Princess Aemma

The birth of Aemma Velaryon was fraught with scandal and whispered accusations. After all, Jacaerys Velaryon was a bastard. Who said that the child's sister was not?

But Princess Aemma had been born with the pale skin, violet eyes, and silver hair of the Targaryens.

It was hard to prove whether or not she was a bastard. Especially since Queen Alicent said that the princess couldn't be a bastard since the gods had awarded her with the features of a pure Targaryen, unlike her brother who had the features of a certain captain of the guard. When the princess grew older and her features matured, many whispers were heard.

The fingers were no longer pointed at Hardwin Strong, they were pointed at Queen Alicent Hightower as the other progenitor of Aemma Velaryon. After all, Queen Alicent was an Alpha, while Princess Rhaenyra was a Beta. It wasn't the first time an Alpha woman got a Beta pregnant. And a few still remembered how the Queen and the Princess had been so close that they all thought they would get married.

Until Lord Hightower placed his daughter in the bed of the old King and father of the Beta that his daughter loved.

Many whispered that the Queen and Princess had succumbed to the desires of their youth and Aemma had been the result. The king's hand brought her daughter aside to ask her about the possibility that she was Aemma's mother, and Queen Alicent confirmed her father's suspicions. That made a change in the man's plans, but also made the Queen turn away from him and his plan.

Aemma was her daughter, she would protect her just as she protected Aegon, Aemond and Helaena. Even if she went the distance and couldn't call herself her mother. Even if she had to play a part in front of the court.

Alicent thought and planned how to keep Aemma safe despite the coming conflict and then she went to see her husband to discuss a marriage between Aemma and Aemond. After all, they were close in age and had a good relationship. And unlike Aegon and Helaena, they would not be raised as siblings.

Doubts about the marriage were erased one night shortly after Laena Targaryen's death. Some men tried to kidnap little Aemma and Prince Aemond lost his eye rescuing his niece, although in the end it was the dragons who gave a good account of the kidnappers.

Little Aemma was a natural Omega, a blessing from the gods. It was true that there was a drug that could turn Betas into Omegas, but that was only used by Silk Street prostitutes and the daughters of houses desperate to give birth to an heir. A born Omega was more valuable than gold and precious stones. Entire kingdoms had gone to war over born Omegas.

The Princess feared for her daughter and the next day they flew to Dragon Rock, where they remained for many years. Ravens flew frequently with the correspondence between the two betrothed.

Even in the distance, their hearts grew together

The next time they met, Aemma was already a beautiful young woman and in the prime of her youth. Her long silver hair was wavy like the soft waves that lapped the shores on calm days and hung closer to her knees than her hips, her violet eyes were still large and innocent, and her face had the features similar to that maiden who in the day of her youth she was called the Delight of the Kingdom. Her stature was still small, but it made her feminine curves appear more generous. A gentleman whispered in a low voice to his table companion that those were hips made to give birth and promise heaven to any man who entered between those legs, he was not the only one who thought something similar but he was the only one who expressed it due to his distance of the main table and the sword of Daemon Targaryen.

Prince Aemond took his place at her side because he was her betrothed and to hide her from Aegon's covetous eyes. More than once, in his drunken chatter, Aegon had said that he would kill to be the first to fuck the only Omega born since Maegor Targaryen. And Aemma's appearance only made Aegon's desire grow. And she wasn't just the only Omega born, she was now also an incredibly beautiful young woman with Targaryen features. Much more so than Helaena, whose figure had not recovered since the delivery of the twins and she was still plump and warm.

Aemond had no doubt that the drunken brother would try to steal his beautiful fiancée. Aegon had been like that since they were children. Whenever Aemond wanted something, Aegon had to get it first, break it somehow, then give it to him. He had come by with books, toys, blankets, practice swords, and even food. Queen Alicent had been very concerned about this custom of her son's and had tried to eliminate it, but her attempts were in vain.

