I find it amusing how many stories have gained the idea of the potter foible curse. It gets even more amusing when you realize that it makes 3 curses tied to the Potter lineage that could easily be made to be tied to the three deathly hallows. With a fourth curse, with their attitude towards death (seriously rewatch the scene of death meeting dean in supernatural, and then put a potter there and imagine)
The wand of death: created to make the oldest powerful - related curse: Potter luck. Potters are either drawn towards major events or the major events come to them. basically protagonist luck
the stone of resurrection: created to revive the middle's dead lover - related curse: Potter Foible. Potters will always find love early and love fully. leaves a very obvious target to hurt them. but heaven help you and the country you are in if you succeed
the cloak of invisibility: created to hide the youngest from death - related curse: Potter hair. all potters, male and female, and easily identifiable due to how unbelievably messy their hair is. hell you can even say the line about his aunt cutting his hair and it growing back over night is not due to him being a Metamorphmagus but his family hair curse.
Pissed off death curse: three humans had the sheer audacity to tell Death to give them shit - Potter attitude: unceremonious, maverick, and gryffindor fearlessness.
