Wands and Wheels

Rio De Janeiro, Abandon Wearhouse

"So, let me get this straight," Roman stood up from the crate he was on. "So, you're a witch with a magic wand? Like Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?"

Severa sighed, her patience wearing thin. She stood in the warehouse as the team gathered around her, their expressions ranging from confusion to curiosity. Dom had spent the morning convincing her that revealing her secret wouldn't change anything, but now that she was here, facing the team, she wasn't so sure.

"Yes, Roman," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "I'm a witch, and I use a wand for my spells."

Tej raised an eyebrow, leaning against a workbench. "So, can you, like, make stuff appear out of thin air? Or turn us into frogs?"

Severa rolled her eyes. "If you piss me off, I'll gladly turn you into a frog."

The team chuckled, the tension easing a bit. Roman threw his hands up in mock surrender. "Okay, okay, no need to get froggy on us. We get it, you've got skills."

Brian stepped forward, looking serious. "Alright, jokes aside. How can we use your magic to get into that police station? We need a solid plan."

Severa nodded, grateful for the shift back to business. "I can use a Disillusionment Charm to make us blend into our surroundings. It won't make us completely invisible, but it will make it much harder for anyone to see us. I can also use spells to unlock doors and disable security systems."

Dom added, "And if things go south, Severa can create a distraction or shield us." Severa shook her head as she took a step forward. This was wrong, the plan shouldn't have to change just cause they knew what she could do.

"I say we just stick to the plan, I'll get eyes inside so you can find the make and model of the vault, but...the plan should stay the same." Dom looked at Severa, considering her words carefully. "Alright, we'll stick to the original plan. But having you ready to use your magic if things go wrong is still a good backup."

Brian nodded in agreement. "We need to be flexible, but you're right. We stick to the plan."

Severa felt a sense of relief. They were a team, and they trusted each other. She stepped back, letting the others finalize the details. As they did, she reached up her sleeve and pulled out her wand, twirling it in her fingers as she glanced at the uniform Mia had given her to blend in.

Rio De Janeiro, Police Station

Severa walked out of the elevator with the box in hand as she made her way up to the front desk.

The lady looked up at her, her big red glasses standing out as Severa placed the box on the counter. "Hey, I love your glasses, so...red." The lady behind the desk smiled, adjusting her vibrant glasses. "Thank you! They're my favorite pair. What can I do for you?"

Severa glanced around, ensuring no one was within earshot. "I have a delivery that I need to put in the back." 

The lady's smile fell as she moved away while the man behind her took a step forward and raised a brow. "How are you, Sir?" She reached into her pocket and pulled out the badge Brian gave just with her face, and flashed it at the man. "Special Agent O'Conner, U.S Federal Bureau of Investigation."

The man leaned against the glass before looking her up and down. "It Say's Caucasian." She froze for a minute before playing along. "Oh, it's a type-o. You know, should just say 'Asian'."

The man gave her a blank look,  really not believing her lie. "Look, I'm working this case, and I got some evidence here to be held." She held up the box. "But I need to get in and check your storage facility first."

The man was really starting to piss her off the way he stared at her blankly so she decided to up the temp. "Look, Sir, I know you're probably eager to go home to the lucky woman who managed to bag you, but I'm just trying to do my job...." She fluttered her eyelashes and pushed her chest together as she watched his eyes dart around.

"N-No one enters the facility but authorized evidence personnel." He fixed the collar of his shirt as he struggled to look her in the eyes. "I'm going to have to call the embassy."

Severa quickly piped up and moved the box to the drop box area. "It's ok, you don't need to call them." She pushed the box into the drop-off hole and nodded at the man. "It's all good, have a great day."

She made her way back to the elevator but not before casting a wandless stinging hex on the man. The man winced and scratched at his arm as Severa walked away, a smug smile tugging at her lips. She felt a surge of satisfaction as she entered the elevator and pressed the button for the ground floor. The box was inside, and now all she had to do was let Tej do his thing.

As the elevator doors closed, she took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart. The mission was far from over, but for now, the hardest part was done. She exited the building and headed towards the van where Brian and Tej were waiting.

When she climbed in, Tej was already driving his little remote camera car. She watched as he drove it, horribly, through the room until he saw the vault. "Bingo."

He started going off on everything about the vault, from the metal to the size. Brian glanced at her before he spoke up. "Do I wanna know how you know all that?" Tej shook his head and went back to the vault. 

"She's a beauty." Severa leaned over his shoulder to see what exactly he found 'a beauty'. "A beauty as in good?" He shook his head and started moving the camera angle. 

"Beauty' as in she gonna start off playin' hard to get." Severa raised a brow, not sure where he was going with this. "Then no matter how much I caress her, no matter how much I love her, in the end, she still won't give up that ass."

Brian chuckled as Severa just stared at Tej in shock, she had no idea muggle men were this... inappropriate. Brian moved back up to the driver's seat and started the van while Tej started typing away on his computer.
