In case you didn’t see it in the title and summary, this is not a fic!!!!!! I’d love it if someone could write a fic based on this or know of fics that are like this!
As I said in the summary, various people reacting to the people who went to school with the golden trio.
Oliver Wood’s new team being shocked that he isn’t freaked out about something that happens in a game and him just saying he went to school with Harry and describing some of the games from when he was at Hogwarts.
People from Harry’s year training to be aurors and their trainers being confused by their blasé attitude towards the danger. Their trainers shooting spells at them randomly in the middle of class to catch them off guard and they don’t even react besides ducking slightly or shooting up a quick protego.
Even a random Hufflepuff just casually telling stories from their time at school and the people around them being shocked. Like, “what do you mean there was a troll and people were petrified, and an escaped murderer broke in? Are you okay???” And the Hufflepuff just being so calm about it.
Someone, maybe Neville, trying to get a mastery in Herbology and casually talking about how certain plants can be used on the battlefield and to kill others. The master they are training with just looks at them horrified while they are just casually talking about how quickly and effectively certain plants can kill. Maybe even have Professor Sprout talking with other herbology lovers and she mentions how she killed a dozen death eaters with her plants. Like its just after the final battle and they are repairing Hogwarts, so she goes to get more plants to replace the ones killed when the greenhouses were destroyed.
People getting super concerned about the extremely fatalistic humor that they have developed. Like the people who went to school with the trio making jokes about death and comparing which near death was better, joking about the petrifications, and having dark humor because they fought in a war before they were old enough to legally apparate.
