“What… what was that?”

“I… I don’t know,” she replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sana remained still for a moment, feeling Jihyo’s warm breath lingering on her lips, the way Jihyo’s hands rested on her waist, gently caressing her. Time seemed to stretch as she counted silently in her mind, one, two, three, letting the moment sink in. But then, the magnetic pull between them became too strong to resist.

In an instant, Sana surged forward, capturing Jihyo’s lips with hers once more. The kiss was fierce and passionate, a collision of emotions that sent sparks flying. Jihyo let out a soft grunt of surprise, her grip tightening around Sana as she pulled her closer, their bodies melding together.

Sana sighed into the kiss, her heart racing as she slid her tongue along Jihyo’s lips, seeking permission to enter. Jihyo responded instantly, parting her lips slightly, allowing Sana to explore. The moment their tongues met, a low growl escaped Jihyo’s throat, sending a thrill through Sana.

This kiss was different—there were no lingering nerves, no hesitations. The moment she felt Jihyo’s soft growl against her lips, all doubts melted away. There was only the intoxicating taste of Jihyo, the warmth of her body pressed against her, and the overwhelming desire that consumed them both.

Sana lost herself in the kiss, her mind racing with thoughts of Jihyo and the way their lips moved together so perfectly. Jihyo’s hands, cool against Sana’s skin, explored her waist and back, sending shivers down her spine. Every touch ignited a fire within her, and she couldn’t help but return the kiss with equal fervor, pouring all her feelings into that moment.

Her mind was screaming—she couldn't concentrate on anything else but Jihyo

Jihyo

Park Jihyo

A soft growl escaped her lips as she tightened her grip on Jihyo, her hands caressing her cheeks, trailing down her neck and chest. Jihyo responded instantly, pulling back just slightly, their lips still brushing against each other, their breaths mingling in the charged atmosphere.

Time felt suspended as Sana remained almost frozen, the warmth of Jihyo’s presence enveloping her. But before she could process what was happening, Jihyo surged forward again, capturing her lips in a heated kiss. It ignited a fierce battle of tongues that Sana was more than willing to lose.

Slowly, almost teasingly, Jihyo took a step back, and Sana instinctively followed, their lips never fully parting, the connection between them electric. But Jihyo continued to retreat, taking another small step back, leaving Sana in a state of confusion and exhilaration. Was this real?

They continued to kiss, lost in the moment, but then Jihyo took another step back, pulling Sana with her. This time, Sana pulled away, furrowing her brow in confusion as she looked at Jihyo, trying to understand what was happening. But before she could voice her thoughts, Jihyo closed the distance again, capturing her lips once more.

Sana let herself be pulled in, her mind racing at double speed now. A strange fire ignited in her abdomen, and she felt her mouth go dry as she surrendered to the kiss, her heart pounding in her chest. “Jihyo, wait…” she managed to whisper between kisses, her voice barely audible, but filled with urgency.

Jihyo didn’t respond to Sana’s plea; instead, she took another step back, pulling Sana along with her until they reached the edge of the bed. Jihyo sat down, her expression a mix of determination and excitement, and Sana found herself unable to resist when Jihyo tugged gently at the hem of her shirt, guiding her closer.

Sana felt a rush of warmth as she stood before Jihyo, who looked utterly captivating with her tousled hair, breathless expression, and those enticing red lips. Jihyo’s eyes were slightly glazed, filled with a longing that made Sana’s heart race. She felt her legs settle on either side of Jihyo’s, effectively trapping her in place.

“Jihyo…” Sana breathed, her voice barely above a whisper as she leaned down, her hands gliding slowly over Jihyo’s neck, fingers caressing the delicate skin. The air between them crackled with tension, and before she could think any further, Sana leaned in, capturing Jihyo’s lips with a fervor that took them both by surprise.

The kiss was fierce, filled with all the pent-up emotions they had both been holding back. Jihyo had to brace herself with one hand behind her for support, ensuring they didn’t tumble back onto the bed. Sana let out a soft sigh, a low growl escaping her lips as she pressed against Jihyo, feeling the heat radiate between them.

Jihyo responded in kind, her other hand finding its way to Sana’s waist, fingers dancing along the exposed skin, igniting a fire that coursed through Sana’s body. The kiss deepened, and Sana felt herself melting into Jihyo, lost in the moment.

But then, Jihyo broke the kiss, trailing soft kisses down Sana’s cheek and along her jawline, making her way to her neck. Sana closed her eyes, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she leaned into Jihyo’s touch, her body responding instinctively. She could feel her hips moving of their own accord, a rhythm that matched the growing heat between them.

“Jihyo…” Sana murmured, her voice breathy. “I’m… I’m wet.”

Jihyo paused for a moment, her breath hitching as she looked up at Sana, a hint of mischief in her eyes. “I know,” she replied, a teasing smile playing on her lips.

Sana felt her cheeks flush, a wave of embarrassment washing over her. “No, I mean… my shirt,” she stammered, glancing down at the damp fabric clinging to her skin. “It’s wet from the rain. We’re going to soak the bed.”

Jihyo chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “Does it really matter?” she asked, her voice low and inviting. “Are you sure you care?”

Sana nodded, her heart racing. “I do! I mean… I don’t want to sleep in a wet bed,” she insisted, her voice a mix of flustered and playful.

Jihyo laughed, the sound warm and infectious, before leaning in to press soft kisses along Sana’s neck, trailing her lips downwards. Each kiss sent shivers down Sana’s spine, and she closed her eyes, opening her mouth to say something, but only breathy sighs escaped her lips instead.

“Don’t worry about it,” Jihyo murmured against her skin, her hands exploring the soft curves of Sana’s waist, pulling her closer. Jihyo’s lips continued their journey, moving lower, down the delicate curve of Sana’s neck and towards the beginning of her chest.

Sana sighed, her hips instinctively moving again, seeking out some kind of friction, some kind of connection. It was as if her body had a mind of its own, responding eagerly to Jihyo’s touch. Finally, she found her voice, breathless and raspy. “Then I’ll just sleep on the floor.”

Jihyo paused, a low sigh escaping her lips. “No,” she said firmly, her gaze intense. “I’ve been waiting to do this for a long time now.”

The weight of Jihyo’s words hung in the air, and Sana froze, her heart racing as she processed what Jihyo had just said. She pulled back slightly, just enough to meet Jihyo’s gaze, searching for the truth in her eyes. She cupped Jihyo’s cheeks, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath her palms. Jihyo smiled softly, a hint of shyness in her expression, and Sana noticed the flush on her cheeks, the sparkle in her eyes.

