Writing Prompts
Summary
Collections of prompts to hopefully inspire someone to write, because I've written down literally hundreds (though it will take me a while to move them all here). Each chapter is a different fandom.

SilverHawks

1) Copper Kidd and Mayday pull a prank on Stargazer and get grounded. It's worth it.

2) Melodia and Bluegrass bump into each other in neutral territory. They start chatting. This happens more than once. They accidentally become frenemies.

Alt:

* SilverHawks/Mob: "No, that is not normal banter, that is called flirting."

* Bluegrass/Melodia: "No it– omigod it is."

3) The Fighting Hawks can all talk telepathically with each other. Tally-Hawk is very much over her robotic counterparts' shit. (Chat fic stylez)

4) One of the Mob defects to the SilverHawks' side, possibly out of necessity after being taken prisoner.

Bonus: It's Yes-Man. He's overly subservient and scared of punishment. The SilverHawks' kindness throws him for a loop.

5) When Yes-Man snaps and secretly builds himself up as a Mob boss, the SilverHawks must work with Mon*Star to defeat him.

6) Bluegrass and Steelheart flirt with each other a lot, but they don't mean anything by it... Until they do.

7) The SilverHawks get a medical officer. (AKA, let's add another girl to the team).

8) Once upon a time, Windhammer was a slave. Mon*Star freed him. Now he's part of the Mob. His life's not good, but it's better.

A story of complicated morality and even more complicated loyalty.

9) Droids are second-class citizens. Money is power, power makes people afraid; all Pokerface really wants is to be free, but he'll settle for being feared instead.

10) One of the SilverHawks thinks about someone they left behind on Earth. (Significant other, parent, friend, sibling, etc)

11) A civilian from Limbo joins the SilverHawks in a support role. Maybe they're an alien, maybe they're a droid.

12) One of the Mob gets sick. Yes-Man takes care of them. Their previously dismissive attitude towards him begins to soften.

Bonus: He really likes to cook but almost never gets to do it, so cooks them something to help with their illness.

13) Mimes are creative but not typically colorful. Copper Kidd's different, and he's fascinated by things like colorful clothing.

Bonus/alt: Copper Kidd learns to paint.

14) The SilverHawks bonding during training on Earth, both before and right after becoming cyborgs.

15) Copper Kidd gets amnesia and is convinced by the Mob that he's one of their tech experts. He's uneasy about the situation, but of course can't remember why.

Bonus: He actually bonds with one of the Mob (Yes-Man by being nice, Hardware by being smart/destructive, Melodia/Windhammer just cause...), potentially either redeeming them or causing angst when he leaves.

Bonus bonus: This goes on for YEARS. The SilverHawks mourn Copper Kidd's 'death' while dealing with the Mob's upgrades, trying to figure out who their mysterious new tech guy is, but they can't because he's always kept hidden...

16) Copper Kidd gets turned human while the others get turned into Mimes. He soon begins to wonder how none of them have ever shot him, considering how frustrating it is for a human to try to understand Mimespeak.

(Or at least he finds it increasingly frustrating)

17) The SilverHawks have a talent show to boost morale, and of course Bluegrass sings... Except he messes up and runs off in embarrassment. One of the others goes to comfort him.

18) 5 moments of bonding between the SilverHawks and their Fighting Hawks, + 1 moment where the Fighting Hawks bonded with each other.

Alt: Or literally just anything about the characters hanging with their robo tweeties...

19) Copper Kidd grew up in a space station around his home planet. He's never spent much time on the ground. Bluegrass decides to take him camping.

Bonus: Copper Kidd experiences a storm for the first time during the trip, and discovers a fear of lightning. Bluegrass wraps him in a blanket, has him hold Mayday, and tells him stories to distract him.

20) Bluegrass introduces Copper Kidd to S'Mores, and learns that Mimes have a rather strong instinct to hunt for bugs.

Possibly related to above prompt.

21) Something makes the world run by the rules of a musical. Bluegrass and Melodia are the most functioning on their respective teams during this.

Bonus: Bluegrass and Melodia are the only ones who can fix things, and must team up.

A la the best episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. My sister, Venus, gave me the idea.

22) Bluegrass and Copper Kidd have a fight that ends in them avoiding each other, and now both think that the other wants to discontinue their lessons.

Bonus: the others notice their depressed states and trick/force them on a mission alone together so they can talk it out.

23) The ride between Earth and HawkHaven. The twins talk football, Bluegrass takes request unless it's to stop playing, the Kidd has ALL the questions, and Quicksilver just wants to think in peace.

24) After getting upset over not being able to properly communicate something, Copper Kidd learns about Sign Language.

25) Years before canon, Stargazer scours Limbo in search of people who can remodel his office. No offense to Earth Command, but grey metal walls are so boring.

How did Stargazer apparently make his office look like an old-timey private eye's without anyone knowing? Let's find out...

26) When Bluegrass first offered to teach Copper Kidd how to fly, what was running through his head? And what was running through the Kidd's?

27) After being tortured by Melodia, the Kidd develops melophobia (fear of music). Can Bluegrass help him get over it?

Alt: After being tortured by Melodia, Bluegrass develops melophobia. Can the musical cowboy ever get his groove back, or is Hotlicks doomed to collect dust?

28) Mon*Star was once a slave, but his Masters made the mistake of letting their little monster grow far too powerful. Now he will be the master of all of Limbo.

29) The twins like coffee too much. The others try to make them cut back. The twins have not had nearly enough coffee to pay attention to this nonsense.

Bonus: (Un)luckily, Copper Kidd's already dismantled the coffee maker for unrelated reasons.

30) Mon*Star is gender flipped and has a kid. Why? Because I accidentally wrote his name as Mom*Star. XD

31) Copper Kidd's growth is stunted due to the enhancements, leaving his face as the only part of him that will naturally mature. He has some angst over his height.

32) A virus or whatever that drives sapient species feral hits Copper Kidd. Now the other SilverHawks have to catch what amounts to a hyper-intelligent yet rabid squirrel child before he destroys HawkHaven.

33) When an experimental SilverHawks transformation facility is built in Limbo, the Mob breaks in and gets turned into cyborgs.

34) Droids are second class citizens, beneath bios. No one can quite figure out where the SilverHawks fit in, and are not helped by the fact that said cyborgs don't seem all that interested in figuring it out.

AKA: the Hawks are nice to everyone and it's really confusing to native Limbonians.

35) Yes-Man gets injected with Truth Serum.

Result A: He tells off Mon*Star

Result B: Everyone expects A, but it turns out he really does agree with everything Mon*Star says.

36) Copper Kidd learns to juggle. Now he won't stop.

37) An alternate universe where the SilverHawks are evil and the Mob are good, but everyone still has (almost) the same personalities and dynamics.

Bonus: The characters from the canon universe go to the alt verse, or vice versa.
