Consequences Pt. 1

2 days later

Bruce stood in the Watchtower, his expression grim as he listened to the heated discussion. Toni's hologram flickered beside him. The rest of the Avengers and several Xmen were gathered in the middle of the Justice League's meeting room, their holograms projected for the joint meeting.

"It's been three days since the robot, designated 'Ultron' by Hank Pym, leaked the Magical World to every news station on the planet, and the riots have not slowed down at all," Black Canary was telling the assembled, her voice filled with concern. Toni and Bruce exchanged a look, both wanted to let Hank Pym have it for creating a genocidal robot when they were closer to finding their firstborn than they had been in years, but Hank had quit the team and had isolated himself somewhere they couldn’t find.

Green Arrow snorted, crossing his arms. "And can you really blame people? One minute everything is fine, then you find out there's been a secret group for centuries that have hidden over 50% of the world's landmass and wiped their memories of their existence so they could stay hidden. And let's not leave out the fact that some of us in the room knew the whole time and never said anything," he said, his gaze sweeping over the Green Lanterns, Superman, Aquaman, Thor, Black Panther, Wonder Woman, and the other magically affiliated heroes in the room.

Superman stepped forward, his expression one of regret. "The magical world hasn't been comfortable with being out in the open. They were only slowly starting to open up to the idea recently. We didn't keep this secret out of malice. The magical world has its own laws and traditions, and revealing it could have caused even greater chaos. We were trying to protect both worlds."

Black Panther spoke up next. "The Wakandan witches and wizards only revealed themselves in the ‘50s, and they are still side-eyed by everyone else."

Wonder Woman shook her head. "We need to focus on finding a solution. Blaming each other won't help. We must work together to restore order and protect those who are vulnerable."

Toni's hologram flickered as she spoke up. "We need to address the immediate threat of Ultron. He's the one who caused this chaos, and he's still out there. We can't let him continue to wreak havoc."

Bruce nodded in agreement. "We need to track Ultron down and neutralize him.”

"Before this meeting is concluded, there is one more thing that needs to be discussed," Toni spoke up, looking at her husband.

Bruce nodded and addressed the room. "I need everyone to keep an eye or ear out for a boy named 'Harry Potter.'"

Several people started at the mention of the name. "Harry Potter? What do you want with Harry Potter?" John Constantine asked from his spot, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.

Both parents locked their attention on him. "We have reason to believe…" Bruce trailed off, glancing at Toni.

Toni took a deep breath and continued, "That Harry Potter is our firstborn son who was kidnapped when he was only a day old, right out of his crib. What do you know about Harry Potter?"

Constantine's eyes widened in surprise, and he exchanged a glance with Zatanna, who was standing nearby. "Harry Potter is a well-known figure in the magical world. He's famous for surviving an attack by their Dark Lord when he was just a baby.”

Bruce's jaw tightened. "We need to find him. If he's our son, he deserves to be with his family."

Zatanna stepped forward. "I can help with that. I have contacts in the magical community who can assist in locating Harry. We'll do everything we can to bring him home."

Toni's hologram flickered as she looked around the room. "Thank you. This means everything to us. Please, keep us informed of any developments."

As the meeting began to disperse, Aquaman turned to Bruce and Toni, a thoughtful expression on his face. "I believe I met Harry once, months ago," he said.

Both parents immediately snapped their attention to him. "How did you meet Harry?" Toni asked.

Aquaman began recalling the event. "Several Atlanteans and I traveled to Hogwarts, one of the magical schools, to help with the Triwizard Tournament's second task. Harry was one of the competitors."

Bruce and Toni exchanged a glance, their hearts pounding with anticipation. "What happened?" Bruce asked.

Aquaman continued, "During the task, the competitors had to retrieve something precious from the bottom of the lake. Harry was one of the first to arrive at the objective. After the task, I spoke with him briefly. For a moment, I thought he was Richard. He looked so much like him."

Mera, who had been standing nearby, joined the conversation. "I remember that. I even mentioned that he looked like a mini Bruce. It was uncanny."

Toni's breath caught in her throat as she listened. "So, you think it was him? Our Harry?"

Aquaman nodded. "I'm almost certain. He was a remarkable young man, and he had a presence about him that reminded me of both of you."

