Borne again
Loki lay peacefully on the warm grass of Asgard, under the cool shade of the willow tree, next to Sigyn, playing with his beloved wife's hair.
Most Vikings believed that golden hair was a measure of beauty, and this was what made Loki a popular companion among Vikings, both male and female, especially mortals; the mortals were very fond of Loki.
Sigyn did not have golden hair, Sigyn's was chestnut brown, but still, every time Loki looked at Sigyn's face, he felt his legs weaken and tremble.
"You really like playing with my hair, don't you?"
Sigyn asked Loki with a soft, playful laugh; Loki smiled mischievously and said, "Oh, of course I will, my dear, I'm not one to turn down a good game..." Sigyn chuckled at Loki's words and then with a mischievous grin pinned Loki to the ground and said, "You, you cunning snake..."
Loki blushed and grinned deeply and wrapped his arms around Sigyn's waist and said in a seductive tone, "My dear, you're making me blush..." Sigyn raised his eyebrows and asked, "Really?..." Sigyn continued with a grin, "You know, I was thinking that having a baby might be nice..." Sigyn simply said, "We already have two playful boys, and the birth was really painful..."
Of course Loki knew how painful childbirth was, Loki had given birth before, and yes, they were two. They had dear sons, Narfi and Vali, Loki's pride and hope...
Loki sighed softly and said, "You know exactly what I mean, my dear, I meant that maybe it wouldn't be bad to have another one, maybe a girl this time..., you know, I really want to have another girl, you know how dear Hel is to me right now, what could be better than having another beautiful girl.....?!"
Siggen smiled lovingly but before he could answer, their peaceful moment was broken by the arrival of Odin with the other gods.
Suddenly, their entire peaceful space froze like Loki's living space.
Odin said softly and angrily, "Loki!, you killed my dearest son and now you must pay the price....!"
___
A few days had passed since Loki had realized he had been reborn; at first Loki was so tired and angry at having to live and endure again that he cried as much as he could, his vision blurred. At first he thought that perhaps the effects of the poison in this world were still affecting his eyes, but then he remembered how one of the Asgardian doctors had explained to him when Narfi and Valibandi had come that babies couldn't see very well at first, so the snake venom theory quickly expired.
Fortunately, his hearing was just as sharp as before, and in these few days he had learned that the names of his new parents were Lucius and Narcissa; their names were strange and unfamiliar to Loki, but Loki couldn't judge, since he himself was one of the few gods who enjoyed giving strange names to his children.
Loki was still having a bit of trouble eating, but he tried not to think about it too much.
__
Lucius and Narcissa were wizards....!
After a few months, Loki realized that magic existed in this world (thanks to Odin's beard), which made Loki a little happy. Loki could do magic again, although he was a little annoyed that these two wizards needed wands and sticks for magic.
Loki had done some research; it seemed like this world was divided into two parts, wizards or muggles. Wizards lived in secret all over the world, in different places. Wizards avoided muggles as much as possible, and muggles were mostly unaware of the existence of wizards.
It was a shame, because mortals had always been very intelligent creatures, and Loki thought it would be interesting if wizards and Muggles knew about each other.
There was a chaos that almost tempted Loki to make the Muggles know about wizards when he got a little more power.
However, despite his inner desire for chaos, he decided to control himself. (He was tired enough of the consequences of his chaos)
Another good thing that Thad noticed was that in this world he still had his golden hair, it was still short, but soon he would be able to braid it just like before.
Also, it seemed that in this world his name was Draco, Draco wasn't a bad name, but Loki preferred his own name...
