The Potter Brothers Returns

Sophelia "Sophie" jumped out of bed, as soon as she heard her aunt's raspy voice screech, "Get up, THIS INSTANT!"

This was an uncommon occurrence since she usually tended to linger in her bed, savoring the last few moments of Dursley-free atmosphere. Her big brothers was returning home today! AND, she would be going to Hogwarts back with them this time. She was feeling nervous and excited at the same time.

She quickly washed and dressed, and then bounded down the steps two at a time. Uncle Vernon looked up over the edge of his newspaper and gave an approving nod when he saw her long, wavy, dark red hair neatly tied in a ponytail.

She almost gagged at the sight of her enormous cousin, Dudley, his blond hair scattered untidily over his large, sweaty forehead; and bits of fried egg dribbling out of the corners of his mouth. He grinned at Sophie and hastily put some bacon in his mouth.

"You, girl, get over here and finish moping the floor," said Aunt Petunia as she handed over a mop for Sophie to clean a smooth, shiny, polished kitchen floor. Unable to feel grumpy today, Sophie silently took the mop and got to work.

Half and hour later, the doorbell rang and Uncle Vernon gave a heavy sigh that made the curtains flap noiselessly. Sophie, abandoning all work, flew to the door and threw it open. Outside stood five, tall, messy haired, emerald green-eyed/stormy blue-eyed boys, grinning back at her.

"Oh, HARRY, HENRY, COLE, CHRIS, CJ!" cried Sophie joyfully and leaped at her brother, enclosing him in a bear hug.

"Sophie," said Harry and Henry breathlessly," We missed you so much!" Cole, Chris and CJ finished while hugging her.

"Ahem," said Aunt Petunia," Might I suggest that you continue this little love fest upstairs in your room."

"NOW!" boomed Uncle Vernon, and the boys and Sophie took to their heels, dragging the boys' school trunks behind them.

Once, upstairs, the boys surveyed their sister with a titled head, and said, "You've grown thinner, Sophie, once we get some meat back on those bag of bones, all the boys in Hogwarts will be prowling after you. I trust you got your Hogwarts letter. Ron has invited us to stay at his house for the summer. We will be going tomorrow. Ron's father will come and pick us up."

"He will? Oh, I'm so nervous, what if Ron and Hermione don't like me?" Sophie said.

"How can they meet you and not like you? And besides, you must learn not to be afraid of people." Henry told her, while Cole packing Sophie's clothes, Chris and CJ let sure the important things like her medication in her personal stuff.

The rest of the day passed quickly: with her brothers back, Sophie did not have to worry about Dudley punching her, or Aunt Petunia refusing her dinner, as the Dursleys were afraid of her brothers and their "dreadful pointy stick". After dinner, Sophie went to bed and curled up to her brothers as Harry wrapped a protective arm around her. Yes, it was good to have her brothers back.
