Note
So Sirius is just like us and reads fanfiction in public, which will get him into trouble.English is not my first language so chill, this was supposed to be smut but then the introduction was long and fun so I will let it be for a while, see if you like it, maybe add a second chapter of deranged smut.I've never written smut help.Teacher - student dynamic, don't like don't read. Don't ruin it for us fun people :)

It’s the third class of the day, and Sirius’s attention has started to wander away from the professor’s lecture. Honestly, it’s not even Sirius’ fault; you try to concentrate with unmedicated ADHD. The main issue is that when Sirius likes something, he doesn’t enjoy it like any other human being; no, he hyper-fixates on things until he has exhausted them and integrated them into his personality.

This week’s obsession is, of course, Arcane. After having cried all his tears with James on the Potter’s couch and watched every possible heart-breaking edit on TikTok; only one question arose: EVERYONE IN THE SERIES IS QUEER SO WHY NOT JAYCE AND VIKTOR?

Since the writers hold a strong liking to ‘the power of friendship’ and nothing can be done about it until they possibly publish a third season, the only rational conclusion to this major problem is to tame his heart with fan fiction.

That’s how Sirius finds himself stuck in the middle of a lecture, extremely absorbed in the story he’s reading. He subtly lowers the screen’s brightness, hoping that nobody will notice how his leg starts to fidget and a blush creeps up his neck.
Reading smut in public is risky, and probably immoral, but he’s so focused and even if he were to put down his phone now he would keep wondering what happens next.

"Jayce sits down in front of Viktor’s desk, his eyes are pleading and Viktor knows that he would do anything for forgiveness, and maybe he is not strong enough man to turn down the opportunity to have this boy at his mercy."

‘Mr Black, since what you’re reading on your phone is so interesting you wouldn’t mind sharing it with the class?’
The voice of Professor Lupin cuts through his fogged-up mind, Sirius looks up like a deer in headlights and meets the professor’s eyes. Rosy cheeks, sweat running down his scalp and short fast breaths. Sirius feels dirty, how on earth did he think this was a good idea, he feels humiliated as if everyone can read it on his face ‘yes I was reading porn in class, sue me’.

Unable to formulate a coherent answer to the Professor’s question, Sirius ends up emitting a squeaky sound and hopes Lupin will read the room and have mercy on him.
‘Mr Black could you stand up and read what’s on your phone to the class?’
His classmates have started to take notice of the stand-off between him and Lupin, some are even snickering. Bastards having fun at his expense, as if nobody had ever used their phone during class before.

‘I’d rather not, I’m sorry Professor’
The plead in his eyes moves something in Lupin that lets him off the hook, avoiding the public humiliation that was soon to follow if he had insisted.
But Sirius doesn’t even have time for a sigh of relief that Lupin is next to his desk in two quick strides, swiftly taking his phone and whispering next to his ear
‘I’ll be taking this then, seems only fair. Pay attention Mr Black’

And then he’s back at his desk. With Sirius’ unlocked phone in hand. With the ao3 tab open.

The class keeps working on the assigned exercises, while Sirius can’t focus on anything but Lupin.
Sitting back in his chair, spreading his legs to get comfortable and eyeing the screen for a split second before his eyes snap up to Sirius in recognition.
The two men stare at each other, everyone else oblivious to their exchange and Sirius begs in his head, screams for his professor not to look into it more, to just let it be. But as if Lupin could hear his pleading, he answers with the slowest smirk that forms on his lips followed by a fucking wink.

Jesus this man is going to kill him.

The last 20 minutes of the lecture are spent in this limbo of electric embarrassment and Sirius is ashamed to admit that he has never been more turned on in his life.
His eyes have never left Lupin and often enough he’s granted a small smile or an unimpressed eyebrow raise from the professor that makes Sirius squirm.

The scene in the story was getting pretty hot so Sirius can only imagine what the characters are now doing, what Lupin is reading on his phone in front of a full class. Judging by the expressiveness of the professor’s face the boy can only send a prayer that this incident will become something they laugh about and he won’t be exposed or teased for the rest of the semester.

Professor Lupin is in his mid-thirties Sirius was stupid to try and be sneaky in his class, the Professor has proved multiple times to be well aware of any trick the students could play on him, and that first look of recognition makes Sirius wonder if the archive is new to him or if the Professor has some secrets of himself.

When the bell rings his classmates stand up and James sends a questioning look his way when he remains seated. Sirius simply is in no position to stand up and walk the crowded corridors without losing his dignity so he just shakes his head.

The class has cleared, Professor Lupin and Sirius are the only ones left and the student has resigned to look at his doodled desk willing his hard-on to go down, but Lupin’s eyes on him make this last endeavour pretty difficult to accomplish.
The professor stands and heads for the door, locks it and turns to look at Sirius with a small teasing smile on his face, he looks younger more relaxed as if they are just two friends poking fun at each other.

‘Mr Black would you come to my desk please?’
Either Sirius is paranoid or the motherfucker is enjoying the double meaning a little too much.
Sirius stands and meets the professor next to the wooden desk, Lupin towers over him but Sirius doesn’t feel intimidated, just very embarrassed.

‘Look at me, should you be reading that type of content in my class Mr Black?’
Lupin is staring down at him when Sirius meets his eyes, and the "Mr Black" purred so gently is his last straw, Sirius can only whine and try to not disobey keeping his eyes on the professor.
Lupin is startled by the sound and gives Sirius a confused once over until he notices Sirius’ little problem and his breath is cut short with a hissed "fuck".

‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry this whole exchange was so hot, I don’t know what to do’
Sirius rushes the phrase out and the delivery is probably incomprehensible. The Professor is rooted in place staring at Sirius with panicked eyes.
The following five seconds of stillness feel like an eternity, the student wills his eyes to keep the tears in, rejection and humiliation burning the back of his throat.
He just wants to get out of here, why did this have to happen with his favourite professor? Sirius will have to change school because he can never look him in the eyes again. And all because his body chose to betray the little crush he has been brewing since the beginning of term.

‘It’s alright’ the Professor’s voice has dropped two octaves and he coughs to get his composure back ‘it can happen, you’re alright’
Lupin’s voice is soothing and Sirius steps into his space to calm himself down, he’s so overwhelmed he doesn’t even realise how close they had gotten and when a hand softly lands on his hip, Lupin’s thumb drawing circles with only his t-shirt as a barrier, Sirius needs to get closer, he doesn’t even think before he stands on his tiptoes and pecks his professor’s mouth.

His lips are soft and warm, Sirius can feel his breath on his face and the steady hand on his hip keeps him grounded. From this close he can discern Lupin’s scent: old books, cigarette smoke and a hint of chocolate. Sirius is instantly addicted.

The student carefully detangles himself from the embrace to give Lupin a second to gather his thoughts, he hasn’t kissed him back and it could be associated either to shock or to rejection. Sirius is hoping for the former and looks up to his Professor with his best bedroom eyes to deliver the final blow.

‘Jesus fuck, you’ll be the death of me darling’
Lupin looks at him with a mix of resignation and awe, as if he has just realised the inevitability of what is going to happen next.
No moral compass could ever stop Remus Lupin from falling into damnation per Sirius Black’s wish.
