned in frustration as he recognised the person above him, snatching the pillow from the other’s hand and snuggling further into his blankets.
“Come onnnn!” Tubbo pulled at his arm, rolling his eyes in what would be annoyance if it weren’t for the fact they had gone through this exact same scenario many times before. “Purpled is downstairs helping your mum make breakfast. Now come on, it’s a big day today!”
Tommy made a noise of confusion, blinking profusely at the harsh bright lights filling hiss vision.
“We’re going to Diagon Alley today, remember?” Techno reminded him from the doorway, rolling his eyes teasingly as Tubbo grabbed one of the blankets from Tommy’s grasp.
The blonde sighed in defeat and sat up, grumbling tiredly, “What time is it?”
Tubbo theatrically raised his wrist to check his non-existent watch, humming in thought, “Around 8am!” he chirped, placing his hands on his hips energetically, bouncing on his heels in pure excitement.
Tommy rubbed his eyes, rolling to the side and falling off the bed.
“Ow.” he said lamely as he hit the ground, twisting his head around to glare half heartedly at the other.
“Don’t look at me like that, you’ve been waiting for this moment for – like – forever. Forgive me for appreciating the subtle art of punctuality.” the brunette responded, an amused grin etched on his face.
Suddenly, Techno leaned away from the doorframe and breathed out a fond sigh, “I’m going to go get breakfast, tell Theseus to hurry up.” he mumbled before quickly disappearing out the door.
Theseus. A nickname that he allowed very few people to call him – and that wasn’t because he disliked it or anything, no, if anything he loved it. But it was reserved for special people, like Technoblade and Purpled. That would be extended to Tubbo too, but he just preferred to use the name Tommy.
Speaking of Tubbo, he had clearly decided he had had enough and pulled Tommy onto his feet, dragging him out the door and into the hallway. “We don’t wanna be late, let’s go eat and then you can go and get changed.”
