Taking a sip of his second iced coffee of the day Soobin continued studying as if the words were going to magically make sense. He has been studying for his Biology test later in the evening for not even hours–days and yet he still is left uncertain about how well he will do. As he expected SNU was exactly how he imagined it to be, exhausting. The last three years he has spent here has been draining but he wouldn't trade it for the world. From the student life, campus, and most importantly his major has treated him so well.

Soobin was worried that since he was the only one of the friend group to get into SNU–scratch that actually applied that their friend group was going to break. Their bond is stronger than anything because Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai all go to Yonsei University together yet the boys still see each other.To say he was a bit jealous was an understatement, he would love to attend school with his best friends again.

Senior year in High school went by quickly just like Yeonjun had told Soobin, he had gotten Valedictorian just what he aimed for and when he found out he got into SNU was a bit of a blur. Not because he blacked out from adrenaline but because he blacked out from drinking with the boys. Beomgyu had convinced Soobin that since he got in they needed to celebrate but not any celebration they needed to go nuts, and nuts they went...Soobin had gotten so drunk he woke up in Beomgyu's bathtub head banging.

"Boo!" He jumped from the sudden hand on his shoulders, grabbing his heart. He turned around half expecting the culprit to be none other than Beomgyu. Smiling at his best friend he pulled him in for a quick hug before he took a seat next to Soobin.

"You're so annoying, scaring me like that. Don't you have class right now?" Beomgyu laughed, basking in his win on this ongoing game they have over who can scare who. Beomgyu has been in the lead for years now Soobin was too tall to go unknown. He now stood at 6'1 officially being the tallest in the group, nobody was surprised by this though.

"My professor cancelled thankfully so i'm done with classes for the day. I checked your life360 and seen you were here, I miss my best friend dearly"

Soobin chuckled at his dramaticness but the feelings were mutual. Lately the only time he has seen Beomgyu was when one of them was leaving their apartment. Since their campuses are nearby they knew right away they were going to get an apartment instead of dorming with a complete stranger their first year of college and from there they just continued to live together.

"I miss you too, good news is after I do this test I won't be busy for at least a week! Meaning if you were down we could go out and have some fun"

Beomgyu's eyes looked like Soobin had just told him the lottery numbers they were oozing with thankfulness. Beomgyu put his hands over his mouth, eyes widened and he just stared at Soobin for at least 30 seconds.

"Did my dear best friend just offer to go out? Where is my Soobin this can't be him this has to be a clone! Or even worse...AI I heard that's going to be deadly in a couple years"

Soobin rolled his eyes, taking yet another sip of his coffee that was now done.

"Oh shut up. I truly need a night out with the boys, I can't keep living this life beommie i'm slowly losing it" Beomgyu once again did the exact same thing–eyes popping out his socks and he dramatically gasped whilst placing his hands over his mouth in shock.

"Hyung I could cry this is exactly the influence I have been breadcrumbing you over the years to feel like." He started to fake cry while rubbing away the tears still in shock from Soobin genuinely wanting to go out.

"Oh ha ha, very funny. So do you or no? I don't have all day" Soobin already knew the answer but it was fun to tease the younger one.

"Of fucking course. I'm texting the group chat right NOW" Without wasting a breath he did just that leading to the text message popping up on his laptop.

"Now what did you say fuck me for?" Beomgyu placed his phone on the table holding in a laugh from the message Soobin had just said.

"I was just kidding, you know I love you" Soobin started to pack up, he decided he was going to let his brain do what it did best– be good at retaining information and not stress about this test any further.

"As badly as I would love to sit and talk more, I have to get going Gyu" Beomgyu pouted at his comment. Standing up he gave Soobin a tight hug of encouragement.

"Hwaiting! You got this, don't worry. Plus you are going to have fun tonight either way"

"Exactly" Soobin smiled at Beomgyu before waving a quick goodbye as he threw away his empty cup.

