Sanctuary
Lucius and Draco departed for the headquarters, leaving Severus and Hermione alone. Severus insisted on accompanying Hermione to her flat, his concern for her safety outweighing any other considerations.
"I can go alone," Hermione protested, but Severus was adamant. "I'll be quick," he promised. "I'll check the place and then you can gather your belongings."
Hermione knew better than to argue. She needed to get her things, especially her stash. It was her lifeline, her solace in the chaos.
Upon reaching her flat, Severus meticulously inspected every room, his wand drawn and ready. Satisfied that there were no immediate threats, he allowed Hermione to enter.
"Five minutes," he warned, his gaze unwavering.
Hermione nodded, rushing into her bedroom. She quickly packed a few clothes and toiletries, but her true focus was on her stash. She grabbed her stash of weed, rolling papers, and lighters, along with her prescription medication, a bottle of rum, and a can of coke.
With her bag packed, she emerged from the bedroom, panting slightly. "Can you shrink these bags?" she asked, gesturing towards the heavy luggage.
Severus paused, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. "Why don't you do it yourself?" he questioned.
Hermione hesitated, her cheeks flushing. "I... I can't," she stammered. "Roland broke my wand."
A surge of anger washed over Severus. He clenched his fist, his knuckles turning white. "That bastard," he growled, punching the wall.
Hermione flinched, her heart pounding. "It's okay," she whispered, trying to calm him down. "Let's just go."
Severus took a deep breath, regaining his composure. "We're leaving," he said, his voice firm.
With that, they left the flat, a sense of urgency propelling them forward. As they walked, Hermione couldn't shake the feeling of relief. She was finally safe, or at least as safe as she could be.

The headquarters of Snape & Malfoy Potions and Pharmaceuticals were a stark contrast to Hermione's cluttered flat. Located in a renovated warehouse on the outskirts of London, the building was a blend of industrial chic and magical ingenuity. Exposed brick walls were adorned with intricate tapestries, and gleaming metal surfaces reflected the warm glow of magically lit sconces.
Severus led Hermione through a labyrinth of corridors, his long strides barely slowed by her hurried pace. He pushed open a heavy oak door, revealing a spacious room bathed in soft light. A plush four-poster bed dominated one corner, while a comfortable seating area occupied another. A large window offered a panoramic view of the city skyline.
"This will be your room," Severus announced, his voice echoing slightly in the spacious room. "It's warded and protected. You'll be safe here."
Hermione surveyed the room, a sense of awe washing over her. It was a far cry from her cramped flat, a haven of peace and tranquility.
"It's beautiful," she breathed, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Make yourself comfortable," Severus said, a rare smile gracing his lips. "I'll have someone bring you some food and drink."
Hermione nodded, her heart filled with gratitude. She unpacked her belongings, carefully placing her stash in a hidden drawer. She then changed into comfortable clothes, eager to explore her new surroundings.
As she wandered through the headquarters, she discovered a hidden world of magic and innovation. The labs were filled with bubbling potions and strange contraptions, a testament to the combined genius of Snape and the Malfoys.
She found Lucius and Draco in the library, pouring over ancient tomes and discussing complex formulas. They welcomed her warmly, their initial reservations replaced by genuine concern and affection.
"We're glad you're here, Hermione," Lucius said, his voice sincere. "You're safe now."
Hermione smiled, a genuine smile this time. For the first time in a long time, she felt a sense of belonging, a sense of hope. The headquarters of Snape & Malfoy Potions and Pharmaceuticals was more than just a place of business; it was a sanctuary, a haven from the storm.