His grandfather, Otto, had told Aemond that Aegon did it because he was jealous of how talented Aemond was. He scolded Aemond and told him not to display his talents so much while he coddled Aegon that he smirked at his brother. Aemond thought that this was not a good way to raise a child. His grandfather was doing it to get on Aegon's good side so that he could continue to run the kingdom even during Aegon's reign. His grandfather saw no use in Aemond, just an overly talented second son, a stone for the first son.

Aemond couldn't help but laugh at the irony, since his grandfather was also a too talented second son who had ended up at court because his father did not want him to overshadow his older brother.

Aemma looked at Aemond with the sweetest and most beautiful of smiles and held out her hand for him to place soft kisses on her knuckles. Queen Alicent smiled from the side of the Iron Throne seeing the sweet scene.

It is said that when Vaemond Velaryon was beheaded by Daemon Targaryen, Prince Aemond Targaryen held his betrothed to his chest to prevent her from looking at the spilled blood. Vaemond had called all of his nephews bastards, except his niece. He said that he would marry her, the only daughter of Rhaenyra's Velaryon blood.

After that Princess Aemma and Prince Aemond spent the day strolling through the Red Keep, sitting in the shade of the weirwood tree and looking at the new additions to the library while eating a sweet lemon cake that an old cook had made for them both. knowing that Aemma would go to the fortress.

In the end they separated to go get dressed for dinner that night. Prince Aemond escorted his fiancée to her bedroom so that she could get ready. Although he said that he didn't know how his beautiful fiancée could become even more beautiful than she was at that moment.

Unnoticed by both of them, the eyes of Aegon Targaryen watched them from behind a tapestry that covered one of the many paths used by the servants to move around the fortress. Before he could get out and approach Aemma's room, two golden cloaks appeared and positioned themselves on either side of the door. Aegon gritted his teeth as he gazed into the bedroom where the court's tastiest delicacy would be undressing in those moments and felt his trousers tighten at the thought.

For Aegon Targaryen, his brother did not deserve the first Omega born in more than a hundred years. He didn't deserve to marry his most beautiful sister while he was tied to bland, simple, strange Helaena. Because Aegon knew that Aemma was his sister, his mother's daughter, his grandfather had told him. Aegon would be like the great conqueror, he saw himself as the same as his ancestor. He only needed a second sister to be his wife.

He was an Alpha and if he bit Aemma's neck she would be his wife in the eyes of gods and men. And Aemond would suffer greatly because his fiancée would have been stolen from him by Aegon, a man who was undoubtedly more capable, more powerful and more handsome than he was.

Oblivious to thoughts of her uncle/her brother, Aemma Velaryon looked with satisfaction at the blue dress spread out on the bed. It was Velaryon blue with pearls embroidered around the square neckline and bodice. Her sleeves were similar to the Dorne style, loose from the elbows but with a tighter second sleeve that reached to the wrists and was girdled with gold bracelets. Around her neck she wore a gold necklace that imitated the shape of coral with small pearls set in random places. A tiara similar to her necklace would perch on her locks along with matching earrings, a gift from Queen Alicent that she must have discussed with Corlys Velaryon, for the necklace was a gift from him. The skirt flowed free to the floor where a pair of blue silk shoes awaited.

Tonight Aemma would look more beautiful than she ever had. Daemon who picked her up had to keep from feeling sorry that her beautiful daughter would not return to them. It had been decided that they would stay until Aemma's wedding to Aemond. When Aemma entered the hall for the family dinner Aemond choked on the wine he was drinking and Helaena handed him a handkerchief to dry himself as he blushed at Aemma's laughter. He got up from the table and walked over to her. He proclaimed that without any doubt of her Aemma was the Maiden incarnate, for there was no living thing that better represented youth and beauty than she.

