Dumbledore began to despair as it had been a week since he had heard from the savior of the magical world and his potions master. After the first 24 hours of absence he first thought that his spy had turned against him with the coming of the Dark Lord. Indeed, he would have delivered the young Potter to show his sincerity to Lord Voldemort. However, the dark side made no move to celebrate their capture of The-boy-who-lived. No appearance from Tom that his destined enemy was no longer an obstacle.

Then on the second day he thought Harry was dead. But a short visit to Gringotts confirmed that he was not. On the other hand he may have aroused suspicion of the goblins towards him. He had tried to see the records of international magical travel. For this he had of course manipulated the minister of magic. And again there were no leads. Dumbledore didn't know if the boy had been kidnapped or had run away. He didn't know whether his two pawns were together or not.

By the end of the week the principal was at the end of his rope. His mask of a kindly grandfather was beginning to crack. He was nervous, and hardly slept at all. The principal had to do his research alone. He could not ask the Order of the Phoenix to find Harry. Because he would have to find a possible excuse for the fact that the young man had disappeared on his watch. But he had no such excuse. In addition, he had to ask Horace Slughorn to come and replace Severus Snape in extremis. The portraits were laughing at him, giving him mocking looks during the day. Albus Dumbledore had the impression that this was only the beginning. He grumbled and bit into a lemon candy furiously.

While Dumbledore worries that his plans are compromised with the disappearance of Professor Snape and Harry Potter. Others are worried about their well being.

The teaching staff were desperate for news about the disappearance of their colleague and student. They were also frustrated that their principal was keeping it a secret. Albus Dumbledore refused to answer their questions about the progress of his investigation. He went so far as to cast a spell so that no information about their disappearance would leak from the castle. They began to doubt their Headmaster's motives and even their loyalty to him.

Only one teacher was happy about the events. It was none other than Dolores Umbridge. She was appointed as this year's new Dark Arts teacher. She was delighted that the boy who survived was gone. And she didn't care what happened to him or to Snape. However, she was frustrated that she couldn't contact the ministry. She knew that Dumbledore was watching her. But it wouldn't be long before she had to take down Albus Dumbledore. She would do anything to get it done.

Only Neville and the Weasley twins were truly concerned about their friend's disappearance and puzzled about their Potions teacher's. Young Longbottom watched in disappointment as Hermione and Ron went to court as if everything was normal. They didn't care that Harry had vanished overnight. He sighed. I hope you're okay, Harry. "Don't worry, Neville. The nargles told me he was safe. Soon the truth will come out." She said in a dreamy tone as she passed him by. He watched his friend Luna for a long time before nodding. Neville takes a deep breath before he too goes to his next class.

Since their last discussion Severus and Harry hadn't talked much except about their survival, especially that of the student. They had decided that Harry would take half the nutrient potions this month and the rest in the second month. They would both use a corner of the room with the lights off to do their business and a spell to clean them and another to cover up the noise. Snape had made the decision not to give him any more dreamless potions. And to help him with his nightmares he had advised him to meditate.

However, the words of the young Potter still echoed in his head. He had started calling him Mr. Potter again. I really cling to these memories that I forget to live in the present. But no, Severus, you are not going to pay attention to his nonsense. He's just a kid, he doesn't know what he's doing... He growls in frustration.

For Harry his second night in the jail cell was horrible. He was screaming, struggling in his dreams. "No! No! No! Not Cedric! Please no!" His teacher sighed and approached his student. "Mr. Potter! Harry! Harry, wake up! Listen to my voice, it's your potion teacher Severus Snape talking to you. Har..." The young man woke up with a shrill cry. He was panting. Severus had lit up the room and gave him a calming potion. He nodded his thanks. But he did not go back to sleep. The next day he was like a sleepy, exhausted zombie. This lasted for the next three days. Snape knew he was not going to keep up this pace. So on the fifth night, he sat down next to him and began to struggle and scream. He held his arms and spoke softly to him. He lay down with him. Once he realized that he was calm, he tried to get up, but it was difficult. Harry had his tunic tied up in his stitches. He grumbled. Snape lay down with the younger man against him. He knew that he could separate himself from him easily but despite himself he didn't have the heart to wake him up. And now what do I become Mr. Potter's stuffed animal? He grumbles again, grabs the blanket the teenager is using and covers him with it. He didn't need it, he wasn't cold anymore. It was in fact the cloak of Harry that he had transfigured later. It still had the spell to keep warm on it.

When Harry woke up, he was rested and felt safe. He had never felt this way before. Even with his friends. I wonder how Neville, the twins and Luna are doing. He frowned. His best friends were the first people that came to mind. But they are my best friends. No ? He was confused and it wasn't the first time it had happened to him. "Mr. Potter, would you be so kind as to let go of my tunic?" Snape's voice startled him, cutting off his thoughts. He froze and began to blush with embarrassment. He drops his teacher's tunic and sits down. Harry was still sore from his uncle, but it was bearable. "Good morning, professor". He greeted him shyly. "Bonjour Mr. Potter." Severus gets up and returns to his seat. " Professor I...I...I'm really sorry I bothered you again last night. I..." Harry said with downcast eyes. The potions master sighed. "It's okay, Mr. Potter."

The Gryffindor spent his day meditating while the head of Slytherin House played between writing in his potion notebook and reading books on it. When bedtime came, the teenager looked down and played with his hands while sitting on his makeshift bed. Severus grunted angrily. "Come along Mr. Potter." The youth looked at him uncertainly. "Come on Harry before I change my mind." The Slytherin stated with a sigh. Harry leapt to his feet grabbed his blanket and rushed to join Snape on the blanquette. Meanwhile the older man transfigured the mattress into a pillow and levitated it to him. Harry gave him a small smile of thanks as he placed the pillow behind him. He lay down with the blanket over him. "Good night Professor Snape." Severus stared at him closing his eyes. I just invited a Potter to sleep next to me. By Merlin's beard I'm going senile. "Good night, Harry." He finally replies. He stops the light spell and closes his eyes.

Almost an hour after the teenager fell asleep he felt little arms encircling him. He froze, not used to such close human contact. The vampire opened his eyes and glared at his student. What have I done to deserve this ?

And this for the rest of the week.