Bruce's jaw tightened. "This gives us a lead. We'll need to contact Hogwarts and see if we can get more information."

Toni placed a hand on Bruce's arm, her voice filled with hope. "We're getting closer, Bruce. We're going to find him."

Aquaman glanced at his two friends. "I'll contact the headmaster at Hogwarts and inform him of the situation. He should be able to provide more information about Harry."

Bruce's eyes narrowed slightly. "Who is the headmaster there? Do you think he could have been the one who took Harry from our house?"

Before Aquaman could respond, Constantine butted in, his tone laced with a hint of sarcasm. "It'll probably be a while before you get a response. Their last Dark Lord, Voldemort, has apparently returned from the dead and is wreaking havoc in the British wizarding world. Dumbledore is likely up to his neck in dealing with that mess."

Zatanna spoke up from the doorway "Dumbledore… I've heard of him. He's supposed to be one of the most powerful wizards alive. I doubt he was the one who kidnapped your boy, but maybe he knows more about what happened that night."

Toni's hologram flickered as she spoke up. "We need to get in touch with Dumbledore as soon as possible. If he's dealing with Voldemort, then Harry could be in even more danger."

Aquaman nodded. "I'll make the call and see what I can find out.."

Bruce and Toni exchanged a glance. "Thank you, Arthur," Bruce said. "We'll be ready."

The Order of the Phoenix gathered in the kitchen of Grimmauld Place, arguing heatedly over the recent revelation of the magical communities to the rest of the world.

"This is a disaster!" Molly exclaimed "How are we supposed to protect our children now?"

Kingsley Shacklebolt shook his head. "We need to focus on damage control. The Muggle world is in chaos, and we need to ensure the safety of our own."

Sirius threw his hands in the air, his frustration evident. "How in Merlin's name did a suit of armor manage to reveal us to the rest of the world? This Ultron thing shouldn't even know we exist!"

Remus, sitting beside Sirius, nodded in agreement.

Moody growled, his magical eye whirling in its socket. "We need to find out how Ultron got this information. There must be a leak somewhere."

Snape, who had been listening quietly, spoke up. "It's possible that this Ultron hacked into muggle government records and found our dealings with them."

Tonks added from across the table "And we need to figure out how to protect ourselves from the fallout. The Muggle world is already reacting badly. We can't afford to let this escalate further."

Sirius sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I just can't believe this is happening. How the hell is this even possible?"

Later that evening, Dumbledore sat in his office at Hogwarts, the soft glow of candlelight casting shadows on the walls. He was deep in thought when a message arrived from one of his contacts in the muggle world. The message was brief but startling: two colleagues of hers believed that Harry Potter was their long-lost son, who had been kidnapped as a baby.

Dumbledore frowned as he read the message, his mind racing with questions. He had always found it peculiar how Lily and James had come to have Harry. The story of the two mysterious figures who had stepped out of portals and given Harry to them had never sat right with him. He had several suspects in mind for who those individuals might have been, but he wasn't willing to accuse anyone until he was certain. And besides, one was now dead as of two months ago.

Taking a deep breath, Dumbledore instructed her to invite the couple to Hogwarts so they could get to the bottom of this matter. He wanted to meet them in person and hear their story firsthand.

After sending the message, Dumbledore sat back in his chair and stroked his beard thoughtfully. The possibility that Harry might have been taken from his true parents was troubling. He knew that if this were true, it would have significant implications for Harry and his future.

As he pondered the situation, Dumbledore resolved to approach this matter with the utmost care and sensitivity. Harry had already been through so much, and he deserved to know the truth about his origins. Dumbledore would do everything in his power to ensure that justice was served and that Harry's well-being was protected.

The next day, Dumbledore sat in his office, his eyes fixed on the door as he awaited the arrival of the Muggle couple. The room was filled with a sense of anticipation, the air heavy with the weight of the potential revelation.

When the door finally opened, Bruce and Toni Wayne stepped into the room. Dumbledore immediately noted the striking similarities between them and Harry. The man, Bruce, had a strong jawline and dark hair that was slightly tousled, much like Harry's. If Dumbledore didn't know better, he would have assumed that Bruce and James Potter were twins. The resemblance was uncanny.

