The fire crackled and burned brightly in the Gryffindor common room Girlfriend and boyfriend lay on the sofa, underneath a thick blanket, limbs tangled. James lay propped up on the arm of the sofa as lily lay atop him, as their lips dueled in a passionate rhythm. They were still blissfully connected and lily moaned, as James tangled his fingers in her hair and kissed down her neck with soft nips. How lucky she was. It was no secret to her how much other women desired her boyfriend . She was a strong, graceful groffindo woman on the surface, but underneath all that, she had insecurities and sometimes, those insecurities included thoughts that he may grow bored with her or that perhaps she was not suited for him, that maybe a pure blood woman would understand him better. She had seen a few of them some were very beautiful. She knew others had indeed noticed how handsome James was as well. She knew her thoughts were silly. James was committed to her and he loved her deeply. She also trusted him. But those thoughts were still there in the back of her mind.
"I could never, ever love any other woman, except you, my sweet lily . You're the only woman I'll ever want or desire," he told her, causing her to blush.
"Sorry for prying into your thoughts, but your mind is unguarded right now," he added.
"I know. There's never any need for me to hide anything from you. And I know that you're in love with me. I guess I'm just in awe sometimes that you want me, You could have any woman you want. You're so brave and I just fear that maybe you feel that I don't understand. I haven't experienced some of the things you have," she said.
"But you understand me better than anyone, because you love me. I'm different from other pure bloods well so is Sirius James added “but he can’t have you because I love you , Trust me when I say that no one understands me like you do, but if you want me to, I will tell you every day that I love you ,I’ll tell you all the gory stuff or the boring detentions that I’ve had over the years if you promise not to fall asleep while I bore you to tears with the details," he said, making her giggle.
"Promise?" Lily asked. James cupped her cheek.
"I will do anything to make you happy," he told her. She smiled and kissed him.
As for any other women, whether they are other pure bloods or half bloods, Half-Veela or muggle born like yourself they will always pale in comparison to you. You're my girlfriend , the love of my life, and…you're stuck with me for eternity, because I'll never let you go," he said.