With a deep breath, Sana sighed, her heart swelling with a mix of emotions. “We should take a shower,” she suggested, her voice steadying as she tried to shift the mood, feeling a sense of urgency in the air.

Jihyo looked at her, a moment of silence passing between them, and Sana took it as a sign. She gently lifted herself off Jihyo’s lap, feeling the absence of warmth as she stood up. The air felt cooler against her damp shirt

“I won’t take too long, okay?”

Jihyo nodded, and as Sana turned to walk quickly toward the bathroom, a wave of uncertainty washed over her. The moment the door clicked shut behind Sana, Jihyo’s reaction was almost immediate. She shot up from the bed, her heart racing in disbelief.

If she were honest with herself, she wasn’t just shocked; she was lost and, unfortunately, very, very turned on. Jihyo groaned, running her hands over her face in frustration. What the hell was she thinking? Kissing Sana like that? Telling her all those things? Clearly, she wasn’t thinking straight—NO, SHE WASN’T THINKING AT ALL.

What had just happened? One moment they were shouting at each other, and the next they were tangled up in the bed, sharing a kiss that had turned everything upside down. Jihyo buried her head in her hands, shaking her head in denial. She needed to control herself; she needed to… do something. She didn’t know what, but she had to act.

Pacing back and forth in the room, her mind raced. What should they do now? They had to talk, that much was clear. But about what? How could they even start a conversation like this? There were so many things Jihyo hadn’t thought about—like Tzuyu, like Sungbin, like how Sana was feeling right now.

Then another thought struck Jihyo. She had kissed Sana. No, she had done more than just kiss her. But what did that mean? If Sana had kissed her back, it was because she liked it, because she felt the same way Jihyo did, because she wanted to. That gave Jihyo some confidence that tomorrow, Sana wouldn’t regret it—that things wouldn’t suddenly go wrong, that Sana wouldn’t distance herself from her. Yes, that had to be it, right? Otherwise, why would Sana have kissed her?

With a frustrated growl, Jihyo walked over to the bed, searching frantically for her phone. She pulled it out and bit her lip as she dialed a number. When Joohyun finally answered, Jihyo didn’t give her a chance to react before blurting it out.

“I did something stupid. A huge, gigantic mistake”

Joohyun sighed on the other end. “I assumed you’d be calling soon. It can’t have been that bad—”

Jihyo released a breath, her heart racing. “I kissed Sana”

There was a pause on the line, and Joohyun fell silent for a few seconds. Finally, she let out an exasperated huff. “For someone who wanted to take things slow, you sure skipped all the steps and went straight for the gold.”

“Shut up,” Jihyo retorted, feeling heat rise to her cheeks. “It… it just happened”

“Right, because that’s how these things work,” Joohyun replied, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

“It wasn’t planned! We were arguing, and then… it just happened!” Jihyo insisted, pacing again, her mind a whirlwind of confusion and excitement.

Joohyun sighed from the other end of the line. “Okay, so what was the mistake? Where is Sana now?”

“She’s taking a shower,” Jihyo answered, feeling a mixture of anxiety and anticipation.

“Hmm,” Joohyun hummed, and Jihyo could practically hear the mischievous smile on her face.

“It's not like that!”

“I didn’t say anything!” Joohyun replied, her tone teasing. “I’m just thinking.”

“Thinking what?” Jihyo shot back, trying to keep her composure.

“Nothing you care about,” Joohyun said nonchalantly.

Jihyo grunted in frustration. “I called you for advice!”

“Well, there’s really nothing I can tell you! You’ve already kissed the girl and now you have her taking a shower. What more can I say?” Joohyun teased.

Jihyo opened her mouth to protest, but Joohyun cut her off. “Besides, you probably won’t like my advice anyway.”

“Well, yeah I’m not going to sleep with Sana!” Jihyo exclaimed, the thought sending a jolt of panic through her. “Not like this”

“You used to be more fun back in college,” Joohyun quipped, a playful tone in her voice.

“We’re not in college anymore!” Jihyo argued, feeling exasperated.

“Doesn’t mean you can’t try,” Joohyun suggested lightly.

Jihyo repeated firmly, “I’m not going to sleep with Sana.”

Just as Joohyun was about to respond, a voice came from behind Jihyo. “Who are you talking to?”

Jihyo froze, her heart racing as she turned to see Sana standing there, a towel in her hand, drying her hair, wearing the same loose clothing from earlier. “I—uh…,” Jihyo stammered, her mind racing.

“Jihyo?” Joohyun called from the other end.

“I’ll talk to you later!” Jihyo blurted out, hanging up the call without waiting for an answer.

Sana looked at her quizzically, tilting her head. “Is everything okay?”

Jihyo nodded quickly, trying to appear nonchalant. “Yeah, I’m sorry. I was just talking to Joohyun… one of Tzuyu's aunts.”

Sana’s expression softened, and she smiled. “Oh, okay.” She took a few steps closer, standing right in front of Jihyo now. “Well, it’s your turn to shower.”

Jihyo felt her throat dry up, a nervous flutter in her stomach. “Right,” she managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sana’s proximity was overwhelming, and as she turned to head toward the bathroom, Jihyo felt a rush of emotions. She began to walk toward the shower, her heart pounding even louder in her chest.

As she reached the bathroom, she slowly closed the door behind her, letting out a shaky breath. Leaning against the door, she sighed heavily, trying to collect her thoughts.

Meanwhile, the moment Sana heard the door close behind Jihyo, she collapsed onto the bed, her breath coming in quick, agitated gasps. What the hell had just happened? Had she dreamed it? No, she was sure she hadn't, not when she could still feel Jihyo's hands on her and the delicate trail of kisses that had just marked her skin.

Sana sighed, thinking that a shower would help clear her mind, wash away the heat she felt. But no, the water only made her thoughts spiral even further. She groaned, feeling lost. What would happen now? Were they going to sleep? Talk? Ignore what had transpired and act like everything was normal? But what was even normal? Even if she wanted to pretend, she didn’t think she could go back to acting as if nothing had happened in front of Jihyo—not when she finally knew the taste of her lips or the sensation of having her breathless against her mouth. She couldn’t do it. But then what would happen? Would Jihyo say something?

Sana sighed, listening intently to the sound of water running from the bathroom. Suddenly, an idea struck her. She quickly got up and grabbed her phone, dialing Mina’s number.

