When remus was 5, he was attacked and bitten by Fenrir Greyback as revenge on Lyall Lupin (Remus’ father) for trying to get him killed. Lyall ends up killing himself out of guilt, and leaves Hope alone. And so, after a few years of dealing with a young werewolf, Hope’s heart gives out and leaves 7 year old Remus John Lupin to be sent off to some distant relatives (Hope’s cousins grandparents) who are extremely rich, and neglectful.Thankfully, Hope had been taking notes over the years of how to deal with a young werewolf, and left the notes for Remus’ new guardians. They don’t know exactly what he is, but they follow the instructions.Through the years, Remus has been sent to many rich private schools, and has been taught how to be a proper young man. Although, he despises his new guardians because they neglect him, so at every opportunity, he acts out.When Remus turns 12 and a letter in the post comes, stating he is welcome at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry, his guardians don’t hesitate to ship him off.This fanfic will follow Remus and the Marauders through their 7 years at Hogwarts (it’s also a Wolfstar).
