"Bye mate" Ron said clapping Harry on the back.
"Yeah bye Ron" Harry replied distantly, watching as Ginny stood at the door laughing with Sirius. Ron apparently noticed and rolled his eyes at his best mates antics.
"Hey Harry" Ginny said walking up to him after Ron had walked away.
"H-hey Gin" Harry stuttered.
"We'll see you on the platform ok?" Ginny told him as she kissed his cheek.
"Yeah" Harry replied, blushing.
As Harry watched them disappear he could only sigh, he needed to get over this! Ron was his best mate, and Ginny probably didn't even like him anymore anyway, so why is he still so caught up on her. Well he knew what it was, it was the bloody hair! The way it shined and glistened in the sunlight as she walked, and tipped her head back, laughing at something someone had said. The way it smelled like strawberries and sunshine on a summer evening, and was always silky and smooth when he hugged her. Oh merlin how he loved that hair.
Someone cleared their throat causing Harry to jump and turn at the sound.
"ok there Prongs jr." Sirius asked as he smirked.
"Mhm why wouldn't I be" Harry said as he ruffled his hair.
Sirius barked a laugh "Just like your father" he said with a twinkle in his eyes. "Ruffling up his damn hair every time he got caught looking at lily flower"
"Wha-what are you talking about uncle Siri?" Harry asked, pretending not to know what he was talking about.
"Sure Harry, Sure" He grinned. After a moment he said "Y'know ive been in this same situation about 15 years ago"
"Wait my dad had a sister?"
Sirius chuckled "Well sort of"
"What was her name"
"Marlene Mckinnon"
"So what'd you do about it?"
Sirius sighed "Well to understand, I have to start from the beginning"
