When newt was small his mom was taking care of hippogriffs, they had a barn and stables and his mom was breeding and taking care of the hippogriffs and their chicks.
He remembers a night that was too much the wind was howling outside his window it was cold and the rain was pouring all day.
His mom taught them how to approach the stables and the hippogriffs inside but cautioned them no to do so without her.
But on the night in question a 5 years old newt made his way to the stables because he was scared.
He couldn’t explain why but he knew he needed to be there.
And so he sneaked and as he opened the door a lightning struck.
In the shadows of the night and the lightning he saw a beautiful but dangerous thing a niffler found his way into the barn and a few small creatures as well but the niffler was the biggest problem.
Especially because hippogriffs egg are bejeweled, And the nifflers treasure consists of shiny thing.
In pink and purple pajamas and with bare feet he bows down to the hippogriffs and tries to keep trucking the niffler.
And as the hippogriff bows back he rushes inside and tries to catch the niffler .
He doesn’t want it to get hurt -the niffler isn’t to blame for holding precious things close and liking pretty shiny stuff but he is mischievous and small and the hippogriffs are regal and proud but so precious .
So for the next hour he rushes around the stable chasing a small furry niffler .
When he catches him he is tussled and has hay tangled in his hair and it seems like he is being laughed at .
But as he is petting the niffler and moving closer to the hippogriffs he pays more attention to their mighty colors .
There is bronze and warm brown and sunny blond and shining white beautiful mighty precious fluffy Griff's .
And as he draws closer they start grazing his hair so he sits down and pets the niffler and doesn’t fight the Griff's.
And as he sits and waits for the rain to ease he murmurs to the niffler -your so cute and messy but people shouldn't be mad because precious thing are meant to be kept and cherished and people learn the value of things when they are lost and he tells him quietly while fishing a shiny button from his pj that he stays with him he will give him shiny thing and protect him.
And the Griff's who are busy nosing his hair he pets them and tells them they are beautiful and mighty and he feels safe with them ,he promises in the quiet of the night with his heart beating rapid that he will protect them because they all deserve to be happy and protected .
