1) Years after they retired, Jesse and James are captured by the larger Team Rocket, leaving their kids and Pokémon to save them.
Bonus: Meowth had a falling out with them and hasn't seen them in years, but still helps rescue them.
2) When Jessie and James share a close/romantic moment, James is suddenly reminded of Jessebelle and has a panic attack/flashback.
