Party People
“Get on your knees.” Regulus commanded, hastily unzipping his pants. Barty obliged, of course, helping the man pull down his jeans. He could see the bulge in Regulus’ pants and Barty’s mouth watered. He needed to take them off that second. Barty grabbed Regulus’ boxers and pulled them down to his ankles. His dick sprung onto his stomach, and Barty grabbed it firmly, causing Regulus to let out a soft moan.
“Fuck, Barty.” Regulus moaned, letting his head fall backwards. “Take it like a good boy.” Barty did as Regulus said, causing the black haired boy to grab his hair and start to move his head up and down on his dick. Barty complied and let Regulus’ dick hit the back of his throat repeatedly, trying not to gag. “That’s good, baby,” Regulus groaned. The use of the nickname created butterflies in Barty’s stomach, and he worked his tongue harder around the tip. “Fuuuuck, I’m going to come.”
“Come in my mouth. Please. I need to taste you.” Barty begged, pulling Regulus’ dick out of his mouth for a second before quickly returning to eagerly sucking around the tip. Regulus did, and Barty held up his end of the bargain. Afterwards, Regulus quickly pulled his boxers and jeans back on, seemingly desperate to get out of the small storage room.
“Wait, where are you going?” Barty asked in a disappointed tone.
“Oh, I mean we kind of have to get to practice…” Regulus trailed off, eyeing the door. “Why? Did you need something?”
“Oh, er, I’ve just been thinking about us, maybe we could talk more at dinner?” He suggested.
“What, like the two of us? I don't really think that's our style.” Regulus snapped, which instantly shifted Barty’s mood.
“Fine,” Barty sneered. “Let’s just get to practice then.” He rushed past Regulus through the door and to their studio where the band practiced. Their friends Remus and Harry had started their band, Firebolt, a few years back, recruiting Barty, Regulus, Evan, and Niall to all join. Barty discovered his passion for playing the drums, finding it was a great way to get out some of his anger and aggression at times. He could already tell today would be one of those times.
Regulus waited a moment, then followed him into the studio, where he was warmly greeted by his other band mates.
The other members all fit together perfectly, with Harry as the lead vocalist, Remus as the lead guitarist, Niall as the bassist, Evan as another vocalist, and Regulus on the keyboard. The band had brought the boys closer together, where they pretty much spent their whole days together, with being at school and then at practice later in the day.
The band had been preparing to enter an upcoming battle of the bands competition, called Rock Rebellion. They were required to perform two original songs and one cover for the judges in order to qualify for the competition, so the boys were hard at work.
Between the 6 of them, Harry and Remus wrote most of their music, but it wasn’t unusual for the others to contribute at times. The band had already released an EP, so the boys were planning to use their best songs off of that. As for the cover, they were still choosing between a few options.
“Alright, now that we’re all here,” Remus started with a pointed glance in Barty and Regulus’ direction. “Let’s take it from the top, shall we?”
“One, two, three, four,” Barty counted them in, banging his drumsticks together. The boys then began to play their respective instruments for the intro, until Harry came in signing.
She was a pretty girl
Hair couldn’t hold a curl
I would sweet talk her but always failed
I’m a simple boy
My attempts were way too coy
Just one look at her, and my skin would fry
We’re playing in a sold out room
Hanging out with no curfew
She kinda looks my way
I stare on, and on, and on, and on
Barty began to pick up his playing on the drums aggressively, and the rest of the boys ramped up their instruments to create the upbeat sound of the chorus. Evan and Niall joined in singing with Harry.
Two souls, one night
Swore that I’d put up a fight
But one glance sent me out of my mind
But wait, people
Blocking us from shared emotion
Playing somewhere behind
The boys continued to play their instruments throughout the break, with Regulus playing a few standout chords on the keyboard.
Playing hard to get until
Someone puts her in a veil
I’d do anything to meet her eyes
Just one more time
We will win
Or I’ll lose
She was born to bend the rules
Oh, this day can never end
I stare on, and on, and on, and on
As the instruments ramped up, the other boys joined in signing again.