Mina picked up almost immediately. “Sana! I thought you were dead! I’ve tried calling you so many times! Did Han help you?”

Sana didn’t answer, her mind blank as she processed everything. Mina continued to talk, her voice concerned and frantic. “I hope you’re okay. And listen, I’m sorry about earlier. I was an idiot. I’ll drop the whole Jihyo thing if that’s what you want.”

Finally, Sana reacted, taking a deep breath as she blurted out, “I kissed Jihyo.”

There was a moment of silence on the other end before Mina stammered, “Wait, what? Can you repeat that?”

Sana repeated, her voice trembling, “I kissed Jihyo.”

Mina fell silent for a second, processing what she had just heard. Then, she screamed, “WHAT?!”

Sana sighed, her face burning with embarrassment. “I know, I know! I’m freaking out too!”

From the other line, Sana could hear Dahyun’s voice asking what was going on, followed by Mina’s frantic response, “Sana kissed Jihyo!”

“SHE WHAT?!” Dahyun exclaimed, quickly taking the phone from Mina.

“Dahyun, wait—” Sana started, but Dahyun interrupted her.

“Tell me everything! Now!” Dahyun demanded, her excitement palpable.

Sana sighed again, feeling the heat rush to her cheeks. “Everything happened so fast. We were yelling at each other, and then Jihyo apologized and came over to hug me, and then… it just happened. We kissed.”

“Where’s Jihyo now?” Mina asked, her voice full of curiosity.

Sana hesitated, her embarrassment making her squirm. “Uh, she’s taking a shower.”

Dahyun made a sound that was a mix of disbelief and excitement. “Oh my god, Sana!”

“I don’t know what to do now!” Sana admitted, her voice fraught with confusion.

“Was it a good kiss or, like, a peck?” Dahyun pressed, clearly eager for details.

Sana felt herself flushing even more. “It was… a good kiss.”

From the other end, she could hear Mina and Dahyun squealing in delight. “So, are you guys going to fuck?” Dahyun asked, her tone playful yet serious.

“No! Of course not!” Sana exclaimed, horrified at the idea. “I’m already confused enough without thinking about that! I don’t even know what Jihyo wants or how she feels!”

Mina chimed in, “Haven’t you talked about it?”

Sana shook her head, even though they couldn’t see her. “No! We just kissed, and then I kind of freaked out.”

“Why did you freak out?” Mina asked, concern creeping into her voice.

“I don’t know!” Sana admitted, her voice rising in frustration. “I thought it was all a lie for a moment until I had Jihyo kissing my neck!”

Dahyun screamed in excitement, “She kissed your neck?! Sana you have to do something”

Sana groaned, feeling overwhelmed. “I’m not doing anything!”

“Okay sure, let Jihyo do it then,” Dahyun suggested, her tone teasing but serious.

Sana grunted in annoyance. “That’s not helping!”

“Just think about it!” Dahyun replied, undeterred. “You can’t just ignore what happened!”

“I know! But I need time to figure this out. I can’t just dive into it without knowing how Jihyo really feels,” Sana said, her voice softening slightly.

“Okay, okay,” Mina said gently. “Just take a deep breath and relax”

Sana took a deep breath, letting the air fill her lungs as she tried to calm the storm of emotions swirling inside her. “Okay,” she murmured, and Mina continued speaking.

“Breathe in, breathe out. It’s done. You kissed her, and now you have to talk. Even if you plan to, you know… do things, you still need to have that conversation with Jihyo,” Mina advised.

Dahyun interjected, “Being the mistress isn’t so bad!”

Mina shot back, “Do you have experience with that? Because I’m pretty sure you don’t!”

Dahyun laughed, “No, but for Park Jihyo? I would totally make an exception”

Mina rolled her eyes. “Sana, none of that matters right now. Just know that whatever happens, we’re here for you. Relax. If Jihyo kissed you, it was for a reason. Let her be the one to tell you how she feels.”

Sana nodded, even though she knew Mina couldn’t see her. “Okay… thank you.”

“Call me later, alright? Everything is going to be fine,” Mina said, her tone reassuring.

Sana sighed, feeling a bit lighter. “Yeah, I will.”

After they hung up, Sana reclined back onto her bed, letting out a long breath as she closed her eyes. Fatigue washed over her; it had been a terrible, tumultuous day. But as Dahyun’s words echoed in her mind, her cheeks flushed.

Jihyo… had really seemed ready to take her right then and there. And what had she said? That she had waited so long to do that? Had she wanted to kiss Sana before? Was that what she meant?

Sana bit her lip, the realization sending shivers down her spine. Thoughts raced through her mind, each one more intoxicating than the last. What did this mean for her and Jihyo?

After a minute of lost contemplation, Sana heard the bathroom door creak open. “Sana?” Jihyo called tentatively.

Sana turned to see Jihyo peeking out from behind the door, her cheeks flushed. “What’s up?” Sana asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

“I, um… I forgot my clothes,” Jihyo admitted, a hint of embarrassment coloring her tone.

Sana nodded, rising from the bed. “Okay, I’ll get them for you.” She rummaged through Jihyo’s suitcase, her heart racing as she searched. Finally, she found the clothes Jihyo had worn earlier and handed them over.

“Thank you,” Jihyo said softly, a shy smile crossing her face as she took the clothes. She quickly closed the bathroom door, leaving Sana alone once more.

Sana let out a deep sigh, feeling the tension in the air. Just five minutes passed before the door opened again, and out stepped Jihyo, a towel wrapped around her hair. Sana walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, avoiding eye contact, her heart pounding.

As Jihyo placed the towel on a nearby chair, she walked slowly toward Sana and sat down beside her. “Can you brush my hair?” Jihyo asked, her voice gentle.

Sana nodded, grateful for the distraction. Jihyo handed her a brush, and as Sana began to run it through Jihyo’s hair, she took her time, each stroke slow and deliberate. Jihyo relaxed, a soft melody escaping her lips as she began to hum, the soothing sound filling the room.

Sana inched closer, her fingers working through Jihyo's hair, feeling the strands slip through her fingers. It was calming, and for a brief moment, all the chaos and confusion faded away. But soon, Sana found herself lost in the intimacy of the moment.

After a while, Sana stopped brushing, placing the brush down on the bed. “All done,” she said softly.

