A Gift from Death

Death quickly learned the distinction between Harry Potter and just Harry. Harry carried his own sin: that of a glutton. In everything he had, he wanted more and more; his hunger was never satisfied, while his pleasure could be found only in indulgence. So rather than be dispelled from Death’s curse, Harry simply relished in its offerings, his own sins amplifying that of the brothers.
