Summary
Distinctive rumors surface about Professor Potter and Malfoy, mainly about how they'd look good together. Although, Potter has only learned about these rumors by overhearing a conversation by the bickering of students.

It was just a peaceful morning at Hogwarts per usual. The background noise of the students bickering in the hallways, the aroma of coffee flowing around the air. Harry knew it would be a mess trying to get past the ridiculously long and scattered line of students all around the campus just to get to his classroom, yet he knew this would be a job for his invisible cloak which he dearly used almost everyday to avoid situations like this. He looked through the small crack of the door, before wrapping himself around the cloak. Harry rushed out, walking cautiously around The Great Hall. Although, he overheard something he wished he didn't.

"You know, they wouldn't look so bad together.." Eva chortled.

"Who?" Blake questioned.

"Professor.. Malfoy and Potter." Eva chimed, smiling mischeviously.

Harry halted in the middle of the room, his eyes widening at the conversation he just eavesdropped on. He took a deep breath, thinking of whether to inform Malfoy about this or not. Harry had rushed off into the hallway that shown 3 separate classrooms, one being Malfoy's current period. Harry took off his cloak immediately, wishing it away with a flick of his wand. The firm voice of Malfoy could be heard just a few steps away, as a drop of sweat trickled down his neck. He appeared at the doorway of Malfoy's classroom, noticing how the blonde had teached elegantly - at least that's how he described it. Harry shook his thoughts off, and relaxed his joints as he confronted the professor.

"Draco—" Harry slipped out, remembering an audience of students was just in front of him. He cleared his throat to introduce the blonde properly, "Professor Malfoy.." Harry ringed, his slenderly fingers laying on the wood of the door as he knocked not with much force. "Yes, Professor Potter?" Draco hissed, his eyes that were preying on a student who seemed to be ignoring his lesson suddenly darted across the room to meet his gaze wit Harry's. It was as if Malfoy had noticed Potter's soft voice tone in a heartbeat. "May I talk with you for a moment?" Harry uttered, glancing at the students which some started whispering with a suggestive smirk on their faces. The two's suspected connection was rather popular across Hogwarts, as Draco hushed the class down - before patterning his feet towards Potter. The blonde shut the door now behind him, looking around both ways to clear the coast.

"Draco.. they're shipping us!" Potter exclaimed, in a slight anxious tone as his eyes trailed against Malfoy with nervousness.

"Who?" Malfoy asked, as he maintained his calm face and mood.

"The kids! They think we look good together.." Harry's neck itched, as he fixed his glasses.

"And? I don't have time for this, Potter. I have a class to attend to. If you don't think we do, I suppose we call it off." Draco hissed, rolling his eyes as he turned his back on the brunette - slamming the door, returning to his class with a temper that'd break soon enough.

"Wait, I didn't mean!.." Harry reached out to grab Draco, although he didn't grasp the blonde in time - the sound of a loud door slam echoing through his eardrums.

It's been countless days since this certain talk happened, and during those days.. Malfoy hadn't interacted with Harry one bit. Every time Harry walked up to Draco, the blonde had ignored him and wander off somewhere where the brunette couldn't nag him. Potter even attempted to write a letter, using his owl Hedwig. Yet, Malfoy had recognized his handwriting immediately by the first word of his letter and didn't bother to read anything. Draco swished the letter away as his wand directed it towards the nearest trash can. Maybe a week had passed by.. and Harry was just *itching* for Draco's touch. He missed everything, even the hiss of his voice. Just this one day, in The Great Hall. They were seated beside each other, eating portions of their meal. Potter hadn't touched even a bit of his dish, the utensils weren't even tracked with one finger of his.

He suddenly rose up, standing Malfoy up as he grabbed him by the neck of his robe. Harry pulled him in, landing a desperate and passionate kiss on the professor's lips. Before breaking away as he whispered warmly into Malfoy's ear. "I love you, you idiot. And I don't care who knows." Harry said it with a tone of fierceness yet in an endearing way. Malfoy suddenly chuckled, taken aback by this sudden idea of Potter's. Draco grasped his waist with both his hands, "You just let everyone know, Potter." the blonde muttered, before kissing him again as he clutched Harry's waist lovingly. Their kiss was let go as a sudden noise of throat clearing made them flinch. It was Professor McGonagall. "I don't think this is an appropriate venue to be doing this deed, professors." The two took slow breaths, relaxing their bodies as they turned to Minerva. The students were all gathered at The Great Hall at this specific time, most of them flabbergasted as the others were bickering with mischief. "Yes, uh.. we apologize, Professor McGonagall." Harry nodded slightly, his hand interlocked with Draco's. The two had left dinner early, as they strut off somewhere secluded.

The week after, practically the whole school knew about their relationship - not that they discriminated it or anything. But everytime one of the two professors had class, the classroom was filled with whispering and whatnot. They were proud of their engagement, as the two were to be seen openly offering their love towards each other in publicity. Holding hands, soft and small kisses on each other's cheeks, the usual stuff most couples do. Although, they decided it was best that they don't call each other of petnames. The two stuck with "Potter" and "Malfoy" instead, keeping it a formal bond.
