Note
Hello everyone! This is my newest story, and I must admit I'm very nervous about posting it because it will be very different from the previous one (*Destiny*).**PLEASE READ THIS NOTE:** I was inspired by one of my favorite Luna/Harry fanfics: *Putting Luna Back Together* (Putting Luna Back Together ). **PLEASE READ THAT FANFIC BEFORE STARTING MY STORY.** You'll only be able to understand what happened in my story by reading that fanfic first. I think it's so good that I didn't see the point in rewriting it.I hope you enjoy this story.Harry Potter does not belong to me.

Epilogue

Two years later

Luna was sitting in the office they had set up after both completed their N.E.W.T.s. She was finishing her current paper to present in the magizoologist course. Even with the babies, as soon as their N.E.W.T. results came out, she enrolled in the course she had always dreamed of.

At first, she had doubts about whether she would really pursue it, because after the war, for a long time she had put aside her love for magical creatures, as it reminded her of her father's abandonment. It was only after much encouragement from Harry and several conversations with Greta that Luna realized she couldn't abandon her dreams because of past experiences. Especially since, although it was slow, her relationship with her father had been restructured.

She usually shared the office with Harry, who had decided to become a professor. He was currently deepening his theoretical knowledge in Defense Against the Dark Arts and undergoing some practical training. He was happy with this choice, and Luna could see his eyes sparkle whenever he tried to explain something he had learned to her. She always listened attentively, fascinated by how naturally good he was at teaching. Sometimes, to complete his training, he traveled to other countries, staying a few days away from home. During those times, Luna, James, and Albus missed him terribly, so when he returned, they wouldn't leave his side.

Harry had just returned from a four-day trip to Germany. When he arrived, in the middle of the night, they wasted no time in tearing off their clothes and making love as if it had been a month, not just four days. Luna had never thought she could have something like this. When she was in his arms, it felt like she was living a dream, but one that was real. She had a family that loved each other so intensely and genuinely; it was a miracle. She would never stop thanking the universe for this blessing.

In the morning, when the twins woke up and found their father, their huge smiles and wet kisses were something precious to watch. The two boys were completely in love with their father, spending the entire day trailing him around the house. Harry loved the attachment of the children, because he himself was deeply in love with them.

That's why Harry decided that day they would have a picnic in the backyard, with snacks he had prepared and brought from Germany. He was already outside with the children, playing with the new toy he had brought, even though Luna had told him he couldn’t buy a new toy every time he traveled to another country. He still brought something back, giving her an innocent look and puppy-dog eyes, which always made Luna give in.

Luna could hear their laughter coming through the window and smiled fondly as she put away the documents and headed downstairs to join them.

The three of them were sitting in the middle of the garden on a large blanket. There was a basket with food inside, and the three boys were playing with a train. They all laughed when the train released smoke. Luna looked at them and once again felt her heart swell. It was unbelievable how much she loved them more and more every time she saw them.

"Are you having fun without me?" She asked as she sat down next to Harry.

"Mama, look at our train!" James said excitedly.

"I see it, it's very beautiful!" She kissed his round cheek.

"Did you finish your work?" Harry asked, wrapping his arm around her waist and kissing her forehead.

"Yes. This one was harder, but I managed." She smiled proudly.

"That's my Ravenclaw." He smiled.

They both sat in silence, watching the two boys play together. They loved doing this, just watching them.

"They’ve grown so fast." Luna said with nostalgia. "One day we were bringing them home."

"Yeah… they were so small. Now they walk on their own and never stop talking." He laughed, listening to the boys talking.

Shortly after, Harry called them. "Boys, now let's put the train away and eat the snack Daddy made."

Luna expected a bit of crying, which always happened when they had to stop playing, but this time they ran to Harry’s lap, excited as if they were going to play.

Luna raised an eyebrow at Harry, but he just shrugged and waved his wand, putting the train back in the box and bringing the food basket closer.

Luna moved, leaving Harry's side and sitting across from him, to help the boys eat. She was busy taking the food out of the basket when Harry called her.

"Lu..."

She looked at him but saw Albus and James standing. James was holding a letter, and Albus a small box. Harry guided them, and they walked over to Luna.

"It’s a gift from Daddy, Mommy." Albus said, handing her the box, and James handed over the envelope.

Luna looked questioningly at Harry, who was smiling shyly. However, his eyes were sparkling with expectation and love, making Luna’s heart skip a beat.

She opened the black box, and her heart leapt, the air leaving her lungs. Her eyes filled with tears. Inside was a golden ring, all braided, with a transparent stone in the center, full of tiny sparkles inside. It was beautiful. Luna looked at Harry, and his eyes were filled with tears as well. Albus and James sat on her lap, quiet, as if they knew this moment was important.

"Open the letter," he said softly.

When Luna opened it, written in Harry's messy handwriting, with the impression of two small hands on the edges, was: WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Luna covered her mouth, her hands trembling, with a few tears falling. She looked at Harry.

"I know we’re young, but I have no doubt that you are the love of my life. I have no doubt that it’s with you I want to share every day of my life. I love you, Luna." His voice didn’t hide the emotion, nor did his eyes, full of love.

"I love you too, Mommy!!" James shouted, raising one little arm in the air.

"I do too!" Albus echoed his brother.

Harry and Luna, despite all the emotion, burst into laughter. Both remembering when they first said they loved each other and how, in that moment, their children also intervened, making them laugh.

"I love you both too." Luna said softly.

Harry looked at her again. His face full of seriousness and tenderness. "Will you marry me?" He asked, his voice thick with emotion.

"Yes." Her voice trembled. "Of course, yes." She leaned in and gave him a soft kiss on the lips. Harry pulled her into a hug, with James and Albus laughing as they were squeezed in the middle.

"Let me put the ring on your finger." He took the little box, removed the ring, and slid it onto her finger. Harry gently kissed the ring on her finger.

"I do too!" Albus stretched out and kissed the ring, followed by James. Luna smiled through her tears.

"You are my whole world." She didn’t hide the affection in her voice.

Later, Luna was sitting between Harry’s legs, leaning against his chest, watching the boys run around the garden with sticks in their hands, pretending they were wands.

"You know…" Harry began to speak in her ear. "It was so beautiful, that whole moment with the boys present, but when they sleep, I intend to show you how happy I am that you said yes." He kissed her neck, making her shiver. "This time, the only thing you’ll be wearing will be the ring." His voice was low and husky, holding a promise.

"I can’t wait." She replied, hoping the boys would sleep earlier this time.