Aemma blushed deeply and sat down next to Helaena. She started to ask the Beta about her twins. Helaena was moved by these questions and began to describe her children. She even mentioned that she was pregnant again. Aemma said nothing about the rumors that the Whitecloaks had to drag Aegon into her sister's room so they could have the second child the queen wanted. Just then the Whitecloaks came dragging Aegon, apparently he had tried to escape to the brothels even tonight.

Aemma shuddered in disgust as Aegon's eyes swept over her body. The Queen wrinkled her nose as she looked at her eldest son with disappointment evident in her eyes. She approached him to whisper to him not to even think of approaching her brother's fiancée. Aegon waved his hand as if his mother was nothing more than an annoying fly buzzing in his ear.

The King arrived and dinner began. There was laughter and jokes, mostly at the expense of the soon-to-be-married couple. Aemond looked proud while Aemma looked flushed sitting between her aunt and her cousins.

King Viserys said that he wanted the wedding to happen before his death and announced that it would be within a week. No one spoke because everyone could see how life escaped from the king like water escaped between the fingers of his hand. The King's forces quickly ran out and everyone watched with concern as he left. After that the fights between the Blacks and the Greens began

Aegon made a comment about when Rhaenyra would hand over the crown to him. In anger, Rhaenyra stated that of Alicent's children, she would only cede the crown to Aemond after marrying Aemma and the two of them having a child of their own. Aegon realized at that moment how his grandfather began to redo his plans and looked at Aemond with new eyes.

---------------------

It is said that the wedding was one of the most beautiful. Many of the things left over from Helaena and Aegon's wedding were used, as well as new decorations. Aemma was a beautiful blushing bride when she was given to Aemond. Around her neck she wore an Omega necklace, an ancient forgotten tradition performed at Valiryan weddings to prevent unborn Omegas from being bitten by unwanted Alphas.

That morning they had been married by the traditions of ancient Valyria in front of Princess Rhaenyra and a few witnesses. Then came the ceremony in front of the seven and the entire court. Princess Aemma looked beautiful as she took off her maiden cloak and put on the Targaryen cloak. On her cloak you could see a seahorse being surrounded by Arrax, her beautiful white dragon. The black and red cloak had a smaller Arrax flying next to Vhagar, their two tails entwined.

The King smiled with true joy upon seeing this ceremony. It was in the middle of the banquet when a servant girl screamed. The King had died after fulfilling his wish to see his granddaughter and his second son married. Princess Aemma got dizzy and the Queen, no, the Dowager Queen now, ordered her to be taken to her conjugal chamber. There would be no walk to get them both to bed. Aemond kissed her wife's hands and promised that he would return to her soon.

Prince Aemond reached the throne room in time to hear the screams. The Dowager Queen and the Crown Princess arguing and pulling the late King's crown like two beggars fighting over a coin. At least someone had had the decency to remove the body of the late King from the banquet hall.

One side of the room was with supports for Aegon. For the rightful King that Queen Alicent had sold. There weren't many because of Aegon's habit of trying to seduce and ruin the daughters of noblemen. A larger group was on Rhaenyra's side. The heiress chosen by the late King Viserys and obviously with more influence than everyone believed. And a third group was separated from the rest and watching to see who would win the contest. The neutrals.

The Dowager Queen and Otto Hightower were fighting over Aegon's right to rule. Rhaenyra was defending her rights as firstborn and chosen heir. Then Aemond noticed something that made the inside of him quiver with fear. Aegon wasn't there defending his right to claim the Iron Throne. Aemond was not in the throne room, the most important place right now.

Prince Aemond shouted the name of his wife, surprising his mother, his uncle, his mother-in-law and his brothers-in-law. After that he turned and ran through the corridors with the same speed as a dragon with favorable winds. It didn't take long for him to hear the screams of his wife calling out his name. Two White Cloaks occupied the place where the Gold Cloaks guards had been before. Aemond guessed that Aegon had brought more men, but they must be transporting the corpses if the trails of blood were anything to go by.

