Best laid plans and Goblin magic
Eventually after several more minutes of discussion Andromeda and Gabrielle’s Grandmother reach a understanding earning Harry another hug from Gabrielle almost strong enough to shatter his bones. But before they can depart, the goblin insists that he must speak with Heir Potter-Black and his regent alone, much to the annoyance of Gabrielle, who is unhappy at losing her Harry shaped cuddle toy, something that Harry finds amusing as much as he tries to hide it from the blonde girl lest he finds him on the wrong end of her ire.
Once they're alone in the Goblin's office just off the corridor Andromeda had cleared in her haste to reach Harry they are formally introduced as he identifies himself as Primarch Ragnark, 4th Son of Ragnok the current head Gringotts Goblin and current head goblin of the European Goblin Nation.
After the abbreviated social niceties that all goblins seem to prefer Ragnark then informs them that his earlier statements on discovering what magic's Harry had been using were only a half truth, in truth the goblins knew what form of magic Harry had called upon because it had caused a physical upheaval within the magic wellspring of their bank and in addition to setting off every alarm they had, it also activated the transport measures on several vaults which had suddenly appeared within the deepest bowels of the bank.
Normally this would be a major problem as the need to identify and return these vaults would be at significant fiscal burden for whomever had caused their relocation and that was before the goblins extracted their blood price for unauthorised magic within Gringotts halls, but Ragnark informs them in this case given the threat to multiple members of the peerage and Harrys status as heir to a major line that has been declared Goblin friends as Heir Gryffindor this shall be waved on condition that Harry submits to allowing the Goblins to run a full magical assessment of him and his lines.
Normally this sort of test is reserved only for the lord of a house, or when malfeasance is detected within a line's inheritance and involves the wixen involved spilling their blood into a testing vessel with that vessel then being used to identify their status within their bloodlines and the presence of any magics external or internal within their core. It was this test that the Wizengamot had ruled illegal on British soil at the end of the last wizarding war due to too many pure bloods having uncomfortable questions over what it might show regarding their ties to Voldemort, that Dumbledore the Leader of the Light in Great Britain had also supported its outlawing on grounds of Blood Magic being Dark Magic had ensured that it could not be offered or performed in Magical Great Britain. Unfortunately for the Wizengamot and the Chief Meddler in particular this rule only applied in Magical Great Britain as the rest of the ICW, MACUSA, and other magical nations took a completely different view of Blood Magic, except where it was necromantic or sacrificial.
After several more minutes of discussion eventually Harry agrees to undertake this test, sure that it won’t tell them anything that they don’t already know and arguing that it is better to spill a little of his blood than wear what he can assume are going to be extreme financial reparations from the goblin nation. Andromeda while not happy does eventually allow this, between Harry's argument and her own desire to ensure that the son she has lost for nearly a decade is healthy she really can’t disagree, especially given the history that she and Harry's mother have with blood magic.
With their consent achieved Ragnark produces a glowing basin formed of crystal and with silver and gold strands flowing through it as Viridian runes glow within. A few moments later he also draws forth a brilliant silver and bronzium dagger before handing it to Harry.
No stranger to pain Harry quickly takes the blade and without hesitation slashes it across his palm, watching as a river of his own blood flows into the basin. His actions earn him an approving looks from Ragnark even as Andromeda pales but before anyone can do anything the cut on his hand heals and the torrent f his lifeblood stops.
Andromeda, finally having recovered from the sight of watching Harry slash himself open without a care, asks in a crackling voice, "What the hell Harry? What were you thinking? You could have bled to death,"
Obviously, this question annoys the goblin, but before he can speak, Harry says, "its ok; the Blade told me it wouldn't let that happen, and objects, objects do not lie as people do."
This causes Andromeda to pull up short at the surety in his voice even as Ragnark nods approvingly at his statement making a mental note that this young wizard already seems to have a good head on his shoulders. After a few moments more, Andromeda manages to ask "ok, it's just that scared me Harry. I only just found you I don't want to lose you again. Next time before you do something like that can you please at least tell me first?"
Harry seeing the worry in his aunts eyes and realising that this really is his Drommy desperately trying to keep it together for him nods before leaning over to hug her saying "sorry Drommy, I promise I will warn you next time" earning him a tight hug from his aunt.
Looking away from what he regards as a display of needless emotion Ragnark’s eyes widen as they alight on the glowing crystal basin which is a swirling whirlpool of colours and threatening to bubble over. In a rather hastened attempt to keep the raw magic contained within from bubbling over and melting through his desk the goblin practically throws a roll of parchment into the bowl watching as the magic soaks into the parchment and turns it from the standard Gringotts yellow parchment to a roll of silvery and gold metal with peaks of colour appearing throughout. Momentarily stunned by this display the goblin doesn't notice that Harry and Andromeda have finished their emotional moment and are themselves looking at the roll of parchment that is starting to softly glow as it absorbs the magic harry had spilled with his blood.
When the parchment has finished absorbing the magic, the goblin carefully extracts it from the basin, unfurling the sheet of what appears to be mithril with elaborate decorative markings and crests pressed into it in different colours. After a moment of his inspection, the sheet straightens itself and then locks into place like a plaque. After a few more moments reading Ragnark’s face proceeds to darken and then after pulling several more sheets of parchment from his desk he holds each up against the plaque and taps one nail to the corner. The plaque pulses and seconds later each parchment holds a copy of the plaque which he quickly rolls up and then places a bright yellow and red band around before putting it in a sealed box at the corner of his desk which produces a pulse of light and small ping.
Turning back to the pair of wixen before him the goblin steels his expression as he says "you should read this for yourselves" before handing them the plaque and Together, they both start to read