Fortunately for Soobin the test was surprisingly not as hard as he imagined it to be. He was confident that he did really well which makes tonight even more satisfactory. Walking out of his class he grabbed his phone quickly scanning to see if he had gotten any important texts while he was not allowed on his phone. Suddenly someone had bumped into him causing his phone to fall, the cause of his phone being on the phone quickly picking it up and handing it to Soobin. A face Soobin hasn't seen in about a year was now face to face with him, Choi Yeonjun.

He looked drastically different, his face looked hollowed in with bright blue long-ish hair. Soobin couldn't wrap his head around the boy in front of him—Yeonjun still went to SNU? Soobin has not seen him for a whole year. Usually he would see the boy here and there, never engaging in any conversations which were mutual, they even had an elective together but he had vanished.

"Yeonjun?" Soobin spoke without thinking clearly, he was truly confused on who this person was.

"That's me" Yeonjun's eyes looked drained from any life.

Usually Yeonjun looked exhausted but he looked down right dead. Depleted from all his former charm left with only hollowness. He was right in front of him but something about the elder in front of him did not seem normal. Before Soobin could even talk, Yeonjun walked away leaving Soobin even more confused. For a lack of better words Yeonjun looked like absolute shit. Focusing on the task at hand Soobin made his way back home. Mind still filled with Yeonjun and his disheveled state.

On the elevator he searched up his instagram to find any clues but found nothing. He hadn't posted a single thing in a year which was unlike him since he posted once a month. Walking up to his apartment door he unlocked it and was met with a Hueningkai rushing at him hugging him tightly.

"HYUNG!" His tone was high and he kept rocking Soobin back and forth, almost knocking him down. Kai was acting like he hasn't seen Soobin in months–max it's been 3 days.

"My agi!" Soobin couldn't resist Kai's naturally cute charms. He was adorable and that's why he was a very dangerous man who could get anything he wanted simply off being a cutie pie.

Letting go of Soobin, they walked into the living room where Taehyun and Beomgyu were watching tiktoks together. Beomgyu was borderline on top of Taehyun on the couch as they scrolled together. Soobin smirked at the sight he was seeing, his friends were absolutely head over heels for one another yet neither had said anything. It's painful for Soobin to see and honestly he doesn't know how much longer they can keep this going before Soobin himself explodes.

"Get up love birds" Soobin loved teasing them because their reaction was always the same. They would blush intensely and start making fun of Soobin.

"Oh fuck off. When are you going to get some huh?" Beomgyu got up of Taehyun sitting up straight

"Hyung you're literally a 21 year old virgin it's getting scary at this point" Taehyun followed up which caused Beomgyu to high five each other.

"What the fuck I literally just turned 21 like 3 weeks ago, and enough"

Soobin rolled his eyes before throwing his backpack at the two. They weren't lying and Soobin is not ashamed to be a virgin; he honestly could care less about having sex. His main focus is only on school and has been that for years, sure people have tried to date him or wanted to have sex but he has turned down everyone. It would obviously be nice to have a boyfriend but Soobin can barely take care of himself let alone another person.

The boys spent the rest of the remaining time watching a movie, playing video games, having a moment of silence while brain rotting until it was finally 10pm. Soobin took a quick shower due to the fact that everyone else equally wanted to take a shower... typical. His outfit was very basic since they were going to a club, a gay club to be specific. He wore a black wife beater, black jeans, vans, and a black and white letterman jacket. He made sure his accessories were showing to let everyone know he was here and queer. Putting on some cologne and finishing up doing his hair Soobin walked in the living room. Even though he was the first to get ready he was the last to be done.

"How the fuck did we finish before you?" Beomgyu asked, his outfit was very on brand. He wore a tight see through black shirt, loose ripped jeans that had cuts where his hip bone would be at, and lastly his shoes were black platforms.

"Wow you actually look good" Soobin said while walking to their fridge bringing out the alcohol.

"Don't say 'actually' when it applies to me dressing good, you know my fashion sense is amazing" He flipped his long hair he had been growing for a couple months now hence why Soobin would jokingly call him a femboy.

