Chapter 1

—Present - “God’s” pov-

James walked into the elevator with Dumbledore, heading straight to heaven, only to be taken away by the other archangels for questioning after what had just happened, which was a conflict of interest for Metatron Dumbledore.
James was chained up in his own pocket dimension with Lily, who was keeping guard as the Metatron used his will as an ‘archangel’ to pick over dear James memories.
But I fear that instead of listening to the all-knowing, he insists on doing it his way.

Lily and James and the metatron.

'And how exactly did he expect we trust him the moment he stepped into heaven?’ she said to Dumbledore

“I do not know, but for now, we must recall everything he has experienced with this demon, Regulus.” I could look over the whole first coming over Satan's son, but he must not interfere with my next plans,” Dumbledore explains. Lily responded with a small "mhm.”

Dumbledore and Lily put their hands on James unconscious head and clicked with their other hand, gaining access to James’s mind.

— Somewhere in the stars before time began–

Regulus had always loved stars; he even had made a whole constellation with one star with his name on it.

-Regulus (lights?) pov –

He was flying here with his wings flapping with a big scroll in hand and a long bar in hand as a bright light passed him.
“Excuse me? Hello?” Regulus exclaimed as the light came closer who seemed to be this unknown angel with pretty brown hair
“Yes? He answered, “Could you hold this for a moment?" Regulus said as he pushed it into this unknown angel's hands.
The angel just sighed and held it out for him as Regulus got his long bar in hand and pointed to the paper, and it seemed to interconnect like twine. “Im James” He said as Regulus paid no mind as he continued what he was doing

“On three! One two three!” he exclaimed as he twisted the bar.
“Love it,” he said as he smiled.
The man awkwardly smiled and asked, “What are we waiting for?” he asked, and Regulus replied, “Well, the engines are warming up, or have I forgotten something?” as he grabbed the paper out of the man's hands and searched for something.
“Aha! I knew I had forgotten something," he turned to the abyss and exclaimed, “Let there be light.”
As he said, the cosmos and stars exploded everywhere in the surrounding area.
“That's all good and all, but Metatron Dumbledore has plans to shut this down in a few thousand years.”
“What? But some of these stars wouldn't have formed by then! It would be all a waste.
What's the point of having a solar system with millions of stars and you're only going to keep it running for a few thousand years? What's the point?” Regulus replied
“The point? Well, you have heard of Earth? He said as Regulus looked to the side,
"Well, it's a blue-green planet, somewhere over there when it gets started. Well, the people we are designing are going to live there.”
He replied and continued, “We are starting with a breeding pair, and soon there will be plenty of them as time goes on.
You're what do you call them?” he asked gesturing to the abyss, “Stars and constellations,” Regulus replied

“Right Your stars and constellations will be for the people to look out on.” The man finished,
“Well, it's not just some fancy wallpaper! Trillions of galaxies, many constellations, all for people to look out on.”
Regulus exclaimed in fury “One must not question the almighty.” James replied,
“Well, if I were the Almighty, I would have a suggestion box or something I could put my ideas in, don't you think?” Regulus said, “I don't think it's our place to suggest a suggestion box, and I do believe it's a bit rude to say that.” James finished.

“Well, if I were in charge, I would want a fresh point of view!’ Regulus said before James interjected, “I like The greeny-blue bit in the corner of the constellations very yes, Look word for wise. I’d hate for Dumbledore to suspect you or get you into trouble.” James finished "Thanks; I wouldn't worry, though. how much trouble can I get for just speaking my mind?” Regulus finished
