Fog of Green in Mokpo
His eyes were narrowed rather dangerously, a growl itching at the base of his throat.
His gaze transfixed on Hayoon. The beta sitting tight beside Jisung. Eyelashes fluttering. Batting her eyes at him. Jisung however, was clearly ignoring her. Seeming most content to be looking down at something, and checking it over. Minho's jaw was clenched even more. His claws digging into the plastic and pleather of the car. Trying to keep himself from getting on this girl. Letting her know Jisung was off the market. He was using the mirror in the visor to keep a firm eye on her. Hating how she was flipping her hair, batting her eyes at him. And even getting into his space. Based on Jisung's tense body, he was likely a bit uncomfortable with her being so close to him.
Hyunjin could see Minho from his periphery. His very tense and clenched jaw. His narrowed gaze. And the growl Hyunjin could tell was itching to get out. How spine chilling would it be? Saw how his hands were shaking, claws digging as deep as they could into the seat and arm rest. Trying to hold himself back. And here he'd thought Minho's jealousy of Felix was bad. But, he wisely said nothing. Not yet, anyway. But he had to wonder, why Minho was so jealous. He and Jisung knew one another to be mates. He didn't think Jisung would actually consider other options. But, he wasn't sure. He wasn't close with Jisung. Hyunjin did feel a little bad about that. He never really gave Jisung a chance. And he wasn't entirely too sure why. Was he really just looking out for Minho's heart and safety? He's known Minho longer.
He wished he knew.
Hayoon finally managed to garner some of Jisung's attention, "So, you're a runner?"
Jisung hummed a moment. Hs tone nonchalant, even distracted. Distant. Indicating a lack of interest in what she had to say. Still, he was polite enough to answer. Even if he knew her parents disapproved of him, he didn't want them coming at him to protect her. He was an alpha, sure. But, he was a father. Jisung answered, "Only part-time. I only join the runners when I feel the urge to do so."
Minho ground his jaw a little. Indicating he didn't like where this was going. He turned to Hyunjin. His glare most dangerous. Hyunjin could have sworn that if looks could kill, he'd be dead by now. Hyunjin was the leader of the runners. He made the final decisions. He could tell Minho wanted him to deny her entrance into the runners. But Hyunjin wasn't certain. The more runners they had, the higher their chances of successful runs. And he couldn't make decisions based off the unpleasant feelings of his omega packmate. She nodded slowly, "Are there, position open in the runners?"
Jisung at this, had his own jaw clench. His temper was slowly beginning to rise. His gaze did flicker up. Meeting Hyunjin's in the rearview mirror. Indicating to the beta-omega, he was thoroughly done with this conversation. And would let Hyunjin deal with it. He spoke, eyes still staring into Hyunjin's in the mirror, "That is entirely up to Hyunjin. He's in charge of the runners." He was also hopeful her parents wouldn't let her join easily. Knowing how dangerous it was out there. She hummed, nodding. Jisung then spoke, "But, it will take a few days before you should make such a dangerous decision. First, we all have to meet with our resident doctor. While self-taught, he's the best we have. After that, the five of us have to report in to the alphas that run Stray Base. As we do, you and your family will find a safe home to move into and settle down. Decompress, and quarantine. Give it a few days. After that, you'll meet the alphas in charge. And then you can offer your services in ways you think you'd be best suited for, in terms of helping the community."
She nodded slowly a moment, before looking back to him. Batting her eyes, leaning more into his space, "What do you do when you're not with the runners?"
Jisung replied, "Monitor communications. We will eventually be open for trade with other bases. But until they're established enough, we're just monitoring one another. Keeping one another informed of the zombies, and their evolutions. Such as the fact they are now sprinters."
She nodded slowly once more, "Sounds very important." She spoke softly, "I bet you're very good at it."
Jisung at this, rolled his eyes and sat back. Anything to try and get her from his space, "In a matter. There's always room for improvement."
She nodded, sitting back as well. Sighing, and indicating she was tired. Jeongin was watching, eyebrow raised. His own lips pressed in a thin line. He wasn't fond of her. She was too obvious in her doings. Junyoung was confused. Did she not know Jisung smoked? He knew a lot were put off by smokers. The scent was gods awful, and so was the habit. Then again, some could find that an attractive thing. He was also not blind to how Minho and Jisung were clearly meant for one another. Uncertain how the omega with them felt about Jisung's habit. He didn't seem to care for it either, but he also seemed to simply tolerate it. Not his place. He wasn't part of their actual pack. Merely a wolf under the protection of the Bang Pack. He knew his place. With a final sigh, she brought her head to rest on Jisung's shoulder. Eager for a little rest. Jisung's ear swiveled, even as his gaze flickered to the back of Minho's seat. Hearing a very low, and clearly unhappy growl. Jisung however, remained still. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. For now. As Hyunin made the call to base, Minho was staring daggers into Hayoon.
Jisung was his.

Upon parking their car at the pack house upon their return to Stray Base, they left to head for Seungmin's medical facility.
