Heart of Courage, Pack of Three
Their breaths turned from hot, to cold.
Yeosang tried not to growl too much, he was disadvantaged at the present. His arms full of his omega. His weapon useless at this time. A warm body pressed tighter into his back, before a low hum came. The same deep gravely voice spoke once more, "Please, don't stop on my account. Continue." Yeosang could have growled, practically feeling the other alpha whip out his own cock. Stroking it to full hardness. He continued, "I would love to see you fuck him mindless. Just don't knot him. I'll finish him off, and satisfy him in a way a weaker alpha like you could never."
Yeosang said nothing. He did nothing. He was working his brain desperately, searching for a way out of this. His eyes remaining transfixed on Wooyoung. How did he spare his omega being raped by his random asshole alpha? If this alpha locked with Wooyoung, he'd be devastated. Unable to be with his actual alphas. And they were still waiting to meet him. And they both knew, this one was not their missing mate. Yeosang wanted to know what Wooyoung could suggest. Would they continue, or would Wooyoung watch as this alpha killed Yeosang? And took him anyway.
However, Wooyoung's eyes were cast elsewhere.
Over the shoulder of both Yeosang and this random alpha, his eyes met shocked red eyes. His hair and fur a reddish orange color. With black vines curling throughout. There was a look of shock the two shared. However, neither one spoke. Wooyoung knew this alpha. He looked as if he were submissive to the alpha holding them at knife point. Like he had no real strength in his back to stand up to the other. Some alphas were unfortunately that way, he knew. With pleading eyes that he help, he watched. Desperation conveyed. Now, he wished he knew his name. He would. They would. But only after they managed to get out of this situation.
They'd found a member of their pack!
Seeming to have failed to get their packmate to help in some fashion, he painfully tore his gaze from the other. Instead, he bore them back into Yeosang's eyes. With a thick swallow, he nodded. To give in. Let the other get what he wanted. If he wanted a show, they would give it. Even if desire had fled their systems, as fast as life from the eyes of a dying individual.
With a frustrated huff and low growl, Yeosang nodded subtly. Agreeing with Wooyoung. Even if he wished he could find a way to spare them both this moment. Without a word as they were at the other's mercy, Yeosang leaned in and began to press kisses along Wooyoung's neck. Perhaps if they played along long enough, they might find a way to get out of this situation. A satisfied rumble was the answer. Yeosang could have growled the other to back off. Not appreciating being pinned by the other. Nor the hot breath brushing past them, and aiming for Wooyoung's neck.
No!
Wooyoung, was his!
Before Yeosang could retaliate and risk it all to defend his omega, the low hissing groaning of a zombie to their side caught their attention. They stilled. Each looking in the direction of the sound. The slow shuffling of a zombie came, and the slow movement of one could be just seen over the tops of the shelves. What neither one could see, was the red furred alpha. However, a glass bottle rolled towards them. Before clinking just so against the bottom metal shelving. The zombie turned in the direction of the sound.
The other alpha pulled back, unleashing the two from his sick desires. He growled, hissing as well.
Threatening, almost, "Mingi."
//
He stood, holding the sapphire blue gaze of the omega trapped in a scenario worse than the death by zombies.
Surprise rippled through him, recognizing this omega. Well, not entirely. He did not know his name. Nor had they actually met before. But his wolf was howling. He'd finally found a packmate. One he was meant to be with. He could finally be free of his bully type companion. The one holding them at knife point, and asking for a disgusting threesome of some kind. He could read the pleading in the omega's eyes. Begging him for help in getting them out of such a situation. But, Mingi couldn't. He was considered too weak and clumsy. Especially trying to take on his clearly stronger and more dominant companion. As the omega looked away in clear pain, he did as well.
What was he to do?
How did he help his pack get out of this?
Mingi turned away. Unable to watch this happen. As he did, his gaze landed on the locked door that he could hear a zombie behind. He bit his bottom lip a moment, checking in with the three a moment. Seeing they were distracted by one another once more, Mingi softly and quietly shuffled off towards the door. If he could set the zombie free and use it to distract his now former companion, he could help his pack free. He remained silent, yet swift. Knowing time was of the essence. Who knew how long his omega packmate's alpha mate would hold out, before trying to get into an alpha fight over him. It wouldn't end well. He just knew it.
