Chapter 1

"What a stupid girl", Tom Riddle said coldly, tipping the dead body with the tip of his black shoes. "But helpful, nonetheless."

He straightened his robes. His memories felt both intact, but also very distant, it was as if his last days in school had been just a few days ago, while the whole war seemed a whole distant thing. Either way though was he was aware of all the secrets he had stored one way or another and he wouldn't have an issue working with that.

He looked up then, kinda expecting that little boy with the scar to show up. Tom had been sure he would come trying to stop him, but there was still no sign of him yet. Great, things were going even better than planned, he loved it when that happened. Next step, making sure Hogwarts would be closed, the minster killed and him being voted in the new vacant position.

A smile spread on his lips, before he walked over the corpse over the red head, the basilisk following him.

"Good girl", Tom praised her, "Now go ahead and eat!"

The giant basilisk passed him, moving away on its way to death and destruction, while Tom slowly followed, new plans forming ahead of him, plans with success guaranteed, unlike his insane counterpart.