As Junyoung guided the new family on the way there, Jisung and Jeongin made to follow. Leaving Hyunjin and Minho behind. Standing beside the older omega, Hyunjin spoke. A smirk on his face of amusement, even if he was pushing Minho's patience, "Jealous, Minho? I never thought you could achieve such an emotion. Though, why should you be? Jisung doesn't look interested in her. And he certainly is making it obvious she makes him uncomfortable."
Minho growled at him, "I am not jealous."
Hyunjin hummed, turning to face him, "You are, hyung. Don't deny it. If only we could make claim bites again. But it's a risk of turning we can't afford anymore." He hummed, thinking, "True, we only have speculation and assumptions to go on. Observations over the past year. Not sure alpha venom and the healing chemicals in their saliva, will help save anyone from turning from a claim bite. Why take the chance and risk?"
Minho huffed, storming off towards Seungmin's medical facility, "To make a bitch piss off what's not hers."
Hyunjin smirked, but wisely did not press the issue. Merely following for their medical exam. The Byun family were waiting patiently. Even as Hayoon stuck close to Jisung. Swaying gently back and forth. A clear indication of flirtatious behavior. Jisung plainly ignoring her. Watching. Waiting. Patient. He did turn, taking in Minho and Hyunjin upon their entrance. Briefly glancing at Hyunjin, before remaining transfixed on Minho. Hyunjin could have smirked. He doubted Minho had much to worry about. Jisung clearly had more interest in the omega, than the beta.
After only a small wait, a young beta-alpha wearing a white lab coat entered from the other room. He took them all in a moment, and nodded, "Welcome home." They nodded as he turned first to the runners. Jisung easily pulling back to stand with the rest, "Alright, you lot know the drill. Check up time." With a nod, the five proceeded to take most of their clothing off. Leaving Minho and Hyunjin in their bras, and the five of them in their lower undergarments. Ensuring some level of decency. While Hayoon's father raised a questioning eyebrow at this, he said nothing. Merely watching, observing. Even with narrowed and warning eyes at Jisung. Hayoon's eyes remained on the alpha. Taking in his muscle tone. His shoulders. He was very sexy. Seungmin approached and took each in carefully. Ensuring they didn't even have a scratch. Heavens only knew when their luck would start to turn. As Seungmin examined Jeongin, he spoke softly, "Missed you, alpha."
Jeongin smiled brightly at that. He leaned closer, and pressed a sweet kiss to Seungmin's cheek, "Missed you too, my beta."
Seungmin could not refrain a soft smile from taking his face, "You look fine." Jeongin nodded, already putting his clothing back on. As he pulled his shirt back over his head, he spoke. His voice muffled by the fabric, "We got you lots of medicines. Even stuff for potential future developments."
Seungmin inquired gently and sweetly, "Oh?" He watched Jeongin as his head popped out of his shirt, "Like what?"
Minho finally huffed, pressing the bag roughly into Seungmin's chest, "Don't ask. Just take them, and shut up."
Seungmin reached up, taking the bag in his own grip. Though looking at Minho in a questioning way. Clearly worried. Was Minho going into heat? He wasn't due for a few more weeks. Why was Minho so unhappy? He could see his tail going in clear annoyance and agitation. Hyunjin smirked. Leaning in, and whispering softly so only Seungmin and Jeongin could really hear, "Minho's jealous." He nodded, "Beta over there's all over Jisung like rain in the desert. He's not happy about it."
Minho huffed, even as a small growl escaped him, "I am not jealous." He turned, snapping a little at Hyunjin, "Piss off."
Jisung hummed, watching a moment, "Could have had our first kiss, if she hadn't popped in out of nowhere."
He looked to Junyoung. The younger beta-alpha shrugged, "I didn't know. She didn't stick with me more than a few moments. Wait until she sees you smoking. Might put her off."
Jisung frowned profusely at that, "Somehow, I severely doubt it. I can only thank my lucky stars her parents clearly don't approve. Probably the first time being the outlier, outsider, rough around the edges bad boy actually pays off." He turned to Minho, and spoke softly, "Rest assured, I'm not interested in her. I'll be polite, but uninterested."
Minho huffed, turning to Seungmin, "Can I go now?"
Seungmin smirked, amused. He nodded, "For now. But he's right. Try not to worry."
Minho huffed, turning to storm out. Back to the pack house. Jeongin winked to Jisung, even as he finished getting dressed again, "We've got you, hyung."
Jisung smirked, but nodded, "Good luck."
Hyunjin hummed, eyes flickering over to Hayoon, "You as well. Watch yourself."
Jisung waved his words off, "I may be rough around the edges, but I am a loyal alpha. I will be Minho's only. Don't worry."
Hyunjin hummed, even as he and Junyoung finally left. And lasty, Jisung as he got the clearance to report in. Leaving Seungmin to deal with the Byun family.
Things had gotten a bit more interesting around the base.
//
His eyes were narrowed, his claws biting into the palm of his hands.
