Summary
In the aftermath of the first war, Bellatrix manages to hide from the Aurors by disguising herself as a mundane teacher. Unfortunately, while she may have escaped the tortures of Azkaban, she hasn't escaped the torturous reminders of her past.

The student was a name on the register. "Hermione Granger"—absent ill—otherwise unremarkable.
