The first date
Chapter 9: The first date.
A few days later we got a letter from my parents congratulating us.
I showed it to Severus and he read though it.
Dear Elizabeth and Severus,
Congratulations on your courting. I look forward to hearing how it goes.
I love you, Mother/Cissy
"Hmm." Said Severus. "Speaking of courting, we haven't gone on any dates yet." He said.
"No, we haven't."
"Would you like to go out this afternoon?"
"Yes." I said, smiling.
"Great!" Said Severus happily. "I'll pick you up at 3. Try to wear muggle clothes."
I hoped the date was going to go well. The last time I went on a date, the guy did not shut up about quidittich.
At 3, Severus went to the Slytherin commen room to pick me up.
"Took you long enough." Said Pansy, grinning.
"Shut up." I said back to her. Though I supposed she was right. We did take our time.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Carlotta. It's a muggle Italian restaurant in London."
"Oh! I've been there with Mother and Father!" I said excitedly. I like it there. Good food.
Severus offers me his arm, and we apperate to the restaurant. We apper in an alley and walk the rest of the way. Can't have the muggles wondering why to people randomly appeared out of nowhere. Good thing Severus said to wear muggle clothes.
We walked in. Severus talked to the host about our reservation, while I look around. Just like I remembered it.
The host lead us to our table, and told us a waitress would come by in a few minutes.
I looked though the menu. Soon the waiter came and we placed our orders.
"So, what do you think?" Asked Severus.
"I like it so far."
Soon the waitress came back with our food. Severus had ordered some wine, but wouldn't let me have any. Somthing about how the muggle drinking age. I mean seriously. I just want to try some muggle alcohol. No body cares how old you are.
We talked for a while, and too soon the date came to an end.
"We better get back to Hogwarts." Said Severus.
"Yeah, we should." I say. We leave and apperate from the alley.
We appear in Hogsmede, at the apperation point.
"Did you enjoy the date?" Asked Severus.
"Yes, did you?" I said.
"Yes." Said Severus smiling. "I did."
He took my hand, and we walked back to the castle.
