“I'm not annoyed,” Sirius said as he paced around the dorm room's small living room, “I just don't enjoy the sound of sex at 10 in the morning is all.”

He looked up at his brother’s unimpressed expression and shook his head in dismay. The problem at hand wasn’t that Sirius was jealous his brother had a boyfriend before him, it was that he was worried. Totally.

“I mean think for a second Reg.. how well do you even know this guy?? He could be a murderer!” He started in a dramatic flare and waved his hands above his head to add to his point.

He quickly whipped his head around at the sound of a disappointed sigh, just to see his best friend, James, standing there. His hair was in a mess as always, and his glasses were askew, but Sirius still sunk under his gaze and mumbled something under his breath. “You know what fine! I don't even care.. sue me for being worried for my poor baby brother's well being.”

“Sirius for the last time, they’ve talked on the phone before! It will be fine, and if it isn't, there are always other fish in the sea.” James said in an impossibly convincing manner. He was always standing up for Regulus, despite how rude the younger boy was.

Regulus let out a huff of air from his nose and crossed his arms. He leaned back further into the couch and in a quiet voice murmured, “Yeah hop of my dick.” He didn't even glance up when he said it, Sirius’ jaw dropped and he let out a loud groan and stormed off to his room, his curly mane of hair bouncing with each stomp.

He almost slammed his door behind him, just to be dramatic, but instead light closed it. His eyes wandered around the cluttered room, despite only moving into their new dorm two days ago, his room looked like it had been inhabited for years. Even though there was barely enough room for his things, he still managed.

He quickly made himself at home by packing the walls with posters and the desk with books and art supplies. He threw himself onto his bed and screamed into his pillow. The Sound reverberated through his ears and at the same time he heard the door to their dorm slam. His body seemed to react faster to the sound than he could register, and his legs brought him back up as he left his room to see what was happening.

He entered the main room again just to see that Regulus and James had left together. No text or anything! Sirius could not believe the audacity they had. In spite of his anger, he couldn't help but smile at his brother and best friend's growing friendship.

When Sirius was 16, he made the worst decision of his life. He left his brother behind. He ran away to James’ house and left his brother. He left him with those monsters. He knew his brother wasn't weak, quite the opposite actually, but without Sirius there to fight his battles, he was worried sick. Much to his horror, when he returned back to school after that summer, his brother was gone. He asked around his brothers housemates, and even his best of friends, but none of them had heard a word from Regulus.

After much panic, a letter from another prestigious boarding school came directly to Sirius. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the neat cursive writing that signed the back of the envelope.

To Sirius Black

It was Regulus’. He tore the letter open in a beast like manor, everyone who saw was just watching in shock. His eyes skimmed over the letter and a grin grew on his once worried face. He handed the letter over to James whose face soon also had a smile spread across it.

Dear Sirius,

I hope this letter finds you well. Mother and Father have sent me to Dumstrang. I remember you saying you were going to James Potter's house in a haze one day. I never thought you actually would. I also never thought I would ask this but they have left me with no choice. If it would be okay with the Potter’s, I would like to accompany you at their manor.

This summer was terrible. More than usual. They are trying to get me into the cult. I can not be a part of this family. Please respond soon.

R.A.B.

That winter, Regulus did accompany them at the POtter’s. Euphemia, james’ mom, was over the moon when she heard of Regulus coming over, and soon he was also a member of the Potter’s family.

It certainly was not easy, but soon Sirius and Regulus’ relationship healed. They fight a lot still, but the love is strong.

However, Regulus and James never got on much. Sirius of course hated this fact, as James was basically a second brother. But, they all ended up scoring a three bedroom dorm that was in the same hall as their other friends.

Now as Sirius looks around their dorm, a small smile grows on his face. There were pictures, records, and love everywhere. You could tell it was a home. And, Regulus and James were hanging out without Siriis forcing them too. Of course, he still hadn't forgotten of Regulus’ attitude earlier, but there were more important issues at hand.

The urgent knocking at the door.

Sirius jumped in shock, quickly wondering how long the person had been standing at the other side of the door, but soon came to his senses and hurried over to get it.

“I'm coming! I'm coming! God why does no one here have.. pai.. tience.. Hello, how can I help you!” He said as the annoyed tone in his voice slowly slipped into a shocked one. He had to bend his neck up to see the man standing in front of him, but it was worth it. A six foot something hunk of man was gracing Sirius with his presence. His tanned skin was adorned with scars and freckles. Curly, dark brown hair stuck in in some places, similar to James’ hair, but it still looked perfect.

The man seemed to be lost in thought as he stared at Sirius but soon life came back into his eyes and he cleared his throat before he started talking. “Oh, uhm, h-hello. I'm here for Regulus?” He murmured, in a shy, deep voice. Sirius almost dropped to his knees there. But then he processed what the man said.

Here for Regulus. Sirius racked his brain for any mention of a man from Regulus, and then it snapped. Regulus’ new fling. Sirius quickly cleared his throat in shock and looked down at the man's brown docs. He didn't know Regulus was having the boy over today. He also didn't know that Regulus liked men like the man in front of him.

Sirius cleared his throat once more and looked back up at the man with a tight, fake smile. “Oh what a shame.. he's not home right now. But why don't you just come in? He should be back soon.” He said, in what he hoped was a cheerful, welcoming voice. He smiled up at the man again and moved out of the way so the man could walk in.

The man's cheeks flushed with a light rosy color that was almost invisible in contrast to his skin, but it caught Sirius’ eye. “Im Sirius by the way, Regulus’ brother.. and roommate. Tea?” The words spilled out of Sirius’ mouth in a rushed way, and he was almost embarrassed until the man opened his mouth again.

