Posh boys

The Hogwarts express left King’s Cross at exactly 11 o clock on the 1st of September. Luckily for him, Albus had managed to not attract too much attention while boarding - so far.

He searched for an empty carriage in the hopes of not being judged before he even got through the great halls doors. Deep down though, Albus was the extroverted sort and this didn't suit him one bit. That’s why when he couldn’t find one he felt a little bit of joy.

He turned on his heels at the end of the corridor when he saw a group of boys laughing and pointing inside of a carriage. Being the nosy boy he'd always been, he peeked through a gap and saw the boy they were laughing at. He had dirty blonde hair, long and layered with fair skin and the oddest navy blue eyes. However, his skin was the slightest bit green with scars, like he was about to vomit. It almost made albus turn around and find another carriage but he stayed.

“Oh leave it please” he said to the rowdy lot who were slowly advancing on him. “Come on it’s the first day” he murmured still not looking nervous surprisingly, he had an odd sort of confidence about him which made him seem a bit thick Albus thought. Nevertheless, first impressions start now and he needed to be seen as a hero, not a villain.

“Why don’t you leave him alone?” He said, cocky and chin held high, “what are you going to do about it?” The assumed leader of the group turned around. He was about the same age by the looks of it, he had sleek black hair, smooth tan skin and emerald green eyes that seemed so evil and beautiful at the same time.

“ Doge here can enjoy a little laugh can’t he?” He said nudging him on the shoulder. “He doesn’t seem to find it very funny”
Albus responded, getting quite frustrated now. “Oi, Asshole get lost” a voice came from behind them, it was a girls voice but very unlike the prim posh way most girls he met did but in a cockney accent. Very unladylike he thought, but bloody well brilliant.

“Ada- come back-“ said another boys voice quite whispered but loud. It sounded more posh but you could tell he was from the same place as the girl. “Oh shove off Chandler, also lose the accent you sound like a rich twat” she snapped back at him. “Oh so a girl thinks she knows better than us” said the same boy with the green eyes “yeah I do actually” she replied “Ada-stop” chandler pleaded but it was too late, Ada had already punched him right in the face. His nose bled onto her hand, then wiped it on one of the other boys cream suit. After that they all scrambled away.

“Good riddance, I’m Ada ‘ow bout you lot” she said looking at Albus and the blonde boy. “Albus Wulfric Percival Brian Dumbledore” he said with the same idiotic confidence. “Ok show off, careful you don’t end up like them lot” said Ada, pointing at the blood stain on the floor, she had a cheeky smile across her face though, which told him she wasn’t serious.

“Elphias Doge” the other boy said. “Im Ada Rudwearle if you wanna be fancy and this weirdo is my twin brother, chandler” “Ada, we’ve been on this train for 15 minutes and you’ve already got yourself in it” he said. “Oh shove it, posh boys like them’ve only got money goin’ for em” “ur, doge do you mind if we sit here” she said already sitting across from him. “Not at all” he said knowing he didn’t really have a choice.

“So, Elphias if you don’t mind me asking, why are you a bit, well - green ?” Albus asked, clearly trying his hardest to seem nice. “Oh, I caught dragon pox over the summer, nasty thing” he replied, looking a bit embarrassed. “What does it matter if he’s green anyway?” Chandler asked seeing this “Oh I didn’t mean to offend him” Albus responded, slightly irritated with chandler. Chandler just looked away back into the book he was reading. “So, what houses do you guys think you’ll be in?” Said Elphias, trying to break the awkward silence. “Gryffindor,” Albus said without hesitation “not a doubt in my mind” “how are you so sure?” “I wouldn’t, work in any other house, I’m sure of it. What about you?” He asked, clearly not showing much interest in what Elphias’ answer would be “ Hufflepuff, or Gryffindor - that’s what my parents were in.” “so you’re a pure blood, right?” Chandler said, looking up from his book. “A what blood now - and what the bloody hell are houses?” Ada finally blurted out.