Toni, on the other hand, shared some of Harry's more delicate features. Her eyes were the same shade of green as Harry's, and her hair, though styled differently, had the same unruly quality that Harry often struggled with. It was clear that Harry had inherited his messy hair from her.

Dumbledore rose from his seat, extending a hand in greeting. "Mr. and Mrs. Wayne, thank you for coming. Please, have a seat."

Bruce and Toni exchanged a glance before sitting down across from Dumbledore.

"Thank you for seeing us, Professor Dumbledore," Bruce said, his voice steady.

Dumbledore nodded "I understand that you believe Harry Potter may be your long-lost son. I must admit, the resemblance is quite remarkable."

Toni's eyes filled with tears as she spoke. "We lost our son when he was just a day old. He was taken from his crib, and we've been searching for him ever since. When we heard about Harry, we couldn't ignore the possibility."

Dumbledore leaned forward, his gaze compassionate. "I can see how much this means to you. I assure you, we will get to the bottom of this. Harry deserves to know the truth about his origins."

Bruce nodded, his jaw clenched with determination. "Thank you, Professor. We just want to make sure he's safe and that he knows he has a family who loves him."

Dumbledore smiled gently. "I will do everything in my power to help you, but first, how did you come to the conclusion that Harry was your son?”

Toni took a deep breath, her hands trembling slightly as she reached into her bag and pulled out a letter. She handed it to Dumbledore. "We received this letter from one of Harry's friends, Hermione Granger. She was concerned about Harry and reached out to us."

Dumbledore took the letter and began to read, his expression growing more serious with each passing moment. When he finished, he looked up at Toni and Bruce.

Toni continued, "Hermione mentioned that Harry had recently gone through a traumatic experience and that he had learned about his true parentage through a DNA test. We had the test results verified multiple times, and they confirmed that Harry is our son. We just want to make sure he's safe and that he knows he has a family who loves him. We want to be there for him, to support him through everything he's been through."

Dumbledore nodded. "I understand. Harry deserves to know his parents. For now, I will arrange for you to meet with Harry."

Toni and Bruce exchanged a hopeful glance, their hearts filled with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. "Thank you, Professor Dumbledore," Toni said softly. "We appreciate everything you're doing for us and for Harry."

Bruce leaned forward, his expression serious. "I'm curious about how Lily and James Potter came to have our son the same night he vanished from our house. Can you tell us what happened?"

Dumbledore nodded "Of course. It's a rather unusual tale, and one that has always left me with questions."

He took a deep breath before beginning. "Lily and James Potter were members of the Order of the Phoenix, a group dedicated to fighting Voldemort and his followers. One night they came back to the headquarters with Harry, and said that during a battle with Death Eaters, two mysterious figures appeared. They stepped out of portals and effortlessly dispatched the Death Eaters.

Dumbledore continued, "These figures approached Lily and James and handed them a baby, claiming that this child was destined to defeat Voldemort and save our world. They said that Harry, possessed a unique power that would grow as he did."

Toni's eyes filled with tears as she listened to the story. "So, they just handed Harry over to them without any explanation of where he came from?"

Dumbledore nodded. "Yes, it was a very peculiar situation. Lily and James were shocked and confused, but they accepted the child and vowed to protect him. They raised Harry as their own, and he grew up believing that they were his biological parents."

Bruce's jaw tightened. "Do you have any idea who those two figures might have been?"

Dumbledore stroked his beard thoughtfully. "Lily and James mentioned that the male of the group had a golden helmet on his head. This detail has always stood out to me."

Both parents looked at each other, their expressions shifting. Bruce's face became stormy, a dark cloud of realization settling over him.

Toni's voice was filled with anger. "I want to know why he was taken from us."

Dumbledore nodded in agreement. "I will do everything in my power to help you uncover the truth. For now, let us focus on reuniting you with Harry and ensuring his safety."

"Professor Dumbledore, why did this Dark Lord of yours attack our son when he was just a baby?"

Dumbledore sighed, leaning back in his chair. "There was a prophecy made about a year before Harry was given to Lily and James. This prophecy foretold the coming of a child who would have the power to vanquish the Dark Lord."

He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts before reciting the prophecy:

"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born from outside the wizarding world, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies...and the boy will strike down the Dark Lord, bridging the gap between three worlds, and lead the wizarding world into a new era."
