The Last of wizards.

Ten hours later after leaving their old life behind. the plane landed in Austin Texas international and the three of them wanted three things. A decent meal, a shower and a bed.

Harry rented a small motel room at Motel 6 for them and he ordered some pizza for the three of them.

"How long have I gone without eating this" said Astoria eating a slice of pepperoni.

"It's good." Said Harry.

"Very" said the girls. When it came time for a shower. Harry waited for the girls to shower and when they were done. He took his shower next which wasn't a very long for him to get cleaned up, he had chosen a white tank top and a checkerboard style pajama pants for his sleeping attire. He was later joined with Daphne wearing a red tank top and blue boy shorts that fit snugly on her waist . Astoria would bunk in the other bed. ,

The following morning Harry woke up with Daphne's head resting on his chest. The girl soundly asleep on his chest, despite just wanting to watch her sleep. He looked over at the time and it said 9:30 in the morning. He had to use the bathroom. Careful to not wake her. He managed to untangle himself and go into the restroom. After using the toilet did the boy look at himself in the mirror. The scar that he hated for so long was finally healing up. The scar on his right arm was also healing nicely even though it still hurts a bit, he then took off his shirt.

His muscles were forming very nicely from quidditch and his training for the Triwizard Tournament. At least he had gotten away from having to deal with Snape a lot since the tournament let him trained all he wanted and after Ron and Hermoine turned their backs to him not to mention all of Gryffindor minus Neville, Ginny and The Weasley Twins, Most of the school went to great lengths to try to talk behind his back minus a few students mainly Susan Bones, Hannah Albott, Luna Lovegood and a few others. Seeing he was no longer safe in Gryffindor tower, he had taken all of his stuff and moved to the Chamber of Secrets.

He then explored the ancient chamber and found a hidden room behind the statue of Salazar which was his personal living quarters. Before he left Britain. He ordered Dobby and Winky to fully clean out the chamber and store them inside a seven compartment chest. He kept Salazar's journal with him at all times..

Harry brushed his teeth and exited the restroom. He sees Daphne was still asleep but Astoria was awake and flipping the channels on the tv. "Oh good, my turn," Astoria said. She goes right by him and into the restroom. Harry hears water running which means that she is getting a shower, He goes right over to his sleeping girlfriend and kisses her on the forehead which wakes her up, "morning" she said with a sleepy smile.

"Time to get up, love…we have to check out soon." Said Harry.

Despite not wanting to get up, she got up and grabbed herself a change of clothes from her bag. She yelled "I swear Stori, you better not hog all of the hot water!"

"I'm not! You always hog it at home Daffy Duck!" Astoria yelled back

"Whatever Bugs Bunny! Daphne yelled back to her sister entering the restroom. Dam Tracy for getting her and Astoria hooked on Looney Tunes. Harry had the room to himself to get ready, he chose to wear a black shirt with the band Journey on the front. Blue jeans with a black belt which had a silver buckle on it and his tennis shoes. The Elder Wand was in his wand Hoister.

The bathroom door opened and the greengrass sisters came out wearing some new clothes themselves.

Daphne had chosen a green blouse, blue jeans and her sneakers. A sapphire teardrop necklace nestled in her cleavage. The necklace was a gift from Christmas when he asked her to be his girlfriend which she accepted. Her wand is in her pocket. She had a braid of hair tied up in her front.

Astoria had a white shirt with the Harpies on it and a blue skirt. She wore flip flops to complete the loo. Her black hair was tied up in a ponytail. The three of them checked out of the hotel after eating their breakfast and were now in a cab. "Can you take us to this address?" Harry asked, showing the address where his uncle and Cousin live.

"Sure no problem but it will be extra since it's outside my route" said the driver. Once buckled in, the three former citizens of Britain enjoyed the sightseeing of downtown Austin which thankfully the traffic was are on the outskirts of the city to a small cul de sac. The taxi pulled up to a two story yellow house with a garage. A grey ford pickup truck sat in the driveway which meant that they were home. The three got out of the taxi and Harry went to pay the man. He even gave him an extra 100 dollars as a tip.