Two souls, one night
Swore that I’d put up a fight
But one glance sent me out of my mind
But wait, people
Blocking us from shared emotion
Playing somewhere behind
Remus began playing a solo on the guitar, adding a few unique riffs that made the song sound even better.
Please don’t leave me
Even if you lose the feeling
Two souls, one night
Please don’t leave me
Hold on
Two souls, one night
Please don’t leave me
Even if you lose the feeling
Two souls, one night
“Alright, boys! Sounds great. We are bound to get into the competition with a song like that,” Niall said, setting his bass guitar on the floor.
“I think that’s enough for today, don’t wanna overwork our star singer here,” Remus teased, clapping Harry on the back. Barty huffed from his seat by the drums, quickly packing up his stuff and storming out of the room. Barty’s temper tantrums were not unusual, so most of the boys were used to it by now. They could only wonder what it could possibly be about this time. Evan nervously watched Barty’s angry expression and tried to follow him through the door. But, Remus put his arm out in front of him to stop his path. “It’s not worth it, mate. He’ll be fine,” Remus said.
Evan sighed and turned around, giving a curious look at Regulus. The three of them were sort of a trio, so Evan was wondering if Regulus might have known what Barty was upset about this time.
Regulus shrugged. “Don’t worry about him.”
However, Evan always worried about Barty. Maybe even a little too much. He couldn’t help it.

“Liiiiiam do we have to?” Sirius groaned, sounding like a child.
“Please don’t make us,” James fake-frowned before breaking into a smile.
“Just one more time, boys. Then we can get ready for the party.”
“Fine, Li. But at least give us a break for 5 minutes,” Zayn suggested, looking up at Liam from his seat by the keyboard. Liam stared at him for a moment, before sighing and nodding his head. He could never say no to Zayn. Especially with his puppy eyes.
“Yes!” Sirius and James chanted in unison, pumping their fists in the air. They both ran into the hallway to do god knows what, followed by Peter, their chubbier third. They were always getting up to their antics, never failing to keep the rest of the band on their toes. From his seat, Zayn grabbed Liam’s arm and pulled him into a hug, nuzzling his head into his chest.
“Ew! Get a fucking room you two!” Louis squealed from across the room, covering his eyes dramatically.
Liam and Zayn had been dating since before they even decided to start the band. They recruited Sirius for his amazing guitar skills, and he brought his best friend from school, James, who played the bass guitar and sang, along with him. This, of course, inspired Peter, their drummer, to join, as he had been their third wheel since their boarding school days. Since Louis and Zayn had practically been attached at the hip since their first day of uni, Louis was pretty much a guaranteed member.
They had been practicing for their second battle of the bands, Rock Rebellion, ever since they saw the poster outside their studio. After a rough loss in their first competition, the boys wanted to come back better than ever. They picked the best of their songs for their qualifying round, and were starting to perfect them after weeks of rehearsals.
“All right, all right, ready to go again!” James called as he reentered the room. Sirius and Peter quickly filed in behind him, grabbing their respective instruments.
The rest of the boys prepared their instruments, looking to Peter, waiting for him to count them in.
“One, two, three, four,” Peter chanted, banging his drumsticks together, and they all began playing. Liam then came in with the first verse.
Hey there, brother, my old pal,
I haven’t seen you in a while
Because a figure dressed in black
Caused our family to crack
And the story that was planted in your brain
Still remains
Within the walls of Grimmauld Place
The band started to pick up their playing, with Peter increasing the tempo on the drums.
In shaded streets, I ran alone
Haunted by our mother’s tone
The weight of her words, a heavy crown
In that house, I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t drown
I fought for freedom, for my mind
Couldn’t you see? She was being unkind
I looked up and saw
A crowd of people, they were warm
People welcoming with open arms
People caring about my charms
No more screaming fights that we would share
And no one dared
Bring up the walls of Grimmauld Place
“Fool” she’d chant, “you do not know”
Violence in a startled home
Hear my words, feel my hand
Take my soul that I lost that night
But my words should always stay with you
And we’re through
With the walls of Grimmauld Place
And my brother cried and begged
To the gods who took his friend
And I gave my warning
With these words that I am forming
And I called to say “get away
Before they can say
‘Your brother is a disgrace’”
And still they say within the walls of Grimmauld Place
“Nice work, lads! Next thing we know, we’ll have won Rock Rebellion!” Louis exclaimed, which was met with whoops and cheers from the rest of the band.