Jihyo nodded but didn’t move away. Neither did Sana. They lingered in the quiet space, breathing in the familiar scent of each other. Jihyo leaned back just slightly, resting her head against Sana’s shoulder, and Sana felt her heart race anew.

Jihyo’s hair brushed against Sana's cheek, and Sana shifted a bit to better accommodate the girl. They sat there in silence, the air thick with unspoken words and emotions, the world outside forgotten for the moment.

Jihyo finally broke the silence, her voice soft. “The shower really helped me a lot. You were right.”

Sana smiled and nodded, feeling her heart race at the sound of Jihyo's voice. Her hands rested at her sides, unsure of where to put them, unsure of what to do next.

“It helped me too,” Sana admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jihyo nodded and turned her head slightly, her delicate features illuminated in the soft light. “Are you ready to sleep then?”

Sana looked at Jihyo, her gaze traveling over every inch of her face—her warm hazel eyes, perfectly shaped eyebrows, delicate nose, rosy cheeks, and those sweet, inviting lips. She felt a flutter in her stomach, and without hesitation, she nodded, her eyes lingering on Jihyo’s lips.

Despite the nerves coursing through her, Sana felt a fierce determination. She had nothing to lose. “Yes,” she breathed, her voice steady.

Jihyo nodded again but didn’t move, her gaze mirroring Sana’s as it fell to Sana’s lips. There was an unspoken understanding between them, a gravity that pulled them closer.

Jihyo leaned in slightly, her breath ghosting over Sana’s lips as she said, “Then it’s time to sleep.”

Sana felt her heart race as she nodded, her breath hitching in anticipation. Without another word, she closed the distance, capturing Jihyo’s lips with her own.

This kiss was different from before; there was no rush, no anger, no nerves from being their first kiss. It was calm and sweet, a gentle exploration of one another. Jihyo tilted her head slightly, allowing for a deeper connection, and Sana instinctively moved her hands, placing them on Jihyo's waist.

Jihyo sighed softly, pressing her lips more firmly against Sana’s, and Sana responded by leaning in further, her heart soaring. She raised a hand to cup Jihyo's cheek, grounding herself in the moment, even though she knew Jihyo wouldn’t pull away.

Then, she felt the delicate touch of Jihyo’s tongue against her lips, and a soft sigh escaped her as she opened her mouth slightly, granting Jihyo access. Their tongues met, a gentle dance that sent shivers down Sana’s spine. She couldn’t help but sigh again, opening her mouth wider, drawing her in closer as her thumb traced a soothing pattern on Jihyo's waist over the fabric of her shirt.

Eventually, they pulled apart, both of them breathless, but Jihyo didn’t move far. She kept her forehead pressed against Sana’s, their breaths mingling in the space between them. Jihyo’s eyes were heavy-lidded, filled with a warmth that made Sana’s heart flutter.

Jihyo lifted a hand, her thumb brushing softly over Sana’s lip, as if savoring the moment. It was tender, intimate, and Sana felt her cheeks heat up under Jihyo’s gaze. When Jihyo finally pulled back, she looked at Sana with an expression that was hard to decipher, a mix of affection and something deeper.

Sana nodded, feeling a rush of affection in return, and leaned in for another kiss—this one short and sweet, just a peck. “It’s time to sleep,” she said softly, her voice laced with a hint of playfulness.

Jihyo nodded, a smile breaking across her face as she leaned in to give Sana another quick kiss. “Yeah,” she echoed, her tone light but her eyes sparkling with warmth.

Sana smiled softly, her cheeks still flushed from their earlier kisses, and she reluctantly pulled away. Jihyo rose from the bed, and Sana followed her lead as they both climbed under the covers, snuggling in to escape the chill of the room.

Sana sighed contentedly, her gaze drifting up to the ceiling. She wasn’t quite sure what to do next, the silence settling comfortably between them. Jihyo shifted beside her, adjusting herself to lie on her side, facing Sana. The warmth of Jihyo’s presence was comforting, and Sana felt her heart flutter at the sight of her.

They lay there for a moment, simply looking at each other, the air thick with unspoken words. Finally, Jihyo broke the silence. “It stopped raining,” she said softly, her voice a gentle whisper.

Sana nodded, a small smile creeping onto her lips. “Yeah,” she replied, feeling the warmth of the moment.

“With a bit of luck, we’ll be able to head back tomorrow,” Jihyo added, her tone light but hopeful.

“That’s good,” Sana said, her heart feeling a mix of emotions.

Jihyo bit her lip, a hint of nervousness creeping into her expression. Sana noticed it right away, and her heart raced as she recalled Dahyun’s teasing voice in her head, urging her to take a leap. But in that moment, all she wanted was to be close to Jihyo.

“I’m a little cold,” Sana admitted, glancing at the girl with a shy smile.

Jihyo asked, her heart skipping a beat. “I hope it doesn’t get colder tonight.”

“Yeah, but…still, I’m cold right now”

Jihyo looked at her, a hint of uncertainty in her eyes. “I could go grab some more blankets if you want,” she offered, her voice wavering slightly.

Sana smiled gently, shaking her head. “No, it’s okay,” she said, stretching out her hand slowly. She reached for Jihyo’s, intertwining their fingers carefully, hoping Jihyo wouldn’t notice the slight tremor in her hand. “Maybe… we can think of something else to keep warm.”

Jihyo glanced down at their hands, her cheeks flushing a deeper shade of pink as she met Sana’s gaze. Sana felt her own face heat up, and she cleared her throat, feeling a bit shy.

“If you want, you can… you know, hug me,” Jihyo suggested, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sana’s eyes widened slightly, and for a moment, there was a pause before she nodded, a soft smile breaking through her nervousness. “Okay,” she said, her voice warm and inviting.

Jihyo opened her arms, and Sana moved closer, resting her face in the crook of Jihyo’s neck. She wrapped one arm around Jihyo’s waist, feeling the warmth radiate from her. Jihyo embraced her, wrapping her arms around Sana’s back and pulling her in a little tighter. They stayed like that, breathing slowly, the world outside fading away.

Sana closed her eyes, inhaling the comforting scent of Jihyo, memorizing the moment. Jihyo began to trace a gentle pattern on Sana’s back, her fingers moving rhythmically, soothingly. Sana sighed softly, the sound barely escaping her lips, catching Jihyo’s attention.

“If you keep doing that, I might just fall asleep,” Sana murmured, feeling relaxed and safe.

Jihyo smiled, her breath warm against Sana’s ear. “Well, that’s the plan, isn’t it? To sleep?”

