Chapter 1

Before the beginning Azathoth Slept and the Outer Gods Sang, and The Great Dream brought shape to reality. reality from their song came the first child The Tether of Reality the last line of defense against the Awakening that would erase Reality. The First was followed by three more Nyarlathotep, Darkness, and the Nameless Mist. From The First Child ToR stretched many lines each tying reality to its tether and cemented existence. From these lines came ToR’s line the first of her line was Life as stars breathed then came Death as stars destroyed Time working in parallel with both. From the marriage of Life and Death lead to sentients and there joining gave birth to the first True Twin Limbo who was two aspects in one body. Later as they aged Limbo found they could split into Two but could continue to exist as one. Limbo who watches over those on the knifes edge of their parents to ferry those who chose or fade. They are the keepers of those in comas or suffering wasting diseases. They were the first to take a foundling in the form of an abandoned Mi-Go and many after. This is the strange story of one of their foundlings as none touched by the Cosmos may be anything but strange to those who have not.

It starts with a cry

The babe under the stares looks up at the harlequin being above him not for the first time in his extremely short life. He was almost three and he had met the nice lady, ladies (?) so many times for so many reasons but this felt different. A harmony of flutes and drums rumbles far off in the cupboard as the person (?) reaches out to pick up his miniscule form and a cold warmth floods him as he drifts to sleep. At the same moment somewhere in Scotland in a great castle a device smokes and ceases to function, its owner not noticing as he, badly, plays chess with lives not knowing his king is gone.

~8 Years Later ~

“An owl is coming.” The child on the roof says watching as Great-Great-Bibi Darkness releases his rule on the cosmos.

“Of course, did you think it wouldn’t?” The slighter more pallid adult on the roof asked. Receiving no more than a shrug as the owl landed on the second adult on the other side of the child.

“Hogwarts, Dumbledore, cat, toad, rat.” The boy reads as he skims the contents of the letter, “I will be bringing Asha snakes are allowed as per the founders and I will not go without my familiar due to Dumbledore’s fear and stupidity.” He continues with a decisive nod.

“Obviously, Harry, love we wouldn't have it any other way.” Smiles the brighter twin to the west (always the west you could navigate by his Patron Guardians) the sun haloing her body.

“So, to Diagon then? We can finally get your rings.” came from the east as the dimmer of his guardians rose from her meditation.

“Yes, do you think I’ll get all of them or do I still need to play the Scavenger Hunt?” Harry asked standing with the others as they started making their way to breakfast curiosity and knowledge shining in the unobstructed Death green eyes.

“Eh, that's a question you’d have to ask Father, unless you know Deathspect?” West wondered.

“The hunt, Our Little Thestral Foal, after all where would the fun be in just having it given to you?” Deaths Aspect responded from the east. “Lifespect, do we have any idea on what names we are going to use as the combinations are getting ridiculous.” She said copying her sister's train of name thought with an epic eyeroll.

“What do you think, Unicorn Foal, what should we be called?” Life aspect asked brushing banges from a near faded scar on his forehead before they all sat at the table to eat.

“D should be Sidhe as they are tied to Grandfather Death and L should be Fae as they are often most associated with life/nature. Connecting the cycle of the Cosmos in a closer way.” Harry shrugged, taking a bite of his steak and eggs.

“Very well, off to the bank.” the newly dubbed Sidhe said as she wiped her mouth with her napkin and stood seeing the other two were done with their meals.

~Gringotts, London~

“Fair meet, we are here to get an inheritance test for a foundling.” Fae said as the three bowed to the Goblin teller.

“The name of the Foundling?” asked the Goblin wide eyed at the prospect of such a thing. Goblins had been banned from such practices by the wizards during early treaties as much as they hated it. Their was only one being in known existence that could still do such things.

“Harry Potter, Dumblefumble left him to horrid creatures that even the lowest of the abominations would pale in comparison to.” Sidhe said with a dark presentiment flowing from her as she quietly explained.

“Very well,” the Goblin said with a gulp at the feeling he had to flee as he waved for an escort for the three, “Griphook will guide you.” he said with a nervous bow as they left to follow his fellow, things were going to get interesting at least, he thought as he decided to take a break and calm himself.