“Okay, now let’s talk party. We’re all going, right?” Sirius glanced around at his bandmates, ensuring that they would be in attendance.
“Of course we are, mate!” James responded enthusiastically, followed by Peter nodding in agreement.

James, Sirius, Louis, Peter, Liam, and Zayn walked into the party together as a united front. Most of them had the goal of a meaningless hookup, so they began scanning for their targets. Zayn and Liam headed toward the kitchen together looking for drinks, leaving the others behind. Louis spotted his girlfriend, Eleanor, from across the room and walked over to her, closely followed by James, who was looking for his next prey in this group of girls. Peter, apparently, had found a girl that he thought was in his league, anxiously scurrying over to her side of the room.
Sirius was left by himself, so he quickly found a girl to chat with. With his long, dark hair, bright blue eyes, and flirtatious personality, Sirius rarely had trouble getting girls’ attention. He introduced himself to the petite blonde girl, who he later found out was named Julia.
Sirius and Julia were talking about school, and they learned that they had one of the same professors. As she went on about her organic chemistry class, Sirius caught sight of the most gorgeous man he had ever seen. He had light brown hair, and was wearing a Bowie shirt.
Sirius quickly dismissed himself and walked after the tall, lanky brunette, desperate to start talking to him about Bowie, who happened to be one of Sirius’ favorite artists of all time. The other man seemed to notice Sirius staring, and gave him a slight smirk. He then approached Sirius, sticking out his hand and introducing himself.
“I’m Remus,” the taller man started, “you need something?”
Remus, what a perfect name. For a perfect man. And he was PERFECT. Sirius wanted to follow him around for the rest of his life. He was so drawn to the man.
“No, no, nothing,” Sirius muttered. God, he sounded so stupid. He couldn’t ruin his chances with Remus. Right as Remus looked like he was going to turn away, Sirius shook his hand. “I’m Sirius, nice to meet you, Remus,”
“Yeah, you too. So, do you go here?”
“Yeah, I do, junior year,” Sirius responded, gazing up at Remus, then feeling ashamed of his blatant awe of the man in front of him. “Nice shirt! Do you like Bowie?”
“Well, duh. Why else would I wear it?”
“Dunno, sometimes people like to pretend they are cooler than they are,”
“So, are you saying I’m cool?” Remus raised his eyebrow.
“Not sure if I know you well enough to gauge that yet,” Sirius clapped back with a wink.
The two began talking about music, and found that they had very similar tastes. Then, James walked over with his arm wrapped around a brunette who looked around 5’5”.
“Sirius, mate! Where’ve ya been?” Sirius could tell that James was already a little bit drunk. He introduced himself to the girl on James’ side, who said her name was Lila.
“Orright James? This is Remus. Remus, this is my best mate, James.”
“Nice to meet ya, Remus,” James exclaimed drunkenly. “Oi! Bowie! Nice shirt, mate. Sirius loooooves Bowie.”
“So I’ve heard,” Remus responded, seeming bored with the conversation. Luckily for Sirius, James and Lila went off into a corner and began making out.
Shortly after, Sirius and Remus found themselves outside. They began making out too, and Sirius felt sparks flying. He had kissed plenty of people in his lifetime, but not once had he felt the way he did kissing Remus. It was like something in his life finally clicked into place. Sirius wanted to give his life away to the man whose tongue was down his throat.
They separated, and all Sirius wanted was to keep kissing Remus. He leant back in, but Remus pulled away and placed his pointer finger on Sirius’ lips. Sirius opened his mouth, attempting to seductively suck Remus’ finger.
“Fuck, you’re so hot. And a good kisser. But I can’t do any more. Not tonight. I need to go.” Remus said, and Sirius’ heart sank. “Maybe we’ll meet again. Goodbye, Sirius. Good night.”
“Good night, Remus,”