"Thanks," said the driver before driving away. Harry looked at the house and despite it being yellow. It was a nice house and at the same time he was nervous of meeting them. Daphne's hand took hold of his and the three approached the door. Harry rang the doorbell. Footsteps were heard and a young girl with short blonde hair answered the door.. she kept the door cracked since it was still early in the morning. She has hazel colored eyes and is wearing pajamas. "Hello?, can I help you?" Said the girl,

"Sarah? Sarah Miller?" Asked Harry.

"Yes, that's me? Who are you?" Asked Sarah.

"My name is Harry Potter, this is my Girlfriend Daphne Greengrass and her younger sister Astoria Greengrass." Harry introduces himself and the girls to Sarah.

"Sarah? Who's at the door?" Said a male voice from the house.

"A boy named Harry Potter Daddy" said Sarah answering her father. Footsteps are heard as the door is closed. Unlocking is heard and the door is opened by another individual. A man who looked about 31 with short black hair, a bit of a beard growing and he is wearing a patterned long sleeve jacket and jeans. His hazel eyes looked at him before he said. "Well I'll be…it is you"

He then moved to the side. "Come on in."

Harry and the two girls entered the house and it was very homely with photos of Sarah, Joel and another man. Sleeping on a rug is a German Shepard who looked up to see the newcomers.

"You're definitely a miniature James but you have your moms eyes." Said Joel before he hugged the boy. Harry flinched but he returned the hug. "Good to finally see you again kiddo"

"I don't really remember much about meeting you Uncle Joel" said Harry

"Well you were just born when your mom and dad brought you to visit Chelsea and i." Said Joel.

"So he's really my cousin Dad?" Asked Sarah.

"Yes baby girl he is…he's your cousin from your moms side of the family. How are James and Lily doing? How come they never contacted us again. The last I heard from them was that they were going into Hiding because that Terrorist Voldemort was after you. How are they doing?" Asked Joel.

Harry was silent for Joel didn't even know that they were dead. He had to tell him the truth.. "You don't know"

"Know what?" Said Joel.

"They were murdered on Halloween of 1998. Voldemort killed them. Peter Petegrew betrayed them and lead him right to us. I survived" Said Harry,

Joel could only look wide eyed on hearing that before he said. "No. It cant be true"

"It's true sir…I had to watch that madman slay my mom right in front of my infant eyes before he turned his attention to me." Said Harry. Daphne pulled out a small newspaper that looked dated back to 1998 and it was a muggle newspaper showing Godric hollow and the attack, she handed the paper to him and he read it. "Oh god." Joel with sadness. It was like losing Chelsea again after the fatal car crash when she went to grab something for their anniversary. He sat down on the couch after dropping the paper. Sarah saw the tears falling down his face and she sat down on the leg of the couch and he wrapped his arms around her.

"I'm sorry you had to learn of this now" said Harry.

"It's okay….but where did they put you? Did they put you with Sirius? I know we were named in the will as guardians in case he couldn't." Said Joel.

"Unfortunately, a man named Albus Dumbledore placed me with my moms sister and her husband. despite their Will saying I was not to go there."

"What! Not them…I met them once and I hated them the moment we met." Said Joel. He would ask Harry later if they had abused him. He noticed how Harry had flinched when he had hugged him.

"Sirius was blamed for my parents murder and sentenced to Azkaban until he broke out to protect me from Pettigrew ." Said Harry.

"Azkaban? That's a Weird name for a prison." Said Sarah.

Joel was silent because he knew that this day would come. He said. "Sarah..there's something you should know about your cousin."

"Like what? It's not like he's a wizard or something." Sarah said with a bit of sarcasm. The four were dead silent after she said that. "Sarah ... .have you always wondered why when you got mad or scared. Some strange things happened" said Joel.

Sarah recalled one time that she was walking home from the Alders from borrowing a movie that her dad likes.. Two thugs attempted to beat her up and steal her bag. She recalled the two men were suspended in the air and thrown into a house. "Yeah." She said,

"Sarah…forgive me for not telling you this until now but you're a Witch." Said Joel.

"A what?" Asked sarah.

"A witch ... .Magic is real Sarah ... .its not some fairytale from books ... .magic exist as does creatures we thought were myths. Magic runs through your blood. Said Joel.

