Quiet Night In
Severus was not expecting the words he’d just heard. “What do you mean you’re not going out?” He questioned, looking up from the couch at the couple in front of him. Well.. his couple he supposed.
Narcissa laid her hand on his cheek. “Oh my sweet boy, we told you, we’re spending valentine’s day with you. Why wouldn’t we?”
Severus supposed she had a point. He was in this.. relationship now. But.. “Well I just figured.. you guys always go out to have dinner together! I don’t want to ruin your guys’ night.”
Lucius sat down next to him, placing a firm hand on his thigh. “You won’t be ruining our night, you don’t like going out much, so we’re staying in. The elves have prepared us a lovely meal, and we can enjoy it right here in the quietness of our own home. It will be just fine.”
The two were always very sweet with him, especially as he learned to navigate having not just one partner but two. They took care of him, and they loved him. He couldn’t deny he liked that.
He nodded, knowing arguing was not a wise course of action. “Well thank you.” He mumbled, slightly embarrassed. He wasn’t used to being vulnerable and that’s about all he felt with them.
“Now my love, go get dressed up, we will meet you at the table in half an hour.” Narcissa smiled, stroking his cheek with her thumb and leaning down to kiss his forehead.
Severus nods, heading to their bedroom. They’d given him his own space in their room to put his things, it was.. nice. He had a home he enjoyed for the first time.
He got dressed in a black suit, one that Lucius had personally bought him for outings. He thought it would look nice. He didn’t do much with his hair, it looked decent enough as it was.
Once he was dressed he simply sat on the bed, taking a few deep breaths as he tried to calm his nerves. The one and only time he’d celebrated Valentine’s day was with his mother, one lucky night when his father had been out too late to notice they’d enjoyed themselves. He hadn’t done it after, and never with a romantic partner. Let alone two.
He wasn’t sure what to do.

“Well don’t you look lovely.” Narcissa said as he came down the stairs, kissing his cheek gently. She was dressed in a long black sleeveless gown, and looked as elegant as ever. He took the hand she offered, and followed her to the table.
There was a beautifully cooked lamb roast, with a few sides-mainly vegetables-plated around it. “This looks amazing.” Severus said honestly, his breath hitching when Lucius walked in from the kitchen where he was no doubt ordering the elves.
He was in a dark black suit, with green details embedded down the seams. He had an emerald tie to match that looked beautiful against his skin.
“You both look.. wow.” He cursed himself for the ineloquent response, but didn’t move to correct himself. He followed Narcissa’s arm that was leading him to his chair, and sat down.
An elf came by, filling each of their plates with food, putting way too much on Severus’ plate compared to what he usually ate, but that was okay. He wasn’t going to complain.
Lucius talked about work through most of dinner, occasionally breaking off to let Narcissa talk. Severus didn’t say much the whole time, just the occasional nod of his head to acknowledge the two.
“Severus love, how did you like the meal?” Narcissa asked, a small smile on her face as she tried to pull him into the conversation.
“It was delicious, thank you both for this.” He smiled slightly, he was very happy to have these people. They both acknowledged his thanks, and then stood and asked the elves to clean.
“Now.” Lucius said, pulling Severus to the front of him. “Let’s get to the bedroom, yes?” He simply smirked when Severus blushed.