“Oh right. Sirius. I'm Remus, and tea would be great. Do happen to know when Regulus will be home. I have to uhm.. discuss things with him.” The man, Remus, stuttered out the words as if he was afraid to ask. He curtly sat down at one of the kitchenettes stools and stared down at his hands while Sirius put the water to boil.

Sirius scoffed under his breath and quickly tied up his hair to keep it out of his eyes. He thought he heard a choked sound from behind him, but when he turned around Remus was just staring at him with wide eyes. “Oh well.. I think him and James just went to get some snacks from downstairs.” Sirius muttered as he attempted to read Remus’ expression.

He shook his head and turned around to continue pouring water into the kettle. A slight breeze flowed through the kitchen and he let out a shiver. He looked down at his attire and realized what he answered the door in. He was still in his pajamas. Which consisted of loose blue boxers and a baggy David Bowie shirt. With haste, he put the water to boil and turned around to lean on the counter.

Against his will, his body let out a small giggle at Remus’ seemingly distressed state. The taller boy's eyes snapped up at Sirius, and they made eye contact. “So, Remus, what type of tea would you like?” He said in what he was hoping to be a seductive voice. Remus was just so tense looking, he couldn't help himself but to tease.

“Uh.. I-I uhm..” Remus rushed out and turned his head away to clear his throat, yet again. Sirius tilted his head in a grin and raised his eyebrows at Remus. “Sorry.. I’ll take anything.”

Sirius shook his head with that same grin on his face and turned around back to the cabinets. He went on his tippy toes and opened the small doors only to find the tea boxes at the very top shelf. James.

He let out a sigh of defeat and turned back to Remus, who was watching him with curious eyes. “I.. I can't reach the tea.” Sirius muttered in a shy voice, avoided eye contact with Remus out of embarrassment.

It's not like Sirius was even that short, standing at a big 5’7. Other people might beg to differ, but that was average in Sirius books. He kept his gaze down to his feet until he heard a small laugh from in front of him. His head snapped up and he watched Remus shake his head with a small, dimpled smile playing at his lips. He rose from the stoll and sauntered over to where Sirius was.

He cleared his throat and Sirius came out of his daze and realizedthat he was standing right in Remus’ way of the cabinet. He took a few steps to the side and moved out of Remus’ path and connected his eyes to his movement.

With ease, Remus reached up and grabbed the earl grey box from the shelf. Just as fast as it happened, it was over. ANyone would be crazy if they said there wasnt tension in the room. Sirius started to open his mouth but the shut it closed. This was his brothers new boyfriend.

He shut his mouth in a tight lined smile and took the box from Remus. “Thanks..” uttered and place the box down on the counter. He grabbed a plain, purple mug that their friend had made them and placed the tea bag in it. Just as he did so, the kettle went off.

He practically jumped out of his skin and let out a little yelp. He had never been so embarrassed in his life.

In a hurry to get this over with, he poured the water into the mug and brought it back to the small bar, where Remus had sat down once again. He placed it down with a small smile and turned around to avoid the dark brown eyes of the man.

“Cheers mate.” Remus croaked and took a sip, even though there was still steam rising from the drink.

Sirius let out a small hum and closed the cabinets, just then, the door to the flat opened and Regulus and James’ voice filled the room.

“I just don't understand why someone would shove a stick so far up your arse!” Regulus’ usually quiet voice exaggerated, unaware of the extra person in the room.

“Oh yeah? Well I don't understand why you're so… so… You!” James spat back in an attempt to return the insult. The door actually slammed this time and Sirius flinched back in shock. He slowed and turned around to see the damage. JAmes and Regulus were glaring at each other like two cats about to pounce.

Sirius shocked him and gave Remus an apologetic expression. Much to his surprise, Remus’ hand was covering his mouth, and it looked like he was holding back a laugh. He slowly turned his head to Sirius and their eyes locked on eachother. Sirius and Remus’ body both seem to react at the same time and they bursted out laughing.

Genuine tears started to roll down Sirius’ face at the view in front of him. His body was shaking with laughter and he had to drip the counter to stop himself from falling over. He suspected the same was happening to Remus as he heard a sound similar to a hand hitting a counter.

After it seemed like forever, their laughter sizzled down into just panting. They locked eyes again and smiled at each other with tear stained cheeks. However, their moment was broken when they heard someone clear their throat to their left.

Both of their heads snapped to the side in fear, the two boys had become forgotten in their humor sticken minds. “Sorry you had to see that. He was being a bitch.” Regulus sneered and crossed his arms like a child. He side eyed James with a glare that could kill.

James scoffed and grumbled some insults under his breath before saying, “yeah well he was being bitchier so.” He looked around the room and finally seemed to take in the extra body in their dorm. His eyes snapped open and he quickly hit Regulus’ arm to get his attention. Regulus let out a growl-like sound in response to the small hit, but then also took in the boy.

“Hi, do you happen to be Regulus Black?” Remus geussed, with a raised eyebrow. “It's Remus.. we were supposed to meet. At this time. Today.” He added. The silence in the room only grew as Regulus stared. Remus finished up his tea and shot a thanking grin at Sirius before pulling a folded paper out of his pocket.

He started his way towards the door and Regulus and handed the papers to Regulus’ outstretched hand. “Right well.. I hope you have a pen. You just need to sign these last few agreements.”

“Oh fuck. Oh shit. I just remembered our meeting. I'm not usually this a mess I swear.. but yeah I’ll sign them.” Regulus babbled out like a lost child. Sirius snorted from behind him and all heads snapped towards him. The situation at hand was finally making sense. And Sirius felt like an idiot.