He growled. Long and low. Not to alert anyone. But his ire most prominent. Watching as Hayoon left the porch of Jisung's house. He tensed. Digging his heels in. Trying to stow his omega wolf away. Trying to keep it from giving chase. From clawing her eyes out. Watching as she drifted off a little, towards the home she and her parents were now occupying. His gaze drifted. Taking in the flicker of a dark amber color. Watching as it slowly dimmed a little. Taking in the outline of Jisung. The alpha leaning back against the exterior wall of the home. Already back to smoking. Maybe he was hoping her parents saw. Hoped their disapproval grew. And kept her from bothering him further.
Minho didn't know.
He also didn't like her encroaching on his territory. He turned, and made his way up onto the porch with Jisung. The alpha seeming staring off into nothing. Fingers holding his cigarette to his lips. Pulling it away now and again. Blowing it out. Seeming relaxed. Tension slowly bleeding from him. After a moment, his gaze drifted to Minho. And the shift was almost immediate. His body completely relaxed. And he perked. Seeming eager for Minho's company. Minho huffed, snapping low and angry, "Why the fuck was she here?"
Jisung smirked behind his cigarette. He raised an eyebrow, "Jealous, Minho?"
Minho growled at him. Storming over, "Don't play with me, Han Jisung. What the fuck was she doing here?"
Jisung at this, shrugged, "The usual. Flirt. Get my attention. Barely succeeded. I didn't ask for her to come to me. She came on her own."
Minho huffed, stepping to be right in front of Jisung. Staring into his deep dark red eyes. Letting Jisung see his own dark and furious blue eyes, "What did she get from you, hm?"
Jisung blinked a moment, before he replied, "Hardly much." He pulled his cigarette away, and finally pushed up off the house. Stepping closer to Minho. Until they were chest to chest. Gently, he brought the hand holding his cigarette up. Using it to cup his cheek soft and gentle, "Try not to let her foul your mood. Surely you see how much I'm uncomfortable with her. How much I'm not interested."
Minho sighed, even as Jisung pulled his hand away. And pulled from his cigarette once more. He nodded, slowly, "I just, you let her get close to you."
Jisung raised an eyebrow, "What would you have me do? Her father may not approve of me. But he's still a father of a pup bearer. He will get at me if he thinks I'm hurting his daughter. May even think I think of myself as better than her. That she's out of her league. Which she is decidedly not. I know I'm not the best alpha out there. I have a nasty temper. I've told you this. It's why I smoke so much. No one is enough to help me keep it in. To help me quit. Wish I could." He paused, taking Minho in. After a moment, his voice became even softer, "Well, for you I might. But it takes more than two near kisses for me to just quit them. It's too soon for that, anyway."
Minho frowned a moment. He sighed softly. His gaze fell to Jisung's chest a moment, before he brought his hands to rest against it. Feeling the alpha warmth radiating from him. He stepped closer, before looking back into his eyes, "You would quit for me, right?"
Jisung nodded, "I think you can help me. When the time is right."
Minho sighed softly. His mind calming a moment, "I can convince, and voluntell Hyunjin to move into Changbin's den. They'll be mates, anyway. This would let you move into the pack house. Away from her easy access."
Jisung smirked, "Take your time." He then frowned, "But be careful, Minho. Military training and gun aside, you're still an omega. And she is a beta-alpha. She's got bigger bones than you. She could hurt you." He brought both hands up, and cupped his cheeks. Staring deeper into his eyes, "I'll not have her hurt you, in her attempts to take me from you. Just try and hold out."
Minho hummed, nodding only little, "Wish she knew her place was not with you."
Jisung smirked, "In time." Minho sighed once more, eyes closed. He turned, nuzzling into Jisung's wrist. Showing some mild affection for the alpha. Jisung leaned closer, voice low and warm, "You have my word, Minho. Despite my rough nature, I am still very loyal to you. I seek no other." He smirked, "She's not my type." Minho watched him, before he leaned in and spoke softly, "Try to rest easy, Minho. You've got me. All of me. I'm one hundred precent yours. But we have to be careful about all this. You are not the one stuck between four difficult places. A cliff face, a sheer drop, a rock, and a clear death trap. Let me navigate this smartly, okay? Until then, try to relax. This alpha belongs to you."
Minho watched him, eyes sparkling with hope, "I trust you."
Jisung smiled, before he leaned in and softly kissed his cheek, "Try to relax." He pulled back, "Go and get some sleep, Minho. And remember, I'm yours."
Minho nodded. He turned, making to leave. He paused at the steps, and called softly over his shoulder, "As I am yours."
Jisung smiled, "All mine, and all sexy."
Minho at this, blushed. But smiled, pleased, "Good night, Jisung."
"Good night." Minho nodded, and finally left. And barely caught Jisung's final word, "Baby."
Minho paused, looking back to Jisung. But the alpha was back to smoking. And looking as if he wanted to be left damn well alone. A blush brushed over Minho's cheeks. Warming them, even in the dark of night. His heart did a flip. And he decided, he quite liked the pet name from Jisung. With a soft smile and some calmness in his heart, Minho returned to the pack house. His omega seeming to let him know, Jisung really was loyal to just him. He'd have to hope some other alpha caught Hayoon's eyes. So she could finally leave Jisung alone.
It was going to be a very hard time for Minho, until then.