Once at the door, Mingi crouched so he wasn't easily perceived by anyone. With his long black alpha claws, he worked the lock. Picking it. Once it softly unlocked, Mingi felt a rush of adrenaline course through him. Yes! Mingi slowly pulled out of the way, and only slightly unlatched the door. Letting the zombie do the rest. He then retreated as quickly as he could down another aisle. As he did, a second idea came to him. He grabbed a clear bottle of some alcohol. Shame, could use a drink after the hell he's been in since he left his former apartment last year.
He hurried as quietly, and as quickly down the aisle as he could. He then made for the aisle his pack and former companion were in. As he reached the end, he heard it. The zombie slowly emerge from its cage. He nodded, good. He just had to find a way to get it towards them. He remained crouched, even as he peered around the corner at them. And for once, he nearly growled. Eyes flaring as he watched his former companion lean in, in an attempt to place his own dirty mouth on the omega's neck.
He watched as the other alpha stiffened. Clearly, ready to get into a physical fight over the act. Knife obviously damned in that moment. However, they went still. His own ears perked, hearing the hissing groaning of the zombie. The shuffling as it drew closer to the aisle they were all practically in. He bit his bottom lip, begging the gods that his plan worked. He griped the alcohol bottle more firmly in his grip. After waiting another moment, he gently rolled the bottle in their direction. Hoping to draw the zombie their way, without drawing more than just the one. One would be enough for his former companion.
As the glass bottle softly clinked against the metal of the bottom shelving, he watched as his former companion pulled back. He growled and hissed his name, "Mingi."
He didn't care.
As his former companion went to try and head off the zombie, Mingi rushed forth towards his pack members. Before the other alpha could round on him, he put his hand to his mouth and brought a finger to his own lips. The look of surprise in the other alpha's eyes was similar to the omega's. He turned his gaze to the zombie shuffling closer, and his former companion. Without a word, Mingi looked to them and then pulled them along. Hurrying them down the aisle, and away from what was to come. He then grabbed the backpack he'd be carrying, and was quick to guide them up and down each aisle. As he did, he handed them food and medicines. While he himself, grabbed spare parts for machinery.
He has his reasons.
It was almost concerning when no bloody squelching sound came. Likely, his former companion wanted him first. Then the zombie. But Mingi wasn't going to linger to find out. Upon grabbing the last of what they had, Mingi pulled them towards the entrance to the convenience store. He then stood facing the interior. Becoming a wall between them, and his former companion. When their eyes locked, he growled. Marching over to them, "I'm going to make you fucking pay for this, Mingi."
Mingi waited, before he turned to look at the zombie that had been hunting for any of them. Hearing his former companion and seeing him, the zombie rushed for him. Stumbling over quickly. As his companion cursed, Mingi reached over and pushed one of the stands down. Sending it crashing to the floor, and making sound. Mingi then turned, grabbing the other two by the wrists and hauling them along, "Fucking, run."
Without hesitation, they did. Following Mingi as he made away from the incoming zombie herd. Guiding them to a home he and his former companion had. He let them go only long enough, to gather his personal things. Before leaving with them, once again.
Finally, he had part of his true pack!
//
Once a safe distance from the town, they stopped to catch their breaths.
Hands on knees, bent over. After long enough, Wooyoung spoke, "I'm glad, you helped."
Mingi nodded, catching his own breath, "You both gave me renewed hope." Once they had gathered their breaths and stood tall, Mingi spoke, "I'm Song Mingi. I've been waiting for the day I met one of my actual pack members."
Wooyoung nodded, even as Yeosang gave him a narrowed eyed look. Even if his inner wolf was happy and celebrating the arrival of another packmate, he was still cautious with his omega, "I see. I'm Kang Yeosang. And this is my omega mate, Jung Wooyoung."
Wooyoung blinked, then frowned. He then gently smacked his alpha with the back of his hand to his arm, "It's not Jung, anymore. It's Kang. At least, for now." He smiled, "Kang Wooyoung, now. Thank you for helping me and my alpha from that tough spot. I should have kept an ear out for other survivors. Not just zombies."