Sana nodded, a small smile on her lips. “Yeah, but I can still hold on a little longer,” she replied, her voice soft.

“You don’t have to,” Jihyo said gently, her fingers continuing their soothing motion.

Sana shrugged, inching closer to Jihyo’s neck until her lips brushed against the skin with each word. “I want to enjoy this a bit more. Like you said…I’ve been waiting for this for a long time.”

At Sana’s words, Jihyo froze for a moment, inhaling sharply. She cleared her throat, the weight of the moment settling in. Sana pulled back slightly to meet Jihyo’s gaze, her heart racing as she leaned in to kiss her softly.

“We will talk tomorrow,” she whispered, her lips lingering close to Jihyo’s.

Jihyo nodded, her eyes sparkling with warmth and understanding. Sana returned to her position, tightening her hold on Jihyo, feeling the comfort of their closeness. She pressed a gentle kiss to Jihyo’s neck, her heart swelling with affection.

“Goodnight Jihyo,” Sana whispered, her voice tender.

Jihyo swallowed hard, her heart fluttering at the intimacy of the moment. “Goodnight, Sana,” she replied softly, her voice filled with warmth as she settled in closer, ready to drift off into a peaceful sleep wrapped in each other’s embrace.

When Sana opened her eyes, she felt a chill run through her body. Furrowing her brows, she searched behind her, but there was nothing there. She blinked against the morning light filtering through the curtains, taking a deep breath. As her gaze swept across the room, she sought out Jihyo but found the bed empty.

Her heart sank, and she frowned even more, a sense of unease settling in her chest. Had it all been real? Everything that had happened the night before? The warmth of Jihyo’s presence felt like a distant memory. She could still smell the lingering scent of Jihyo’s perfume in the air.

Panic bubbled up inside her. What if Jihyo had woken up, regretted everything, and left? The thought made her stomach twist uncomfortably. Quickly, she swung her legs over the side of the bed, searching for her belongings, her phone, anything to ground her.

Just then, a voice broke through her thoughts. Sana strained to listen, and moments later, the door to the bedroom swung open. Relief washed over her as she saw Jihyo enter, a couple of bags in her hands and her phone pressed to her ear. Jihyo smiled brightly, her eyes lighting up when she caught sight of Sana.

“I thought I’d be back before you woke up,” Jihyo said, her voice warm with affection.

Before Sana could respond, a voice crackled through the phone, making Jihyo grunt in frustration. “No, that was not for you! I’ll call you later, okay? And please let Tzuyu know” She hung up with a sigh and turned her attention back to Sana, her face softening.

“Did you wake up long ago?” Jihyo asked, stepping closer.

Sana shook her head, still processing her emotions. “No. Where did you go?” she questioned, her curiosity piqued.

“I went to grab a few things,” Jihyo replied casually, her smile reassuring. “The car is ready, but I thought I’d pick up some snacks for the road so we wouldn’t get hungry.”

Sana nodded, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. Jihyo placed the bags on a nearby chair, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “And I tried the cookies you made,” she said, her grin widening. “They’re always delicious”

Sana smiled, the warmth in her chest growing as she watched Jihyo’s eyes sparkle with mischief. Jihyo returned the smile, and Sana felt a rush of affection wash over her. She sat down on the edge of the bed, observing Jihyo as she rummaged through her suitcase attentively.

Sana didn’t say anything, but a wave of confusion washed over her. How was everything supposed to be now? Did she need to say something? Clearing her throat, she looked down at her hands, playing with her fingers nervously.

Jihyo glanced over at her, curiosity evident in her expression.

Sana lifted her gaze, her cheeks warming as she met Jihyo’s eyes. “Um, about yesterday…” she began, hesitating slightly. The words felt heavy on her tongue. “It was… something.”

Sana noticed a subtle shift in Jihyo’s expression, almost imperceptible, but it didn’t escape her. A pang of worry settled in Sana’s heart. Jihyo paused what she was doing, focusing entirely on her. “Yeah, it was,” Jihyo confirmed softly.

Sana nodded, taking a deep breath to steady herself. “So, now what?” She looked at Jihyo firmly, waiting for a response.

Jihyo remained silent, her gaze steady on Sana. The weight of unspoken words hung in the air, and Sana felt a chill run down her spine, the intensity of Jihyo’s stare making her heart race.

Sana sighed, gathering her thoughts. “I understand the situation, but… I don’t think I can just act like nothing happened.” The admission felt like a release, but it also brought a knot of anxiety to her stomach.

Jihyo continued to look at her without saying anything, and Sana could feel her heart pounding in her chest. The silence stretched between them, and she shivered under Jihyo’s unwavering gaze. “I don’t want to hurt anyone,” she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. “But I can try to forget it… or pretend it didn’t happen, and I can leave you alone, if that’s what you want.”

Jihyo shook her head, the motion firm yet gentle. “No,” she said simply.

Sana stared at Jihyo, confusion swirling within her. “huh?” she asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Jihyo let out a soft sigh, moving closer to Sana. She cupped Sana’s cheeks in her hands, tilting her head slightly to look into her eyes. “No, Sana,” she repeated, her voice steady and sincere. “I don’t want you to leave. I don’t want to forget what happened.”

Sana opened her mouth to speak, to ask a million questions, but Jihyo silenced her with a gentle touch. “I’m serious,” Jihyo insisted, her gaze unwavering. “I don’t want to forget this.”

“Really?” Sana asked hesitantly, searching Jihyo’s eyes for any sign of doubt.

Jihyo nodded, letting out a deep breath, her thumbs moving softly over Sana’s cheeks. “I know this situation is... complicated,” she admitted. “Nothing in my life is clear right now. But you... you are one of the least complicated things I have, and I don’t want to let that go.”

Sana felt her heart swell at Jihyo's words, but uncertainty still lingered. “The kisses, the cuddling... everything that happened... it was real?” she asked softly.

“Absolutely,” Jihyo confirmed, her eyes sparkling with sincerity.

Sana looked at her, speechless for a moment, before finally managing to nod. “Then... what happens now?” she asked slowly, trepidation lacing her voice.

Jihyo shrugged slightly, her expression contemplative. “I don’t know,” she replied honestly, her brow furrowing. “I really don’t have an answer for that.”

Sana’s heart sank at the uncertainty. “I don’t want to be the other woman,” she said, her voice trembling. “I don’t want to be responsible for breaking apart a family. I don’t want Tzuyu to get hurt.”

