Sweet Beats Festival (Black Sapphire Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie)
"Black Sapphire Cookie! Candy Apple Cookie!"
A shout could be heard, ringing through the spire. Both of the owners of the names appeared not long after where the shouting came from, one about to burst out in happiness and the other wearing a scowl on his face.
"My dear minions!" *Hic* "It appears... *Hic* that WE! ...ran out of hollyberry juice *Hic*." The beast's words slurred together, his speech quite slow and his voice changing octaves ever so often.
"Typical." Black Sapphire Cookie rolled is eyes, staring down at his drunken master. Seriously, this was the third time this week! He was getting pretty tired of having to leave the spire not to spread deceit, but to refill his master's cup of hollyberry juice. Just like if he was taking care of a toddler all over again. Expect this time the 'toddler' was a thousand year old beast.
Next to him, Candy Apple Cookie was particularly bouncing off of the walls seemingly ready to take on the world, even if the only thing they needed was hollyberry juice. Now, the remaining question was, how will they buy that juice? Because if he remembers correctly, the last time they went (which mind you, was yesterday), he paid with his remaining two gold, meaning that he was completely out of money. Same goes to Candy Apple Cookie, who has an even lower allowance, and she spent hers already on new syrup so that means they're both broke.
That would leave master Shadow Milk Cookie last, that is, if he didn't gamble and drink all of their gold away. Were they truly so out of money, that they cannot even afford hollyberry juice? But that's impossible. That just couldn't be it.
"But master Shadow Milk Cookie, we have no gold left." The black haired cookie said, pulling his pockets inside out to emphasize just how poor they were. At the mention of the lack of gold, the beast straightened up so fast you'd think he was sober all along. The jester started at his minions for a good 20 seconds, not saying a single word.
"I'm afraid, you've used up all of our remaining savings. There's nothing left." Black Sapphire Cookie continued his speech, trying to explain the situation.
*Hic* "What a joke.." Shadow Milk Cookie mumbled before he broke into a slow, but increasingly more and more maniac laugh.
"HAHAHAHAHA *Hic* HAHAhaha...ha..h..a"
Suddenly looking down to stare at the floor, Black Sapphire Cookie took his chance and dragged Candy Apple Cookie out of the room, probably going far, far away to avoid any wrath his master may cause even in his drunken state.

As the evening rolled around, all three of them gathered around the long table (seriously, who needs such a long table for only 3 people?) eating supper. While Candy Apple Cookie shoved another spoonful into her mouth, as out of nowhere, the jester slammed his hand down in the middle of the dining table, his face showing his usual wicked grin, if you can even call that a grin.
"Since we're out of gold, and the minions I've sent out to rob the nearest villages won't return for a couple of days, I've decided to sign you two up for the upcoming Sweet Beats festival!" The beast boasted in an ever so sickly, upbeat voice.
"You two not only will preform! No no, but also set it up so you'd bring twice as much back." He continued on, keeping his face facade on.
"How does that sound, hm?" Their master looked at each of them invidualy, awaiting for their responses, though it's not like they'd worth anything anyway. Candy Apple Cookie was hyped, to say the least, already looking through the list of participants that would perform on the festival.
Black Sapphire Cookie on the other hand, was less than pleased, and wasn't shy to voice his disliking towards the idea either.
"You want us to do what now? Preform in front of a crowd?? Are you out of your mind?!" He growled in a hushed tone, not daring to raises his voice further, after all, he was still Shadow Milk Cookie's servant and minion.
"Well, it's not like you have a choice." His master hummed, spoon in hand, ready to resume his dinner. "Unless, you want to... challenge me?" A dangerous glint shone in his eye, and Black Sapphire Cookie could only grumble in dismay as he let out a simple "No".
"Well then! It's settled!" Back to his cheerful self, Shadow Milk Cookie clapped his hands together, signaling the end of the conversation. The rest of the dinner was spent in silence, occasionally broken by Candy Apple either gasping or squealing as she descended the Festival's list further.

The next morning, both Black Sapphire Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie set out to go and sign up for the upcoming Sweet Beats Festival. Candy Apple was skipping along the way, looking like she could explode, where as Black Sapphire cookie on the other hand was way less excited. His mood was way more bitter than the coffee he had this morning, the corners of his mouth tilting downwards scowling, and his footsteps heavier than ever. It was safe to say he absolutely despised the idea.
And to make matters worse, his sweet, beloved silence was filled with Candy Apple's gleeful chatter he oh so desperately tried to block out.
Suddenly, the young girl grabbed his arm, tugging at it while she looked up at him with gleaming eyes.
"Did you know that the B.A.D 4 will also be preforming today??" She exclaimed, not letting Black Sapphire's arm go once.
"Now I do." The show sighed. The truth is, they both know the band members personally, even if they rarely meet, and Candy Apple Cookie happened to be one of their biggest fan, blasting their music regularly through out the spire. Though lately, Black Sapphire Cookie has been hearing more negative reviews than positive about the band's stage performances.
Never the less, he already knew today won't be an ordinary day, not with the younger girl around.

