Discovering Wolf

The topic of Remus's disappearances had become something of an inside joke to the other marauders. They'd long accepted that Remus was never going to tell them where he was really going all the time, so they amused themselves by coming up with increasingly outlandish scenarios to explain his mysterious monthly journeys from the castle.One day they confront Remus with one of these theories, expecting him to laugh and shake his head like he always does. Instead, they find out far more than they ever expected to.(Or: how the marauders found out that Remus is a werewolf.)

Officially back on my marauders bullshit! Since all my marauders works are part of the same series, this does take place in the same timeline as "The Howler" and its sequel, but since it takes place in 2nd year it can absolutely stand on its own and you don't have to read the other works in this series. (That being said, I would really appreciate it anyway, since The Howler is one of my favorite things I've ever written)."The Marauders find out Remus is a werewolf" has always been one of my very favorite HP tropes, but I've never found one that was quite what I imagined, so I finally decided to try my hand at writing one myself.