“Thank you, Master Griphook.” Sidhe said with a bow as their group entered a large elaborate office with a surely looking Goblin behind a large desk made from what looked like polished volcanic rock.

“Fair meet,” Fae said with a bow to the Goblin she vaguely recognized for some reason, “Might we make ourselves known to you. This is my sister Sidhe and our foundling Harry Potter; I am known currently as Fae.”

“Fair meet, I am Lodnok, manager of the Potter accounts.” The Goblin responded, making the memory light in Limbo’s brain. This was the child of Ranrok the power-hungry idiot from a century ago. Good to see he followed more closely his uncle than his progenitor.

“Then it is even more pleasurable to meet you as we need an inheritance test and accounting for our foundling.” Sidhe said with a natural Glasgow Smile at the traitor's son causing an uncomfortable need to flee or hide in the Goblin.

“Of course, three drops of blood on this paper please, Master Potter.” Lodnok said nervously looking back and forth between the two women he had an uncomfortable feeling of familiarity towards. ( He knew what his father did, he knew what came of it, he remembered the witch that stopped it, he knew who had raised that child, but he did not know that these where those same women. After all they were going by very different names back then Flora and Fona were intimidating guardians to that girl and did not leave his line untouched. ) The parchment finished its job.

“Impressive, Thestral, now for the heir rings as you can’t take the Lordships until Aunty recognizes you as an adult. So, theoretically on your 17th birthday, not that there aren't other ways for it to happen and for those from your siblings we can regent those until you can take over.” Sidhe said reading over the parchment before handing it over to Fae, “Master Lodnok if you will?”

“Yes, of course, the rings, Heir Peverall-Slytherin-Gryffindor-Ravenclaw-Hufflepuff-Emrys-LeFay-Potter-Black.” Lodnok said in as close to awe as a Goblin could/would get as he handed the rings to the boy to claim.

“Just Heir Slytherin is fine, thank you.” Harry said as he started putting on the rings giving each a chance to decide and merge, “I won't be able to claim the Peverell until I locate the ring anyway, so I’ll use the highest claimed House for now.” He continued as he placed the Final Heirship ring, Black, and it merged with the Potter ring leaving him with three fingers holding rings on his right hand. (The Hogwarts rings combined on his ring finger the Emrys and LeFay rings on his middle and the Potter and Black rings on his pinky.)

“As you say, Heir Slytherin, for your guardians to hold Regency over the chosen Seats you need to sign this.” Lodnok said as he handed a contract to the three to look over and sign, “Then these are your account books for all your houses and the family Grimoires.” He said as he exchanged the signed contract for a stack of velums paired with the Grimoires for each House.

“Why is Dumbledore taking money from the Potter accounts?” Sidhe suddenly asked as she looked at the most recently active accounts, “The family accounts no less?” She continued in a voice that could lead you to slit your own throat to escape as the Glasgow smile returned to her face.

“I was unaware the child was a foundling and Dumbledore claimed Guardianship and said those transactions were for the child's care.” Lodgok rushed to explain, he did not want to end like his father, “I will assure all transactions are reversed with interest of course.” he continued quickly at the unimpressed looks he was getting.

“Yes, and make sure any active keys are dissolved, and we will take a blood lock card before leaving today.” Sidhe said supremely unimpressed, there were no excuses in death, and she found them quite distasteful among the living as well.

“Yes, yes, no problem at all a moment if you will and I will have that prepared. Were you wanting to go to the vaults today or simply collect the card?” Lodnok rushed to assure.

“What say you, Foal?” Sidhe asked Harry as Fae was still deep in the older account books and checking the Grimoires.

“Are there any wands I could try in any of the vaults? I know none will work for me as well as my true wand, but that is a bit out of reach at the moment.” Harry asked poking Fae to get her attention.

“Hmm, wands? Yes, Ignotus and Cadmus left theirs in the vault after their deaths. I’m not sure how either will like you but if nothing else we can visit your cousin out in the alley.” She responded after dragging her attention back to the present.

“Then the vaults please.” Harry said as he stood and dusted his pants off.

“Very well, Griphook will take you down and the card can be collected from the reception on your way out.” Lodnok said with a sigh of relief as they left his office.

