Summary
Elena Briarwood was a wolf shifter. When the ministry of magic finds out she is expelled from hogwarts. With the help of her caring father like teacher Remus Lupin she moves to New York to pursue a life on stage.*I do not own Harry Potter, or any of the characters except my own original ones*

After some time of me sitting alone in the Astronomy Tower, drinking a bottle of whiskey, a crumpled letter in my hand. Professor Lupin found me, it was clear from his face that he was worried about me. All he could see of the letter was the word expulsion.
“Elena?”
I look up at him, “They found out…”
I was a wolf shifter, which meant I had werewolf blood running through my veins and I could shift into a wolf, but instead of being limited to shifting just at the full moon I could shift any time. I was also the only student who knew the Professor Lupin is a werewolf. He looked down at me sympathetically, "I'm so sorry"
"It's fine..." I mutter.
