Icarus

Ted and Andromeda were overjoyed at their new son and while Nymphadora took some getting used to the new baby she was in time quite happy with a new sibling. She was even more happy when on Icarus' second birthday his hair started to change colours with his emotions. 

Due to his unsurprising metaphorigus ability sending Rus to a muggle primary school was out of the question until he could control his ability. Being healers themselves they were quite confident in their abilities and taught Rus and Dora the basics as they grew and when Ted's parents looked after or babysat the children they would cover muggle topics. Dora started attending muggle primary when she was 8 to round out her education before Hogwarts. 

Dora taught her abilities to Rus, causing him to have better control over the changes when he was emotional, when he was 6 or 7 is when he entered primary school as by then it was at the same level that accidental magic would be.

Nothing too interesting happened in their young lives. Occasionally a witch or wizard would wonder and inquire if the young Icarus was the Harry Potter, having his emerald green eyes and the lightning scar down his face but suspicion would quickly vanish when he would be revealed to be a metamorphmagus like his older sister. As if anyone could, they would too imitate the great Harry Potter.

By year 5 of his muggle primary school Rus was told about his adoption and the heroes his biological parents were, and the nature of a blood adoption. They gave him photos of James and Lily they acquired through Dumbledore and told him the importance until after he'd grown up, until there wasn't any threat that he could not defend. He couldn't tell anyone he was the saviour not without risking his life through being targeted by those who escaped prosecution after the war. While first upset, Rus loved to hear stories of James and Lily in his final year before Hogwarts.