~Peverell Vault~

“Here they are, try Cadmus’ first.” Sidhe said as she held the wand handle towards him, “Go on try it.” she encouraged only for a small explosion to go off behind them.

“No, here Ignotus’,” Fae said, copying her sister's actions of a moment ago.

“No, I can already tell that one is not going to be a match.” Harry said not even reaching for his second uncle's wand.

“Then to your cousins once we’ve grabbed your card and locked it to you.” Sidhe said happy to be getting out of the bank, as much as they loved Goblins the vaults and most of the main parts of the bank were not so enticing to be in.

~Diagon Alley, Infront of Gringotts~

“Now, Garrik is at the opposite end of the Alley, so I vote we get things as we go, and the wand can be out last stop.” Fae said cheerfully as Sidhe finished helping Harry lock his card.

“That’s fine, Fae.” Harry said as he pocketed the card and started towards the Apothecary for his potions supplies, “I have and older brother who’s a PM, right?” he asked as he browsed the ingredients for what he needs.

“Yes, Severus Snape, he teaches at Hogwarts as well, so at least we know you’ll have at least one competent teacher that we can trust.” Sidhe said trying not to touch anything, after all the ingredients are close enough to her aspect and her father's domain, she had a tendency to ruin them completely unintentionally, as she helped him find what he needed in so far as his brewing utensils. “I think we have everything non-organic now.” she continues as she puts a set of knives in the cauldron.

“Don't worry, I have the rest all set.” Fae said walking up with all the necessary ingredients. They placed everything on the counter and after it had rung up showed Harry how to use his card.

“Now, not that I don't love toting around a bunch of heavy potion equipment but my vote is to hit the trunk shop across the street there.” Sidhe said, still trying not to touch the organic materials.

“Yes, Sidhe, we can go so you can walk more comfortably.” Harry responded knowing that if they don't, she will walk around as if she were an anxious gargoyle to avoid causing any damage to his ingredients.

“Thank you, Foal, Sidhe says as they walk into the trunk shop and she put the bags down so they could find a good trunk which they did quickly finding one with a compartment for a lab, ingredient storage, a library, auto shrinking/unshrinking charms, and a feather light. After purchasing the trunk and getting the necessary security measures added, such as blood based locks and anti-thief charms, they stored the potions things in their respective compartments before moving on to the next stop. A half hour later after some ice cream from Fortescue's they were strolling up to a bedraggled old store front which read Ollivander’s Wands.

“Garrick, come out from your hidey hole and meet your cousin.” Fae said with crossed arms staring straight at him.

“Of course, Aunty, and what are the names of Limbo this time.” Ollivander responded as he slunk out of the shadows, looking the picture of petulant, one could never get away with anything when Aunt Limbo was involved.

“Fae and Sidhe, now stop pouting, our newest foundling needs a wand.” Sidhe said entirely unamused at the attitude.

“Yes, Aunty, my apologies.” Ollivander responded straightening up and looking to the newest family member to be saved from oblivion, “Mister Potter, I’ve been expecting you though I’m sure no one else will.” He continues looking to the boy in between the aspects. (No, no one is going to be expecting him, not as he is now, not touched by the Cosmos. But there are worse things after all that’s what lead to the Ollivander's being an eternal line of Foundling Family almost four centuries ago when Limbo claimed Gandlo Ollivander as a Foundling.), “I fear that none of my wands will be able to bond with a Foundling, Mister Potter, not even the one that may have before the claim.” A huge smile was forming as his young cousin was looking mildly upset, “So, we shall simply have to do a custom.” Harry’s head shot up.

“Yes please, Cousin.” Harry responded Excitedly.

“Follow me then the work room is in the back.” Garrik said with a grin as Harry rushed ahead of them all. 45 minutes later, saw Harry happily hugging his cousin as he left with his guardians in his hand was a wand made of Vine dipped in Cosmic Ichor with a core of Unicorn and Thestral hair at 13 inches.

“Ready to head home?” Limbo asked, having conjoined as one during the making of the wand.

“Yes, I’d like to start on my course books.” Harry said followed by the sound of a foul breeze leaving the area they had been standing empty.