"It's okay...you only go all out when we are going somewhere" Hueningkai said and his outfit was also pretty good, very straight though. He wore a loose black tee with some sort of design, black loose jeans without a single hole, and air force ones. No one would question if he was gay or not because he looked painfully straight.

"I have to agree with our maknae" Taehyun got up off the couch and his outfit was something Soobin never saw him wear. He was wearing a beige dress up shirt that was a bit loose with the buttons only being button up from the bottom three leaving his chest out to the world to see, he wore a flashy belt paired with flare jeans that were ripped in the knees, and these pointy looking shoes that Soobin couldn't quite figure out due to the flares of the pants.

"Okay what the fuck you guys look good as fuck. I'm changing" Soobin rushed back into the room feeling a sense of pride. He could not get out mogged by a straight man. He decided to take off the wife beater and jacket looking round for a better option. He took out this sage green shirt with a brown star in the middle that was tight and slightly cropped and paired it with a leather jacket only wearing it halfway to show off his figure. Luckily Soobin wore his "flashy" underwear as he likes to say which displayed "calvin klein" on it which he purposefully pulled more up.

Quickly walking back out he did a model walk anticipating a better reaction from his outfit.

"NOW you look gay. You were giving me straight man that even Hueningkai was starting to look gay" Hueningkai turned his head due to the sudden mention of his name and laughed at Beomgyu's comment.

"Yes, I love it you look properly homosexual" Taehyun chuckled and took a shot

"Why are y'all doing shots without me? Yall hate me so bad" Soobin dramatically said, grabbing a shot glass and pouring him a shot of smirnoff.

"We don't have all the time in the world for your outfit crisis" Beomgyu playfully said resulting in a pouty Soobin.

"Okay I apologize. Countdown on me shots down in three!" Beomgyu said loudly, resulting in everyone refilling their shot glasses. He knew Soobin well enough to know this would work on him because his pout was now replaced with a smirk.

"One, Two, THREE!"

With that they all took a shot and continued to do that until it was 11:30. The boys were already pretty tipsy but knew they couldn't get too drunk or they wouldn't be allowed in. Plus drinks would be there as well and Beomgyu was confident enough to get them free drinks. Walking into the bar Charli xcx was playing, resulting in the group dancing to the beat, when the song ended Beomgyu pulled out his lipgloss reapplying it quickly.

"Okay time to work my magic" Beomgyu winked at them leaving them. They watched as he approached an older man near the bar striking up a conversation. Taehyun's facial expression went sour, Soobin could tell jealousy was taking over. Due to that Soobin grabbed Taehyun and forced him to turn the opposite way while dancing. Luckily Taehyun was drunk enough to dance and his mood changed.

Dancing for a couple minutes without Beomgyu suddenly he came back with 4 shot glasses in his hands carefully trying not to spill it. "LOOK WHAT I GOTTT" he said, giving everyone each a shot glass.

"You're too good," Hueningkai said laughing loudly, which is crazy. They heard it from the loud ass music.

They all took the shot putting the empty glass in a specific area for empty shot glasses, With Beomgyu back the boys continued dancing and having a good time. After half an hour of nonstop dancing Soobin had the urge to pee so he quickly let them know and surprisingly no one else needed to pee which meant this was a solo adventure. Soobin was pretty drunk now he was a light weight and that shot really sent him over to being tipsy to being drunk. The line wasn't long so he quickly entered peeing as fast as he could before walking to the sink washing his hands. The drunkenness was clearly winning a bit because Soobin started to walk away and tripped up on his feet resulting in his falling down...face first to the ground.

Before he could even hit the floor someone was holding onto him tightly not realizing he had closed his eyes he quickly opened it as the person held him up straight now.

"Are you okay?" The voice Soobin could remember even if he had dementia was talking to him...was he really this drunk or was Choi Yeonjun in front of him holding him tightly?