Jihyo shook her head firmly. “No, Sana, nothing is going to happen,” she insisted. “My family has been broken for a long time. You didn’t break anything, and you won’t.”

Sana searched Jihyo’s face, looking for reassurance, but her heart ached with the weight of the situation. “But I don’t want to be the reason for more pain,” she replied, her voice heavy with emotion.

Jihyo’s expression softened, and she leaned closer, her forehead resting against Sana’s. “You’re not,” she whispered. “You’re not responsible for the past. You’re here now, and that’s what matters.”

Sana let out a soft sigh, her heart still heavy with uncertainty. “What do we do?” she asked, searching Jihyo’s eyes for guidance.

Jihyo smiled slightly, the warmth returning to her expression. “Whatever we want, that’s something I know” she said, her voice filled with a newfound confidence. “We can take it one step at a time.”

Sana felt a small smile tug at her lips as she moved closer, pulling Jihyo into an embrace. The angle was a bit awkward since Sana was sitting on the bed and Jihyo was standing, but neither of them minded. The warmth of their closeness was comforting.

After a moment, they pulled apart slightly, and Jihyo looked down at Sana with a playful smile. “Now that that’s cleared up,” she said, teasingly, “can I kiss you?”

Sana’s cheeks flushed a deep red, and she smiled shyly. “Um… no,” she replied, trying to contain her laughter.

Jihyo’s eyes widened in bewilderment. “What? Why not?”

Sana giggled, shaking her head. “I haven’t brushed my teeth yet. You can’t kiss me like this”

Jihyo chuckled, her confusion turning into amusement. “It doesn’t bother me,” she said, leaning in closer, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

“It bothers me” Sana insisted, raising a hand to gently press against Jihyo’s face, stopping her advance. “Seriously, no”

Jihyo grunted in playful frustration, but she nodded, backing off slightly. “Okay, okay, I get it,” she said, a smile still plastered on her face. “But you owe me a kiss later.”

Sana laughed, feeling lighter as the tension eased between them. “Deal,” she replied, her heart fluttering at the thought.

Jihyo smiled as Sana gathered her courage. With a boldness that surprised even her, Sana leaned in and planted a soft kiss on Jihyo’s cheek. “I’ll be right back,” she said, a hint of mischief in her voice as she walked towards the bathroom.

Jihyo’s heart fluttered at the unexpected gesture, her smile widening as she watched Sana disappear.

Once inside the bathroom, Sana quickly brushed her teeth, washed her face, and ran a brush through her hair.

When she emerged, she found Jihyo sitting on the bed, her phone in hand. “Everything okay?” Sana asked, noticing the focused look on Jihyo's face.

“Yeah,” Jihyo replied, looking up with a smile. “Joohyun sent me a picture of Tzuyu. She misses me.”

Sana nodded, feeling a sense of comfort in their easy conversation. Jihyo set her phone down on the bed and extended her hand towards Sana. Without thinking, Sana took it, and Jihyo gently pulled her closer.

Sana’s cheeks flushed at the unexpected movement, but she didn’t mind at all. Before she knew it, she was practically sitting on Jihyo’s lap, feeling the warmth radiating from her.

Jihyo rested her hands on Sana’s waist, drawing patterns with her fingers, causing Sana to sigh softly as she settled more comfortably. Her cheeks flushed a deeper shade of red as she felt the intimacy of the moment.

With a newfound boldness, Sana allowed her hands to wander up to Jihyo's neck, her fingers gently tracing along the skin there. Jihyo looked at her, curiosity dancing in her eyes. “What’s going on?” she asked, a teasing lilt in her voice.

“Nothing,” Sana replied, trying to sound casual. “I’m just surprised, that’s all.”

Jihyo smiled, her gaze softening. “Surprised?”

Sana nodded, feeling a rush of warmth as their eyes locked. Gathering her courage, she leaned in, closing the distance between them and kissing Jihyo slowly. The kiss was tender, filled with the electricity that had been building between them.

But before Jihyo could deepen the kiss, Sana pulled away, her heart racing. It was something she couldn’t quite comprehend—how Jihyo seemed to want to touch her all the time, to keep her close, never letting go. It was a feeling that both excited and terrified her, but she knew one thing for sure: now that they had crossed that line, she was ready to embrace whatever came next.

Jihyo pouted slightly, and Sana couldn’t help but smile at her adorable expression. With a playful glint in her eyes, Jihyo took Sana by the cheeks, drawing her in once more for another kiss. This time, Sana melted into it, allowing herself to be swept away as they shared a soft, lingering kiss, simply enjoying the moment.

As they kissed, Jihyo’s hands began to wander, moving slowly down to Sana’s waist, caressing the bare skin that was exposed. There was no rush, just a gentle exploration that sent shivers down Sana’s spine. Jihyo’s fingers traced along her sides, moving down to her hips and then to her thighs, each touch igniting a warmth within her.

Sana sighed softly, breaking the kiss again, feeling breathless as Jihyo continued to shower her with affection. Jihyo pressed gentle kisses along Sana’s cheek, then down her jawline, and finally to her neck, each kiss igniting a spark of pleasure that made Sana smile.

“What?” Jihyo asked softly, her lips brushing against Sana’s skin.

“Nothing,” Sana replied, a hint of laughter in her voice as she felt the warmth of Jihyo’s breath against her neck.

Jihyo continued to kiss her neck, humming softly, and Sana couldn’t help but feel giddy. “I just never thought I’d be in this position,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jihyo paused for a moment, placing a delicate kiss on a particularly sensitive spot on Sana’s neck, making her gasp softly. “I didn’t either,” Jihyo murmured, her voice low and sultry. “But we can do whatever we want now.”

Sana sighed, tightening her grip around Jihyo, her fingers weaving through her hair as she pulled her closer. “Then let’s enjoy it,” she said, her heart racing with excitement.

Jihyo responded by kissing her more fervently, deepening their connection. As they pulled away slightly, Sana caught her breath and remembered something. “You said something yesterday,” she began, her voice a mix of teasing and curiosity. “That you’d been waiting a long time to do this.”

Jihyo paused, a playful smile gracing her lips as she began to hum again, clearly enjoying the moment. “Yeah, I did,” she admitted, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Sana looked at Jihyo, her curiosity piqued. “Since when?” she asked, her tone light but genuinely interested.

Jihyo shrugged playfully, a bright smile still on her face. “I don’t really know,” she replied, leaning in to plant a quick peck on Sana’s lips. “I’m not going to tell you”

“Why?”

