Chapter Five
In the morning there is awkward blushing and adjusting of limbs as they get comfortable in the small bed. Snape gets up to make coffee and he brings a steaming mug back to her. She sits up in bed to drink it, and they share a small smile.
They look out the window at a vast whiteness. The ground is covered by several inches of snow, and skeletal branches reach high to the sky. Snape says that it is safe enough to Apparate back to Hogwarts. Hermione feels a little sad at this -- as if she doesn't want this perfect, private moment between the two of them to end.
As if he can read the emotion in her eyes, Severus takes her coffee cup, and sets it on the bedside table. Drawing her back to lie down, he cuddles her close and strokes her hair. Hermione closes her eyes. She wants to stay like this forever.
Their snuggling turns to making out, and not long after that their pajamas are on the floor again and Hermione is naked in Severus Snape's embrace. He hovers above her, rubbing at her clit.
"Come live with me, Hermione Granger," he whispers as she moans in pleasure. "I can't be without you. I love you."
She reaches up to touch his face. "And I love you too, Severus Snape."
In a sigh of ecstasy he enters her once more.

They finally disentangle themselves from each other and the bedsheets and clean up and get dressed. Together they fix a quick breakfast of toast, sausage, and eggs. And they find that they're constantly chattering -- sharing dreams, hopes, and plans for the future. They decide that Hermione will move into Severus Snape's rooms at Hogwarts later that day.
"Minerva will have an I-told-you-so look on her face, I know she will," Severus predicts.
Laughing and so very much in love, Hermione and Severus clasp hands and Apparate away.
In a minute or two, the cabin itself Vanishes.
And nothing is left but snow and silence.
