Number Four Privet Drive

Rosie woke to dust falling on her face, as the cubby rattled with her Aunt Petunia banging on the door to her cubby. "Up! Get up BOY." Rosie tried not to wince at the word. She picked the book off her face, and placed it into the chest. Grabbing her glasses, Rose got up.

As her cousin ran down the steps stomping on them causing dust to fly every where. "Wake up cousin! We're going to the zoo!" She'll know why the Dursley's drag her out to Dudley's brithday outings (probably just rub in the fact they hate her for her magic).

Roselyn walked into the kitchen and started making breakfast for her relatives. She gazed on the many presents her cousin got, buying that many presents would have cost rent of the house for a few months. The reason why the Dursley's weren't drowning in debt was because of her money, that was suppose help raise her all went to the Dursley's and their reckless spending and spoilsing themselves.

It was July soon it would be September, soon she'll be eleven and she could go to Hogwarts and learn real magic. She just needed to survive another month. Then it'll be September, and her Hogwarts acceptance letter.

Roselyn looked through the glass at the boa contractor, as Dudley got more and more red. "Make it move!" He demanded.

"Move!" Uncle Veron knocked agains't the glass while Dudley slamed the glass.

"MOVE!" Seeing the snake wouldn't do as he damained Dudley moved on towards another exitbit. Rose glanced as her relatives walked away.

"Sorry about him" Roselyn apologized. "He just dosen’t understand what it's like lying there day after day. Watching people press their ugly faces in on you. Blame his horrible parents for that."

"I do not mind young sssspeaker." Rose's eyes widen in suprise as the snake spoke back to her.

"Can, Can you hear me?"

"Yesss, you sssspeak the langue of the ssserpentsss."

"Itmust be my magic, my parent's were a wizard and witch. I'll start learning how to cast magic myself." Rose explained, figuring that it was her magic acting up. "Burma is your native home isn't it? Was it like there? Have any family?"

"No I do not know my family as I was born into this glassss cage, young sssspeaker." The snake gestured to the sign saying that the snake was born into captivity.

"I sorry to hear that, I never knew my parents, either." Rose said before being pushed to the ground by Dudley.

"Mummy, dad, Come here! You won't believe what this snake is doing!" Dudley pushed his face against the glass. Rose glared at the boy. She always hated how the treated her. Then the glass disappeared, and since Dudley had his face pushed up agasn't the glass his enormous weight caused him to fall in.

Now that the glass was gone, it allowed the contractor to escape it's encloser. Facing Rosie once more it said "Thankssss young ssspeaker."

"Any time." Rosie watched in awe as the snake left the reptile house, watching as it caused the panic. Rosie attention was snapped towards her Aunt's sreeched as they glass had reappeared. Trapping Dudley inside, Rosie muffled a giggle at her relevtives faces. But that caused her downfall.

"Get the mail, BOY!" Rose did as such, ever sence the zoo incendent the Dursley's have been more crule then usual. Beating her more regularly, not letting her eat. Her ribs ached as bent down for the letters suffling through them until she saw the last.

Finaly she escape them. She quickly slid it underneath the door to her cubbort handing the rest of the mail her uncle, and then retreating back to her cubbort. She carefully open the wax sell to the letter reading it.

Rosie quickly got out a piece of pracment that she saddly ripped out of her mother's journal, taking a pen and wrote on the chest.

Dear Prof.McGonagall

I would be happy to attened Hogwarts, but I'm afraid my relevtives will never let me go. As they make me do every house chore, and refuse to feed me as if now I'm writting this I have not eaten in a week.

I know my parent's went to Hogwarts as well. And my Aunt resented my mother for it. I don't know the specifics but what I do know is that the money being sent for help raising me is being used to fund their lavage lifestyle while I don't get a penny of it.

I would like for you to intervine, please. As Hogwarts might be my only escape form this life.

From

Rosemary Lily James Potter

P.S. I prefer the name Rosemary now. If you would be so kind as to refer to me as much.

Minerva was horrified, her grip tightened on the parchment. She knew. She knew this would happend and didn't do anything to solve it! She failed. James and Lily's were proboly spinging in their graves for Merline knows how long.

Why didn't she stop Albus when she could. She let her be persuaded leaving the poor b- girl in the hands of muggles that misstreated her all her live! She may have failed Roselyn for eleven years but she will not fail her again!