"Daddy? Are you playing a joke on me?" Asked Sarah. Harry then pulled out The Elder Wand and he pointed it at the coffee table. Silent casting was another thing he had trained to do in the chamber. The table floated up off the ground and Sarah watched wide eyed seeing the table float. Being cautious she waved her hand above the table. Her eyes couldn't be pulling tricks. She even checked under the table for anything under it but found nothing.

"I was the same way when I was told about being a wizard." Said Harry with a chuckle.

Sarah looked at him and then at her father who could only nod. "Your mom was born from a magical family called the Potters but she was they called a Squib. ."

"Squib?" Said Sarah,

"It means that she was born with a low magic core. She could never use Magic. Squibs are heavily looked down on in the magical world." Said Daphne.

"Despite being a Squib. Your grandparents loved her as any parent would before they sent her to live in the states." Said Joel.

"Why didn't she stay with her family then?" Asked Sarah,

"Magical Britain's government is full of Pureblood Wizards who look down on the Half Bloods, Muggleborns and Squibs. They are treated as third class citizens and given the lowest paying job. MUSA doesn't tolerate it." Said Astoria.

"Your mom left a will but since I'm what they call a muggle I have no magic in my blood. It can only be read on the day you receive your school letter." Said Joel.

"School letter? But I already go to school Dad?" Said Sarah,

"You have to go to a school that will teach you how to control your magic…right now the best school in the Untied States is Salems institute of Magic. Your letter won't come till later this summer. When is it?" Asked Daphne.

"October 18." Said Sarah,

"Okay…so until then we have to wait till your letter comes to hear it," said Daphne. Sarah nodded before she had to ask. "So is it true that Unicorns exist?"

"Yeah, I've seen a few" said Harry.

"Really! That's so cool! What about dragons!" Asked Sarah.

"Yep. There real too." Harry said with a shudder remembering he had to face that mother Hungarian Horntail during the tournament.

"Cool. You think I can meet them some day?" Said Sarah.

"We'll see about the dragons,. There in reservations across the world." Said Daphne.

"Really? How come?" Asked Sarah, Daphne then went on to explain to Sarah about the Statue of secrecy because of muggles fearing them and the burnings which had the magical folk hide from them. That even meant keeping magical creatures in reserves to protect the statue of secrecy.

"Sarah. You can't tell your friends about your heritage. You can get into big trouble with the MUSA of the ICW.." Said Harry.

"Okay harry." Said sarah

A tapping his heard and they look to see a Hedwig had arrived with a Raven. This raven is named Dust for Harry had bonded with the bird after finding him injured one day in the forbidden forest. "There you two are? Enjoyed your flight?" Asked Harry to Dust who landed on his shoulder.

The two birds nodded before Hedwig landed on Sarah's shoulder, "no way! You have a snowy owl as a pet? I thought they were illegal to have?"

"Hedwig is my familiar, she was actually my first friend." Said Harry. Daphne took hold of his hand and gently squeezed it.

"First Friend?" Asked Joel. That confirmed it for him. Harry had to have been abused by Petunia and that whale of a husband. Hedwig nuzzled agianst her cheek making her giggle. "You're such a beautiful girl Hedwig" cooed Sarah.

"Sarah honey, why don't you give Astoria a tour of the house." Said Joel.

"Sure Daddy? Come on Astoria, let me show you my room." Said Sarah.

"Call me Tori,it's what everyone else calls me," said Astoria. The two girls then go upstairs leaving Joel with Harry and Daphne, Hedwig and Dust took that chance to sleep on the counter since they had flown with no rest.

"Harry, Did they hurt you?" Asked Joel.

Harry could only nod before he took off his shirt and Joel felt sick to see so many scars on his body. The recent one being the cut on his forearm, there was a scar on his other arm that was an outline of a fang.

"I was dumped on their doorsteps by Albus Dumbledore after my parents were murdered by Voldemort and for ten years I called a cupboard under the stairs my bedroom. I didn't even know my real name was Harry until I was five. They called me a freak. I was basically treated as a slave, I had to do all of the cooking and cleaning. And if I did a bad job. I was beaten half to death.. They basically tortured me. I was fed scraps while they ate like pigs. On my birthday and Christmas I would get nothing while Dudley would get 40 presents and I was given hand me downs that were too big."