”Just because”

“Okay then” Sana smiled, pulling back slightly to examine Jihyo’s face. “…You’re really beautiful, Miss Park,” she said

Jihyo laughed, shaking her head. “Don’t call me that, not when we’re in this position,” she replied.

Sana giggled and wrapped her arms around Jihyo, pulling her into a warm embrace. Jihyo returned the hug tightly, and Sana could feel her heart racing, beating faster than ever. She was sure Jihyo could hear it too, the way it thudded against her chest.

After a moment, Jihyo pulled back slightly, a soft smile on her lips. Sana sighed contentedly, but then she hesitated, a question bubbling to the surface. “I have a doubt,” she said, her voice a little more serious.

Jihyo nodded, encouraging her to continue. “What is it?”

Sana took a breath, gathering her thoughts. “Now that we’re… doing whatever this is, will people talk?”

Jihyo shrugged, a confident smile on her face. “They won’t find out,” she replied reassuringly.

Sana made a face, uncertainty creeping in. “What if they do?”

Jihyo sighed, her expression shifting slightly. “If it’s about Sungbin, you don’t have to worry about anything,” she said, her tone firm.

Sana looked at her, sensing the weight behind Jihyo’s words. “I know… I’ve noticed things,” she admitted quietly, her gaze dropping to her hands.

Jihyo’s hand moved to Sana’s waist, her touch gentle yet grounding. “Don’t worry about it,” she said softly. “I’ll make sure nothing happens.”

Sana’s heart raced again, but this time with a hint of anxiety. “So, are we just going to sneak around forever?” she asked, and as soon as the words left her mouth, she felt a shift in the atmosphere. Jihyo tensed slightly, and suddenly, the warmth of her hands on Sana’s waist felt different—awkward, almost uncomfortable.

Sana’s heart sank as she met Jihyo’s gaze, anxiety bubbling within her. “Jihyo…” she started, but Jihyo interrupted.

“No,” Jihyo said firmly, her voice steady. “We’re not going to sneak around forever. I don’t want that”

Sana could see the conflict in Jihyo’s eyes, and it made her heart ache. She bit her lip, taking a deep breath before gently cupping Jihyo’s cheeks in her hands. “It’s okay,” she said softly, her voice steadying. “I can wait. We’ll figure this out together. We don’t have to think about everything right now.”

Jihyo nodded, a small smile breaking through the tension. “You’re right,” she replied, her voice warm. “Joohyun was right.”

Sana looked at her, confused. “Joohyun?”

Jihyo chuckled lightly. “I can introduce you to her sometime.”

Sana’s brows furrowed. “I thought you didn’t talk to Tzuyu’s aunts anymore.”

Jihyo shrugged playfully. “There are a lot of things you don’t know yet,” she teased, but there was a hint of sincerity in her tone.

Sana nodded slowly, curiosity bubbling within her. “Okay, but… in what way did Joohyun was right?”

Jihyo smiled, her eyes sparkling with affection. “In everything, really. In you, specifically.”

Sana’s heart raced at the compliment. “Does she know?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jihyo nodded. “She does, but she won’t say anything. She was the one who… pushed me to do something about it.”

Sana beamed, feeling a rush of gratitude. “Then I have to thank her,” she said, her smile widening.

“Please don’t,” Jihyo replied, her tone mock-serious. “Or I’ll never hear the end of it.”

Sana laughed, her cheeks aching from the joy of it all. “Well, then… Mina knows too,” she said, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Jihyo raised an eyebrow, feigning shock. “Mina? Really?”

“Yes,” Sana replied, her voice playful. “She’s been in on it for a while now.”

Jihyo shook her head, a smile still on her lips. “I should have known, she was pretty straightforward with me that night at your house”

Sana nodded, her heart fluttering. “It’s been a while since I’ve felt this way about someone, you know?”

Jihyo’s eyes sparkled with interest. “Well, then, I must be very fortunate that Miss Minatozaki has taken such an interest in me,” she teased gently.

Sana giggled, feeling warmth spread through her. “I guess,” she said, leaning in to place a soft kiss on Jihyo’s lips. “Come on now, it’s time to go. We should head back. Tzuyu is probably missing you.”

Jihyo pouted, her expression adorably distressed. “But I really prefer to stay here for just a moment longer. I don’t want to return to the real world yet.”

Sana smiled at Jihyo’s playful reluctance. “Maybe another time? We both know we can’t just stay here.”

“Okay” With a resigned sigh, Jihyo nodded. “You’re right.” She let Sana shift off her lap, standing up and adjusting her clothes.

Sana watched as Jihyo walked over to her suitcase, making sure everything was in order. Jihyo's movements were graceful, and Sana admired her for a moment before walking over to do the same.

“Looks like we’re all set,” Jihyo said, glancing at Sana.

Sana mirrored her actions, ensuring her belongings were packed. Their eyes met, and for a brief moment, everything felt perfect.

“It’s time to go,” Jihyo said, a hint of reluctance in her voice.

Sana nodded, a smile creeping onto her face. “Yeah, let’s do this.” They both picked up their things, ready to step back into the world waiting outside.

Sana grunted as she settled into the passenger seat, and Jihyo mimicked her slightly, adjusting the seat and the mirror.

“Finally,” Jihyo said, a playful smile on her lips.

“Did you miss your car?” Sana asked, glancing over at Jihyo.

“You have no idea,” Jihyo replied with a shrug.

Sana smiled, adjusting herself comfortably in the seat. Jihyo finally turned on the car, the engine humming to life as they began to pull out of the workshop.

As they drove, Sana gazed out the window, lost in thought. Jihyo began to navigate the streets, breaking the silence. “At last, we're heading home,” she said, her voice light.

Sana nodded, a soft sigh escaping her lips. “Yeah. Mina hasn’t stopped messaging me though. I suspect it’s Dahyun using Mina’s phone.”

Jihyo chuckled, glancing over at Sana with an amused expression. “You’re probably going to be questioned by the two of them.”

“Yeah, but it doesn’t bother me too much,” Sana admitted, her smile returning.

Jihyo continued to drive, weaving through the familiar streets. “If it weren’t for the situation that brought us here, maybe I would have stayed a little longer. We could have explored the streets, visited some places—maybe even brought Tzuyu along. She’d love it too,” Jihyo said, her tone wistful.

Sana brightened at the thought. “We can do that someday,” she replied with enthusiasm.