Aemond drew his sword and began to fight furiously. Seeing Ser Criston Cole as one of the guards broke Prince Aemond's heart. He had always been closer to that man than to his own father, and now he guarded the door behind which his brother abused his wife. Aemond could have beaten them both in a single fight, but he had a hard time against both at once. That was until the Daemon Targaryen teamed up with his nephew and killed Criston Cole by stabbing him through the crotch. Witnesses say that he whispered that he had wanted to do that for years

Aemond defeated his opponent and entered the bedroom. His wife's hair was mussed, her dress was torn and she had some small pearls rolling on the floor. But she still had the insides intact. She was covering her neck with both of her hands as Aegon tried to bite into her neck. The red of blood ran down Aemma's back from her hands and her fingers entwined tightly with hers to prevent her bite.

Aemond could see that Aegon had tried to remove his clothing in a hurry. But he wasn't naked yet. Aemond's sword pierced his brother's chest as Aemond bared his Alpha fangs in a clear display of dominance.

Princess Aemma sobbed and called for her husband. He took off her cloak and covered his wife with it. He looked towards the door and could see the Dowager Queen and Rhaenyra looking at Aegon as he lay dying on the floor. The crown was forgotten in the hands of the Dowager Queen. Prince Aemond took his wife to her mother's chambers where a maester awaited them.

Aemma's hands were bound and she was examined by the maester who confirmed her chastity. Aegon had wanted to mark her first before raping her, but Aemma had held her back. A cut on her neck marked the spot where Aegon had cut the leather from her collar. After that Aemma had protected her neck and now her hands were full of bites.

Aemond whispered to her wife how impressed he was with her for protecting herself from that wretch in such a way. What a good girl she was. Neither of them left the room for three days. As Aemma's hands healed and the milk of the poppy took effect. Aemond only got out once, in time to see the heads of the Whitecloaks that killed Aemma's guards, his brother's head, and Otto's on the pikes above the castle.

The princes left the bedroom and went to the throne room in time to see the coronation. Aemma was still intoxicated by the milk of the poppy so she and Aemond sat in a corner. Queen Rhaenyra had gotten what she wanted so badly. Apparently, the nobles hadn't liked her when Aegon had left the place where he was to fight for his right to the throne to go and abuse his brother's wife.

The Dowager Queen rushed over to them and hugged Aemma lovingly and affectionately as she whispered soothing words in the girl's ear. Her rooms had been moved to another area of the Fortress, she informed them. Aemma nodded and later met privately with the rest of her family.

The exact moment in which the Prince and Princess consummated their union was never known, only that it was less than a moon after their marriage and that two moons later the princess's pregnancy was announced.

Whispers of rape and bastards filled the court but were quickly put to rest by the Queen, the Dowager Queen, and the maidens who gathered up the sheets marked with Aemma's maiden blood. Those rumors kept happening but diminished until they were forgotten over time.

Princess Aemma and Prince Aemond had a total of nine children, six of whom survived to marry while three were carried away by fevers brought on by a five-year winter.

His eldest daughter married Jacaerys Targaryen before he took the throne after his wife and children died in the same plague that killed Princess Aemma's children.

For the rest of her life it was said that Princess Aemma was like a vine, uniting both sides of the family and preventing the war they all feared. She became known as one of the sweetest and most beautiful ladies ever produced by the Targaryen family.

Even more than a century after her death, the young Daenerys Targaryen heard her name from her septa as an example of manners, education, and the most exquisite beauty. Her manners and education were collected by a septa in a book that was considered essential reading for all ladies from important families. The young ladies memorized entire passages describing how Princess Aemma moved her hands and her body, how she used her soft, sweet voice to calm the spirits of the lords and make the court a peaceful and peaceful place. friendly to all

No history book ever reflected that she was in fact the bastard daughter of Queen Alpha and Princess Beta.
