Note
If you’ve read the fic above (the one that inspired this one) then you should know why I’m writing this. Or, at least infer. The funny thing is I’ve only joined the hololive fandom like 5-6 months ago, so I honestly don’t feel like I’m in a position to make a tribute like this, but here we are.A tribute to Murasaki Shion 🍷

Chapter 1

“You are KING!”

The melodious words resonated and rebounded off the walls of the small closet, although deafened to the girl sitting at the center with headphones over her ears. Her eyes were closed when she said the words, only opening them once the music ringing through her head ceased.

She sighed.

Taking off her headphones, she looked towards the computer in the corner of the room, kneeling down and staring at its bright screen. The details displayed were that of a Goutube channel with the username “Violet Witch,” a numerous amount of music videos lining the page. She didn’t dare let her gaze drift towards the subscriber count before she clicked the “post” button in the top right part of the screen and uploaded her recording.

She exited the closet.

“Shion! Are you ready?”

As soon as the door clicked behind her shut, a faint voice that she recognized coming from downstairs reminded her of her circumstances.

“No…! Gimme a sec…”

“I told you to get ready before 7:00!”

She groaned with only the still air in her room as a witness, her gaze now lazily looking over clutter and piles of trash to find a suitable pair of clothes. She eventually found one, a purple uniform dress alongside long, striped, white thigh highs.

Looking at herself in the bathroom mirror, she grabbed a strand of her own white hair, now engaging in a staring contest with her reflection’s amber eyes.

She pictured a witch hat on her head, slanted and-

“No… they’d just think you’re weird.”

Deep down she wanted to say she didn’t care-

“Shion!”

“Coming!”

“You really need to stop singing every day in the morning. You’re nearly giving mom a heart attack every time you-!”

“Yes, yes, I get it Aqu-tan.”

“Don’t give me that!”

The noisy duo that strolled throughout the streets consisted of a pink haired girl with blue strokes here and there and a white haired girl. The former was pointing accusatively at the latter, while said girl was holding her head, exhausted.

“Mhm…”

The pink haired girl pouted.

“Shion-“

“Aqu-tan.”

They both paused at the usage of the other’s name, thankfully stopping at a car intersection with a red light for people passing by.

“I’m tired, ok… cut me some slack.”

“No! You can’t just-“

“Aqu-tan…”

They turned to look at one another, the white girl known as Shion looking down on the pink haired girl more formally known as Aqua. The latter was visibly upset, while the former retained their languidness from the morning.

“…fine. But we need to talk about this sometime. Please.”

“Mhm.”

“I’m serious! You can’t just scream your lungs out for the rest of your life!”

“Mhm.”

Aqua’s expression dimmed at her lack of effect on her sister.

“…that’s why mom sent us here.”

A delay.

“Mhm…”

The lights turned red on the street, allowing the sisters to continue on their journey to their new high school. Shion’s expression became downcast. Aqua decided to look around the neighborhood. Her eyes spotted a giant building far away, pointing at it while shaking Shion’s shoulder.

“Shion! There it is! Whew, good to know it won’t be far from here.”

The girl in question decided to follow her gaze, giant letters stapled onto the front of the building catching her eye that read…

“Holohigh.”