Jihyo smiled and nodded, her focus returning to the road ahead. As they settled into a comfortable silence, Sana noticed that this silence felt different. It wasn't tense like the one from the night before; it wasn’t forced. It was warm and cozy, filled with unspoken understanding.

Now, Sana knew—she knew that Jihyo felt something for her. She wasn’t sure what it was exactly, but it was definitely something.

Sana smiled softly to herself, stealing glances at Jihyo as she drove. The way the sun illuminated Jihyo’s bronzed skin made her glow, and her eyes sparkled with life. Sana couldn’t help but sigh, feeling a warmth spread through her as she settled against the window, watching the scenery pass by.

Lost in her thoughts, she remained there, until suddenly she felt something delicate and warm resting on her thigh. Startled, she turned her head to look at Jihyo, who was biting her lip, her cheeks slightly flushed. Following her gaze down, Sana’s heart raced as she noticed Jihyo's hand resting on her leg.

Sana’s breath caught in her throat, shocked by the sudden rush of emotion. Jihyo… was going to be the death of her. She adjusted herself slightly, her heart pounding as she glanced back at Jihyo.

Jihyo must have sensed her gaze because her hand trembled slightly, as if she were about to pull away. But before Jihyo could withdraw, Sana instinctively took her hand, intertwining their fingers. The blush that spread across Sana’s cheeks was undeniable—she was surprised by her own boldness but decided to say nothing, letting the moment linger.

With their hands resting on Sana’s lap, Jihyo turned her attention back to the road, while Sana squeezed Jihyo’s hand gently, tracing small patterns over her knuckles.

Ah yes, Sana knew

When Sana finally opened her eyes, she noticed two things.

First, Jihyo had let go of her hand a while ago, and now it rested comfortably on her thigh. Second, surprisingly, they had already arrived back in the city.

She sat up straighter, squinting her eyes. “Did I sleep the whole way?” she asked, her voice hoarse as she looked around.

“Yes, I thought I would have to carry you to your apartment,” Jihyo smiled.

“I'm sorry,” Sana replied, feeling a bit embarrassed. “I didn’t even notice when I fell asleep.”

Jihyo shook her head slightly, her smile still present. “Don’t worry about it. It’s good that you slept.”

Sana sighed and then asked, “Did anything happen while I was out?”

Jihyo shook her head. “Actually, the ride back was quicker. But your phone has been ringing like crazy,” she said, glancing at her device.

“Probably Mina,” Sana said, raising an eyebrow.

Jihyo nodded, giving Sana's thigh a gentle squeeze. “You’ll see her in a couple of minutes. We’re practically at your apartment.”

Sana sighed and grunted in response, feeling a mix of emotions. Jihyo smiled and lifted her hand, affectionately stroking Sana’s neck. “Are you okay?” she asked softly.

“Just slept a bit awkwardly,” Sana admitted.

Jihyo chuckled. “Don’t worry about it.” She pulled the car up to the curb outside Sana’s building. “Now you can sleep in your own bed.”

Sana nodded, unbuckling her seatbelt. “Thank you for bringing me back,” she said sincerely.

“It’s nothing,” Jihyo replied. “Thank you for keeping me company.”

Sana smiled. “It’s really no trouble. I’m glad I did.”

Jihyo smiled and pointed towards the entrance. “You should probably get out now before Mina comes down to spy on us.”

Sana shook her head. “Mina wouldn’t do that. She doesn’t even know I’m back yet.”

Jihyo shrugged, a teasing glint in her eyes. “You never know”

Sana furrowed her brow and asked, “Well in that case, don’t you want to come in?”

With a soft sigh, Jihyo replied, “I’d love to, but I really need to get home to Tzuyu and Joohyun.”

Sana nodded, understanding. She opened the door but paused before stepping out, turning to look at Jihyo intently. What was she supposed to do now? How did she say goodbye? Should she kiss her? Just hug her?

Biting her lip, she hesitated until Jihyo seemed to notice her uncertainty. Leaning in slightly, Jihyo pressed her lips gently against Sana’s, a soft and tender kiss that made Sana sigh into it. She leaned in, cradling Jihyo’s cheek in her hand, savoring the moment. She knew she would never tired of kissing Jihyo.

As they slowly pulled apart, Jihyo smiled softly. “I’ll see you on Monday.”

Sana nodded, her heart fluttering. “I’ll be waiting then.”

Jihyo agreed, giving Sana one last peck on the lips before leaning over to grab Sana’s suitcase from the back seat. She handed it to Sana, who took it gratefully.

“Thanks,” Sana said, stepping out of the car. She turned back for a final look at Jihyo

As Jihyo pulled away, she threw Sana one last radiant smile, a gesture that made Sana’s heart flutter even more. She watched as Jihyo’s car disappeared down the street, her own heart racing at a thousand beats per minute. Butterflies danced wildly in her stomach, and the tingling sensation lingered on her lips from their shared kiss.

Jihyo was, quite literally, on cloud nine.

As she drove home, the fatigue was settling into her muscles, but she refused to let it affect her.

She couldn’t, not when she felt this happy, not when her mind was filled with thoughts of Sana.

Sana laughing.

Sana in her lap, kissing her, shifting slightly, sighing, stifling gasps each time Jihyo kissed lower.

It was… magical.

Jihyo tightened her grip on the steering wheel, turning right to enter her parking space. It was truly magical, and she couldn’t help but smile. Never, ever in her life had she imagined she would feel this way. Sure, she had been determined to try, but when the moment finally arrived, Jihyo simply… let herself go. It was incredible, and she had no regrets whatsoever. There was nothing to regret.

She sighed happily as she parked the car outside her house, glancing at the open windows. While she had loved the trip—thanks to Sana—she had also missed Tzuyu so much.

Getting out of the car, she grabbed her suitcase and closed the door behind her, walking towards the entrance. From inside, she could hear voices, but her mind didn’t register much. She fumbled for her keys, placed them in the lock, and opened the door.

But as soon as she stepped inside, everything froze. The first thing she saw was Joohyun, sitting in the living room with an odd posture and an awkward smile.

Then Tzuyu came running toward her, her little legs moving as fast as they could. The sight made Jihyo’s heart swell. But right behind Tzuyu was their mother, sitting across from Joohyun with the same judging expression that Jihyo had always hated.

Finally, there was Sungbin, emerging from the kitchen with a cup of tea in hand. Jihyo felt her mouth go dry and her legs tremble at the unexpected scene before her.