"Then there was hogwarts. Safest place in the world my ass. My four years at that school. The bullying and house separation is extremely violent especially between Gryffindor and Slytheirn. My first year there. Dumbledore placed Nicolas flamel Sorcerer's stone and left traps for three first years to solve. In my second year, a sixty foot basilisk was let loose into the castle and I am blamed for the attacks since I can speak Parseltongue.

"Basilisk?" Asked Joel.

"The King of all Snakes. . Its stare can cause instant death if you look it in the eyes and its venom is deadly. One bite and its venom can kill you in a minute." Said Daphne. She had seen the Dead Basilisk in the Chamber when she and Harry trained together for the tournament.

"God. Did they capture the culprit?" Asked Joel.

"Yeah, a first year student GinnyWeasley was possessed by an artifact of Voldemorts and I destroyed it after I killed the Basilisk. I stabbed it in the roof of its mouth with a sword but a fang of the snake got lodged in my arm. Fawkes, a Phoenix who helped me in the battle healed my wound." Said Harry. "The only decent year was my third year when Sirius escaped Azkaban to protect me from Petegrew who was disguising himself as my former friends rat."

"Fourth year. This last year at school was the worst…they decided to host the triwizard Tournament. A deadly tournament that ended with someone dying. But this was supposed to be a safer version. Long story short. My name was entered despite me not being near the dam thing and the entire school minus a few made my life a living hell."

"That's when you and I started to see each other. I was one that believed him, " said Daphne. "He was the best defense against the dark arts student. He tutored me on that I tutored him on potions because Snape hates him because James Potter picked on him."

"It wasn't just the school but the entire magical United Kingdom. They slandered my name in the paper, they did everything they could to make me feel unwelcome. My supposed best friends Ron and Hermoine turned their backs on me. I had to face a bloody dragon. A nesting mother to get a golden egg. Thankfully she was willing to cooperate when I showed her no harm. The second task had me going into a freezing cold lake to rescue Daphne, who was my hostage against Mermaids and grindylows. The last task had us go through a maze filled with all sorts of creatures. I was with another student Cedric when we reached the cup and it took us to a graveyard instead of back to the maze. Pettegrew was there and he killed Cedric."

A flash of Cedric Diggory getting murdered right in front of his eyes still haunts him.

"It got worse. Pettegrew then used some sort of Ritual to revive Voldemort to a body."

"Wait, that doesn't make any sense, how could he come back if he was dead already?" Asked Joel.

"According to the Goblins. He created a failsafe to cheat death…a horcrux. Egyptian pharaohs used it to cheat death." Said Harry. He then looked at Daphne who recalled seeing Harry returning to the school with Cedric after he barely got away from Voldemort. Harry then broke down after that before Joel was quick to wrap his arms around him, he had to face so much that most adults don't go though. If Joel ever saw this Dumbledore. He would give him a taste of his fist,

"You shouldn't have to go though that ... .none of that" said Joel with a soft yet gentle tone as a father would.

"It just gets worse. Our esteemed minister didn't believe him and said it was all a plot by Dumbledore so he could become minister…he's also being bribed heavily by Malfoy who is a member of Voldemort's inner circle."said Daphne, Harry pulled away before he said, 

"We no longer felt safe in Britain and after learning that Dumbledore had ignored my parents' will, kept me ignorant of my inheritance. Being treated as a villain by the entire magical United Kingdom last year. I had enough so I chose to leave. Daphne and Astoria came with me"

"How come?" Asked Joel.

"My father was gonna sign me into a marriage contract with Theodore Nott who happens to be in a relationship with Lily Moon, a slytherin from our year. Theo is one of my good friends and they are hiding with Blaise and Tracy’s family in Italy. I doubt they will return to England. Theo hates his father and Astoria was going to be signed to be a second wife to Draco Malfoy. A pompous ass. We chose to flee with Harry." Said Daphne.

"Say no more… The three of you are more than welcome to stay with me and Sarah." Said Joel

"Thanks Uncle Joel." Said Harry.

"By the way Harry? You think Mr Brown did our interview well?" Asked Daphne looking at him,

"Yeah. Thankfully we had enough time to do that interview before our flight." Said Harry.
