tidying up
Aya's eyes peeked up at Mitsuki and her face flushed again. “Koga-san?-” She mumbled, making Mitsukis heart skip a beat.
“Yeah?-” Mitsuki whispered back. Aya giggled a bit and reached a hand up, carefully using her thumb to wipe away lip gloss. Mitsuki smiled a bit, looking at Aya's lips and struggling not to laugh as well. “Aya… I think you should be more worried about yourself right now.” Mitsuki smiled. Aya's face flushed and she pulled away quickly. Mitsuki laughed, happy that she could look at her fully. The girl's pink hair was a bit messed up, likely from Mitsukis hand in it. Her lip gloss was smudged along her lips and she was trying to fix it with a flushed face. Mitsuki smiled.
Aya's eyes flicked over to Mitsuki and her cheeks flushed a deeper red. “Don't laugh at me!-” She sputtered out. Mitsuki let out a stifled giggle.
“I'm not!- I'm not-” She started.
“You absolutely are.” Aya cut her off with a huff. Mitsuki smiled and reached a hand out, placing it on Aya's head and ruffling her hair gently. “Stop that!- I literally just fixed my hair!-” Aya groaned quietly, but the smile on her face was inexcusable.
Mitsuki moved her hands and carefully adjusted a bit of Aya's hair, running her fingers through it silently. Her fingertips brushed along Aya's ear, making her jump a bit. Mitsukis face flushed slightly. “Sorry!- I-”
“No!- No… it's nice…” Aya whispered, looking up at Mitsuki for a moment before clearing her throat. “A-and you can obviously make sure it looks fine!- Because you can see it- no mirrors in here… so-” Mitsuki smiled gently readjusting Aya's bangs carefully, her fingers slightly skimming the girls forehead.
“You don't have to make excuses like that, you know.” Mitsuki said, moving her hands down to Aya's cheeks and cupping them as she used her thumb to get the last bit of smudged lip gloss off her lower lip. She could still taste strawberries on her own lips.
“I'm not making excuses… I'm just… finding reasons that seem more… normal and less…” Aya trailed off. Mitsuki looked at her for a long moment, trying to read her expression quietly. Aya looked back up at her for a split second before her hands moved down to Mitsukis collar.
Mitsuki expected another kiss.
But, Aya simply started buttoning up the fabric, mumbling to herself as she focused on each little button. “Is that… okay?” She eventually said, pulling Mitsukis collar down and adjusting it. She looked back up to Mitsukis eyes. Mitsukis face must have been flushed, because Aya pressed a quick kiss to her lips and smiled a bit.
“There. Now you're all good.” Aya teased. If Mitsukis face wasn't red before, it totally was now. Aya giggled, it was obvious she got the reaction she wanted. Mitsuki rubbed her cheek and stood up, offering a hand down to Aya. Aya smiled up at her and took her hand, standing alongside her.
“So.. should I-”
“Do you want to-”
“You go first!-” Mitsuki sputtered out quickly, her hand still holding Aya's. Aya nodded gently.
“I was wondering if… you wanted to come back with me. I mean, I'm assuming everyone is going to want to see you after the… stunt you pulled.” Aya smiled a bit. Mitsuki blinked for a moment and sighed.
“I guess you're right, huh?” She smiled softly back at Aya. The pair stood there for a moment, looking at each other. Mitsuki squeezed Aya's hand in hers gently and placed a soft kiss on the girl's cheek. Aya's face turned into an adorable smile that made Mitsukis heart beat like crazy.
“Come on, you dork. Let's go.” Aya whispered. Mitsukis face flushed a bit and she smiled back at the pink haired girl.
“Yeah. Let's.”
