Waxing Gibbous
Prologue:
Remus John Lupin was born under a waxing gibbous moon. He did not know it yet but this would define his whole life. He thought that his bite would define him, or maybe his friends and the nickname “Moony” but unfortunately the stars had a different plan for him. On this day March 10th 1960, the moon was perfectly aligned with all the other planets to make this wizard's moon sign Leo. Leo the lion sign. Leo the constellation which Regulus Black is partly named after. This moon sign would haunt Remus Lupin until the day he died. It would affect every move he made, every thought he had. For he was property of the moon and it controlled him. The lion that he was placed under, would shape his destiny

Remus
He was going to be late for the train. His mother and father had fought for so long that he was going to be late for the train. He sighed dodging through various trolleys and people all milling about the train station. He reached platform 9 and ¾, didn't waste time listening to his fathers instructions and ran through to the world that would never accept him for who he was.
You see, Remus Lupin, at the age of four, was bitten by a werewolf in the middle of the night. This of course had infected him with the disease known as lycanthropy, Which on every night of the full moon would force him to shift into the body of a wolf. The wolf which was forced to be locked up, so Remus could not hurt anyone else, would instead hurt his own body. This caused Remus to have many scars littered across his body. The worst one was two claw mark lines that ran across almost his entire face, people always stared at them, well the people that Remus had met anyway, he was very sheltered due to his disease and never believed that something dark like him could be let into hogwarts. Evidently by the fight his parents had had that morning, they can't believe it either.
He turned to his dad who was following him and began his goodbyes. “Well i'll-” Remus was interrupted by a Black haired boy bumping into him. Remus glanced at the boy and made eye contact with bright silver eyes. He looked nervous and nodded his apologies and carried on. An Older woman seemed to be dragging him towards the train Remus thought that it looked almost painful, the way she had her hands dug into the boy's shoulders. Remus turned back to his father, who had a look of anger on his face. He crouched down and grabbed the front of Remus's coat. “Listen to me son” he croaked out quietly, “You need to be careful here, Dumbledore has given you a very good opportunity, considering…” he trailed off and glanced over his shoulder, noticing the train start to give off a warning bell it would be leaving soon. Lyall moved his gaze back to his son and warned him one final time “Under no circumstances can you tell anyone what you are, you need to hide this very well, if anyone were to find out” he paused “You will be executed Remus” . The young boy looked at his father, nodded, grabbed his trunk and ran for the train, making it just in the nick of time. Lyall Lupin looked one last time at the train and Disapparated. He would not see his son until the summer.

Sirius
Sirius Black was pushed into the platform by his mother, he had been examining the muggle families nearby, having never seen them before. This of course had been caught by his mother, fortunately they were in public so she could do no more than shove him into the wizarding world that like another young boy would also never accept him for who he was but for very different reasons.
You see Sirius Black had been born to “The Most Noble And Ancient House Of Black”. Which meant his blood was defined as “Pure”. Most definitely did not feel that way. Even at the age of 11 Sirius understood he was nothing like his family, except for maybe his older cousin Andromeda, and of course his younger brother Regulus.
Speaking of his brother, he watched as Regulus’s face pinched with despair at his elder brother's treatment from their mother who had, after witnessing her son watch muggles, grabbed as tightly as possible to his shoulders and dug her nails into his robes. Walburga, who was now practically dragging Sirius, did not seem to care about their surroundings causing Sirius to bump into a tall, brown haired boy talking to his father.
The boy turned and Sirius was shocked (And surprisingly delighted) To note that the face he was staring at had wide yellow eyes. If Sirius were to place the shade of yellow he would have to say, Citrine, for they were not a pale or bright yellow, but more a shade above golden. Realizing he hasn't said sorry for bumping into the boy with nice eyes, he nodded his head once and continued on, hoping to maybe ask what his name was when he was as far away from his mother as possible.
What Sirius didn't notice at the time was that the brown haired boy, had a scar, a scar that spanned from the tip of his nose across his cheek and down to his neck, in two dual lines that anyone could tell, had been from a clawed creature. This was the first time ever that someone, when looking at Remus, had not seen his scars, and instead had been drawn to his eyes.