Mingi shrugged, "It was nothing." He then dipped his head, and inquired softly, "Are you, willing to let me tag along?"
Yeosang blinked, before taking him in from head to toe. He was tall. An alpha. And he was pack. Yeosang sighed, before he nodded. He turned, gesturing he follow, "Come along, then."
Mingi beamed, eagerly following the mates on their journey. As he shifted his backpack, he inquired, "Can I ask you something?"
Yeosang looked to Wooyoung, who smiled and nodded, "We can trust him, Yeo. He's pack. He's a good one. You and I both know it."
Yeosang sighed, "You can be too trusting sometimes, Woo."
Wooyoung huffed, "I am not. I meet a random wolf again and I know he's not pack, I'm not saying a damned thing."
Yeosang hummed, studying his omega a moment before he nodded, "I know." He looked over his shoulder at Mingi, "It's a case full of sensitive information. Both the long research notes, and formula on the zombie virus. The base one, that is. And, the cure. I did test it, it works. I worked all winter to ensure it did. We're on our way to Incheon. I need a bigger and better facility to create more. And on top of that, I want to study the incoming next virus variant. The first mutation to come. We all know it's coming."
Mingi blinked, "Wow, really?"
Wooyoung nodded, "Witnessed it myself. But if you're pack, we trust you. But don't tell anyone else. Yeosang is to be protected at all costs. He knows the formula. He can make more of the cure serum. Can't do that if we go blabbing to just anyone. Only pack is free to know."
Mingi nodded, face turning serious, "You got it." After another moment, he inquired, "Why not the military base just outside Incheon? They have research equipment, right?"
Yeosang shrugged, "It's a pit stop, really. I need bigger. I will warn you now, eventually I have to get to Seoul. The best in the country, really. Even if the power's currently out."
Mingi nodded, "Of course."
Yeosang hummed, before he spoke, "Now you answer me this. What's with the parts?"
Mingi blinked, before shifting his backpack full of it, "Oh, I've been attempting to try and make a radio. Well, more like a walking radio."
Wooyoung inquired, "Like a, walkie-talkie?"
Mingi nodded, "Yeah, like that. Just, for now. Until we reach an established safe zone. Where I can try and make radio contact with any others out there. May even try global, if possible. I've always loved to tinker and toy with things. Take them apart, put them back together. Was studying to be a mechanic, before all this went down."
Wooyoung was watching him, nodding as he listened. He then turned to Yeosang, "That's actually useful, you know."
Yeosang nodded in agreement, "I know." He inquired, "You know much about generators?"
Mingi shrugged, "Only a little. I find I work best when I just tinker and toy. I can come up with some pretty amazing results."
Yeosang nodded, "Then you really are invaluable. Your former companion know that?"
Mingi huffed, "No. Just liked to bully me about, and put me down. Said my "stuff" was useless. Well yeah, it is useless. For now. Let me have time to actually find a way to make it all come together and work some magic. So to speak. But, he never liked staying in place for more than a night or two. All the moving about made it hard. I think he did it on purpose."
Yeosang nodded, "Sounds about right." He turned to look at Mingi once more, and finally offered him a small smile, "I'm glad you're with us, Mingi. Two alphas, and a badass bitch omega. I think we have a chance of changing our fates."
Mingi beamed, as Wooyoung leaned in and kissed his cheek, "Look at you, being nice."
Yeosang huffed, "I can be nice. But I nearly had you raped in front of me."
Wooyoung shrugged, "But I wasn't. Make your heart cold as ice for others, but not for our pack. Please. We can't keep going it alone. We have Mingi, it's a start. When we'll meet the rest, I don't know. For now, we got a third packmate. That's something." Yeosang nodded in agreement, before Wooyoung smiled back at Mingi, "So, how old are you?"
Mingi smirked, and answered. The answer, had Wooyoung pouting. Yeosang took to a gleeful gloating smirk, without saying a word. Knowing Wooyoung would make him pay for it, if he boasted too much. This meant Yeosang was the alpha in charge, being the oldest. Wooyoung was the youngest. And Mingi, their center. With a new pack member, they felt a little more complete and safe.
The three were soon off, to Incheon.
