Chapter 1
Godrics Hollow,
24th October 1981.
Lily Potter couldn’t be happier. She was holding her daughter, the most beautiful baby, who she had given birth to only minutes ago. James quietly entered the room, ”She is beautiful”. Lily passed the baby to him, ”Hey sweet cheeks, it's your dad”, the baby looked up at him with wide eyes, “Oh look! This time she got my eyes”, he chuckled. “Have you decided on a name, Lily?”. James looked at his wife who nodded, “Yeah, Alexandria”. James smiled, “Alexandria Potter, has a nice ring to it” he said before passing the baby back to his wife before turning to leave, “I’ll bring Harry. He is so bloody excited.”
In a few minutes James was back holding their one year old boy. “Hey Harry, this is your little sister, Alexandria”, Lily said. “Alec?” he repeated. The couple laughed. “Yes Harry, Alex. You’ll take care of her won’t you?”, “Like mama and papa?” “Yes. Like mama and papa. You’ll be the best big brother won’t you?”, Harry nodded eagerly. He crawled over to his sister and tried to hold her hands, “Small” he said looking at his mother. His parents only laughed in response, which he too joined.