As they arrived at the Festival's location, the two started setting up the stage, placing chairs and tweaking the speakers' volume, because they not only came to preform, but Shadow Milk Cookie also signed them up for duty so that they would bring back even more money back to the spire.
As the seats begin to fill up and other bands start to arrive, Candy Apple Cookie noticed the B.A.D 4 behind the curtains, but before she could approach them to ask for a signature, she noticed how the band leader was looking paler than ever, slumped over a chair.
"This is tragedy, this is terrible!" Licorice Cookie croaked, his voice barely above a whisper. "How am I supposed to preform like this?!" He continued with his rant.
"This is just great." Red Velvet Cookie growled frustratedly.
"We need to find someone who can perform in my place." Licorice Cookie urged. "Someone, who knows all of our songs and preferably knows how to sing." He added.
Candy Apple Cookie upon hearing all this suddenly jumped out from behind the boxes, bursting with energy.
"I can do it!" She squeals with excitement.
"I know all of your songs!!" The girl jumped up and down, happier than ever. Licorice Cookie looked unsure, but with the lack of other (jelentkezők), he reclulantly accepted her offer.
Meanwhile Black Sapphire Cookie watched from behind a corner, both with amusement and horror. It would be hilarious to watch Candy Apple Cookie embarrass herself in front of the crowd, but at the same time it wouldn't do well for the band's already decreasing popularity. So when the young girl left to probably look for him, Black Sapphire emerged from the shadows and approached the sick band leader.
"Hey, I know she looks enthusiastic, but she's a fan, not a performer. Let me take your place instead." The raven haired boy insisted. Licorice Cookie just nodded before doubling over, probably feeling nauseous.

As the day went on, slowly the participants list got smaller and smaller, until it was the B.A.D 4's turn. Candy Apple Cookie and the rest of the band members got ready to get on stage, but Black Sapphire Cookie stopped her, saying, "Stay here, I got this." And before she could respond, he was already on stage and the crowd's roaring cheers could be heard.
The performance went pretty smoothly, with Black Sapphire Cookie having memorized all of the lyrics came in clutch. By the time they finished, the crowd was ballistic and they were cheering for more. "Saved the day once more!" Black Sapphire thought as he basked in the praises.
He'd have almost forgotten his passion for singing after he joined Shadow Milk in the spire to serve him. It felt amazing, but nobody needed to know that other than himself.
As they were leaving the stage, Candy Apple Cookie rushed past him and before he could stop her, she was already on stage with the crowd cheering once more. With the crowd egging her on, Candy Apple Cookie let her voice loose, trying to recreate one of the band's most famous song.
The key word being "trying", because no matter how hard she tried, her voice was just not as good and talented as a performer's voice. Her voice wasn't bad, per se, but it was rather... unique, unusual, even. At first, the crowd was excited, but as the song continued on, their enthusiasm slowly faded away, looking rather weary than excited.
Upon noticing this, the young girl felt her confidence waiver, her song slowly coming to the end. Once it was over, the silence coating them was deafening and nobody dared to move.
In the meantime, Black Sapphire stood to the sidelines, a hint of amusement shining in his eyes. "If this little brat wants to embarrass herself so badly, I won't stop her." He thought, waiting for it all to unfold.
Candy Apple Cookie stood on the stage, looking extremely hopeless before she crunched up her face and yelled, "Cheer for me!". The crowd just stared at her in stunned silence, confused.
"I said.. CHEER FOR ME!!!"
The crowd immediately started haphazardly clapping for her, fearing for their lives. The little girl just bowed happily before skipping off of the stage, leaving a stunned and distraught Black Sapphire Cookie behind. Well, things worked out... Right?
After claiming their prices, a hefty amount of gold that would last them for a while and talking with the B.A.D 4's band members, Black Sapphire Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie began to make their way back to the spire.
And maybe, MAYBE, he might get on stage again to perform for the band, obviously if there's a price involved, and Candy Apple Cookie well... She does whatever she wants, it's not like he can stop her. And last but not least, master Shadow Milk Cookie can buy his own beer this time.
